One by one, he was reaching out to each of his children to do something special with them. Nolan was the first to watch the sunrise with him, Imogen had explored their new land to help him check for things they could use as resources, Button had helped him craft bags, and now, now it was Billy’s turn. After the pups had finished their breakfast and started to run off to play, Beauregard would call out to his daughter. “Billy, Billy come with me, little one. We’re going to do something special today.” A grin found its way to his lips. Billy was the largest of her siblings, and Beau had the feeling that as the big sister she would have a protective nature over her smaller siblings. What better thing to do than nurture that? As far as she was concerned, Dad would get around to all of them, and there were a bunch of them, even if they were all smaller than her. she imagined it as a lope. It was more a strange stride, the gawky puppy-run of a kid with paws bigger than the rest of her. In the years to come, she'd grow into her frame. Billy was such a sweet girl. She responded in kind, moving at one of those strange puppy-run as she learned to manage her large paws. Given their size, he had no doubt she would be at least as big as he was, if not larger. And that size would help her as she grew older, to not only protect her home and loved ones but aid her in hunting as well. Though if she decided that fighting wasn’t for her, Beauregard would never argue. He wanted his children to be happy no matter what path they took in life. His blue gaze softened as he looked down at her, a grin spreading across his lips. His own tail wagged behind him and the man gave a wink to his daughter. “Leadership training!” Beau hummed. He would straighten, though there was no hiding his own excitement about his. “Whether you become the Destinatus or not, I can tell that you have a lot of strength and a strong personality. Mimic me, do as I do. Widen your stance, spreading your legs out so that they are directly below your shoulders and hips like this. Let your weight become centered across them, and attempt to have it even across your body. Keeping your weight distributed as you move or brace yourself for an attack helps with your balance, and prevents you from being toppled over so easily.” Beauregard explained.
