He was free to roam now, though he didn't go very far. Not yet. He often remained within the vicinity of the den, unsure of getting anywhere near the waters that surrounded the island. Dad's bird often kept an eye on him and his siblings, which was probably for the better, honestly. Draven couldn't seem to shake dad's dumb bird anyway, and no matter how many times he tried so far, it somehow always knew where he was. He grumbled as he sat beneath a tree, the bird sitting directly above him. "Bugger off and spy on someone else, will ya?" he sighed in frustration. How was he supposed to sneak off and check things out if he was always being babysat? There were three sets of eyes on the pups...though Sulfur was never a problem...especially compared to Wade. He had yet to meet the other pack members, but dad said that would happen soon enough. He hoped soon! He was bored!

Ken had heard a rumour there were other kids around, and while he liked his siblings well enough, it sure would be nice to sit on hang out with someone different for a change.

For some reason, Mumma wasn't in her room anymore, so he made his way over to the Archipelago to try and track her down. Problem was, he hadn't spent a lot of time over here and there sure were some pretty great smells to sniff. His cool new scars stood out in pale pink against the chocolate browns of his coat, he thought they made him look like a tough guy, like his dad! But that didn't make him any less good natured than he had always been. That whole night was a bit of a blur but hadn't served as a deterrent for the kid at all.  He still scampered about, chasing a lizard over here, trying to catch a bird there, until a more canine scent caught his nose...

He angled his body to try and peek through the underbrush, wondering if he could jump out and ambush one of his siblings... Was that Tar?

He moaned and groaned, kicking sand and sticks and rocks before looking up again and sticking his tongue out at his dads palm cockatoo. His dads companion ruffled his feathers and laughed at him. "Oi! Mind yer tongue ye cheeky bugger! Yer dad would kill me if somethin' happened to ye, eh?" Draven drew in a big sigh as he turned away, getting up to stretch his limbs. Sure he was too small now to really do anything to that dumb bird, but someday, he'd get big and there was nothing that cockatoo could do about it! Instead of arguing back, he opted to walk away, and in doing so, a strange new scent caught his attention. His ears perked up and he whipped his head around trying to find the source. "Who's there! I'm not scared of ya! Show yourself!" He called out.

The voice that called out certainly was not Tar, and as he angled his head ever so slightly, he realised this must be one of the other kids. Now, while he wasn't Cal by any means, that didn't mean he didn't like throwing his weight around sometimes, and if the kid wasn't scared of him... well... His butt gave an excited little wiggle before he burst from the undergrowth, tripping over his own feet and cartwheeling butt-first towards the other kid. He hadn't meant to turn this into a scuffle, but it would seem the universe had other plans for the uncoordinated blur of muddy browns.
