Nila was not quite used to this new home of hers. Full of Familiar but not friendly faces. She was still surrounded by Saxes. And honestly it shouldn’t have felt so… Natural. While she was constantly anxious about it, it was her normal life. She didn’t know anything different. So it was honestly just another day to her.
Slinking as quietly as she could through the trees and bush to avoid anyone noticing her. She just wanted to get some fresh air while Kaino was out doing Kaino things. Nila wished she could make her stay home, keep Kaino all to herself but she couldn’t. So Nila had to find something to keep her mind from driving her crazy while she waited for her master and friend to come home.
Today she was exploring their new homelands. Needing to make sure she could find her way around, should she ever need to find Kaino. It was better to have a basic knowledge of the lands they lived in. So she skulked around, keeping to the shadows as best she could.
She’d been at this for a few hours and now she wanted to rest. Climbing up the hillside till she found a sunny spot. She stopped and took a deep breath. It smelled entirely of saxe’s with a dash of strangers here. It was almost enough to make her want to run home. To hide, but the sun warming her pelt kept her rooted in place for now.

It wasn't long before Aurelia detected a presence nearby, an elusive creature moving with a quiet grace that seemed to crave solitude. Curiosity ignited within her as she followed the faint scent trail, eventually laying eyes on an earthy toned fae. A soft smile tugged at the corners of Aurelia's lips as she neared, careful not to startle the skulking figure. Approaching with casual interest, she sized up the girl lingering in the shadows, her gaze lingering on the curious stranger. Noticing the wolf's discreet movements, she mused to herself, "Making ourselves at home, are we?"
The graceful tilt of her head was accompanied by a coy smile as she gestured towards a patch of sun-dappled grass nearby. "Doesn't that look like the ideal spot for a little rest?" Her voice held a playful undertone, tempting the lone wolf to join her in basking in the warm rays of sunlight. Her piercing eyes held a glint of challenge, silently daring him to accept her unspoken invitation. The air around them seemed charged with anticipation, as if they were both waiting for the other to make the first move.

Nila practically jumped out of her skin as a woman’s voice called to her. She really sucked at going unnoticed it seemed. She was always bumping into someone new. And it was honestly starting to make her desire nothing more than to hide away in a den with Kaino all day. Studying the woman before her she realized that she didn’t recognize her. She wasn’t a saxe, or well not one that had grown up with Kaino and by extension herself.
That alone made her visibly relax a bit. None saxe’ wolves were easier for her to talk to. Unless they were guests of the saxe, then her anxiety would leap back up to one hundred percent. ”It…It’s already my…h-home” she called out, her voice stuttered a bit. She followed the woman’s look at the sunny patch of grass she’d been hoping to relax into moments ago.
Taking a tentative step towards the grace she looked back at the woman. Studying her to make sure this wasn’t a trap. That she wasn’t about to be punished for doing something she shouldn’t be doing. And then her mind wandered back to Kai’s warning. That if anyone should hurt her, she had to tell Kai so Kai could handle it. She belonged to Kai. And only Kai reserved the right to hurt her, not that she ever did.
She motioned for the stranger to go first as she bowed her head slightly. She didn’t know who this woman was, or why she was here. But that little voice in her head was warning her to watch herself. She didn’t act like any sidi she’d ever met, and that meant she was a threat in some way.
”Y-You First, Ma’am” her voice shook still.

Aurelia smirked, her brown eyes dancing with amusement as she rolled them in mock boredom. "Ah, formalities," she mused, her voice dripping with a playful arrogance. "Aurelia, then. No need for the 'ma'am' nonsense. We're not hosting a tea party, darling." Her words were like honey, laced with a hint of mischief as she tested the other wolf's reaction- offering her own name as an introduction.
She patted the soft blades of grass beside her once again, this time with more conviction. "Come, join me," she beckoned. The girl before her was not the first she had encountered in these woods, but it seemed to be the most timid and on edge. She could sense its fear pulsing through the air, and couldn't help but feel a twinge of curiosity. "What's got you so skittish?" Her voice held a playful lilt, as if she were trying to solve a captivating puzzle.
With a graceful lean, Aurelia propped herself up on her hind legs, peering at the other wolf with an arched eyebrow. A sly smile played on her lips, daring the other to lower their defenses. "Well then, don't keep me in suspense. What's your story?" Her words dripped with a playful edge, as if she knew some secret that the rest of the world didn't. And there was a glimmer in her eye that hinted at something more...something tempting and alluring.
