Raid Meeting!

The time had come for Ethne to strike back. While the pack had lost the raid and, with it, several of their chickens, it is the events that took place afterward that have left a bitter taste in the young Leader’s mouth. Gilgamesh had once offered to train Ethne members and, after much contemplation, she has decided that there is no better way to do that than in all-out attack to get back their chickens.
It is early morning when Haydée traces the familiar pathway up to the top of the falls, her still healing wounds throbbing dully with each heartbeat. But they will not stop her, no nothing will stand in her way today. With her armor and dagger in place, she lightly leaps on top of the familiar rock that she uses for meetings and settles in.
Manon, her fossa friend, joins her and the slightly nervous leader looks down and says, “I really hope everyone is ready to go take on the Raiders Hallow. You know, this will be my first time leading a raid!” With a smile, Hay tips her head back and booms a summons to all those who wish that take the fight back to the Raiders Hallow with only one wolf required to attend; Bellamy. Yes, her mother would be partaking in this raid.
"Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.”
Haydée has a male northern cardinal named Chanson and a female fossa named Manon. They are always close by.

Dagrún continued to waffle back and forth on her placement in Ethne, whether she should stay or she should go. Eventually as the days passed her heartache over Gossamer dissipated and she was able to think a bit more clearly. Still having yet to make a final decision she was pleased to hear Haydée calling Ethne together for a meeting. A raid meeting! Now that was music to her ears. A chance to get their chickens back but even more so a chance to show some backbone. Dag hadn't been sorry at all that the raiders pup had been maimed. She had been nearly a yearling, plenty old for scars and they had decided to bring her along so they should've been prepared for consequences.
She arrived with a spring in her step. "Please tell me we're getting those chickens back? Or at the very least giving the raiders a taste of their own medicine?"

The days since the raid had been… okay for Jericho but his worry for his 2 missing brothers had stolen most of those first few days. Luckily, his aunt had brought both of his wayward siblings’ home and, since then, he had stuck close to them to make absolutely certain, they would not wander off again.
The day is young when a summons goes up for the pack, announcing the fact that they would be taking the fight back to Raiders Hallow and of course the boy couldn’t turn that down. Eagerly, he rushes to the meeting area, shooting both woman an excited grin as he arrives. Skidding to a stop near them, he darts his white gaze between them, waiting to hear Haydée’s reply to Dagrún’s questions as his tail wags happily behind him.
This was going to be fun!

A raid meeting call. The call makes Bellamy’s fur bristle, standing on end as she rises from the furs of her bed. She suspected this might happen, Ethne might have been a more good aligned pack, but that didn’t mean that they were going to be okay with another pack coming in and taking their resources. Those wolves were fools if they thought Ethne would just take the loss quietly. No, Bellamy had taught them all better than that, to not be walked on. Despite her previous talk with Hay and Bae-Syl both, the woman would not stay away from the meeting. She had a gift for her daughter, the simple trinket that it was. The bracelet had been reinforced with several layers of hide to make it comfortable, and Gavroche’s feathers had been added to give it flair. It was simple, but her daughter would understand the meaning of the gift. She would arrive at the meeting, sliding up to her daughter’s side, and set the bracelet down before her. “I thought this day would come, Haydée. Here, a good luck charm.” She nuzzled her daughter’s cheek affectionately. “I pray it keeps you safe.” |

She had been healing for the past few weeks following the raid, despite losing in her last round. She didn't feel any sort of discouragement or self-pity. In fact, this had fueled in her a sensation never felt before. A fire that consumed her. She had still to avenge her father against those idiots. Who thought themselves big enough to attack small packs. Her youth made her ignore her own mortality and safety for her all that mattered right now was making them pay at whatever costs. Pain wasn't enough and she was ready for more. She arrived. "They will pay," She commented without hesitation, always honest with how she felt towards something or someone. She took a seat by her brother Jericho.

Head lifted as she stopped in her digging for clams, listening to the call that her sister sent out. By this point, she was pretty well-versed in how wolves communicated and knew what that tone meant. Sort of. She knew it was important, and from the tone in it, they were about to do something exciting! Would it have anything to do regarding the raiders that had come and stolen their chickens? She wasn't sure, but she was eager to find out. Abandoning her search for the goods, Saga lumbered her way toward the top of the falls, mud covered legs a dark contrast to her otherwise pale coat. The young bear made it in record time, spotting only a pawful of others already present. She carefully walked over to her mom, the young bear easily standing taller than her by now, and she gently nudged her mother's shoulder. "Hi, mama!" She smiled before settling down onto her belly, eager and ready for this meeting to start. |

Bae moved towards the sound of Haydee's summons with careful movements. On his once bad shoulder a pauldron rested. His leg was wrapped in a bracer connected to the pauldron. With straps laying on his chest and back securing it the ensemble was complete. Lucy would likely be more relaxed about him fighting with the armor piece on him. But he wasn't concerned either way.
He came in and immediately his eyes narrowed. Bells wasn't supposed to be fighting and with what Haydee's call had said was this was a meeting for a raid. He was not pleased with this. They had agreed for the good of everyone that bells wouldn't fight anymore. He passed his eyes from Bells to Haydee, then those gathered. He moved to seat himself off to the side. Haydee's new scarring flesh had been taken in. Did she have Dorian or Lucy look at that? He had hoped she had. He could only stay silent right now though and wait.

As his best friend and personal medic, Lucette is allowed to enter Bae-Syl's threads as she sees fit. That being said Bae-Syl is her self appointed protector and might enter threads with her in them to ensure her safety.

The call from his sister had Alexander breaking away from his hunt to attend. While a small meal might have been more, it was important he attended. Both for the pack and for himself. By the time he had arrived, several wolves were already present. His mother, his sisters, Bae-Syl… his green haze shifted over to Hay. He knew well enough how their mother raised them… no one would walk all over Ethne like they were weak. He hadn't been available to attend the last raid so he was ready to back his sister up! Alex gave Hay a firm nod - if she was ready then all of them were going to follow her.

While he certainly hadn't expected his headstrong sister to take a beating and not try to fight back, some part of him had hoped that they would be done with bloodshed for a time. It felt like one thing after another and when he heard his sister's howl to summon them for a meeting to prepare for a raid he let out a slow sigh as he closed his eyes for a moment. The raid had left him and Haydée scarred and he wasn't exactly jumping at the chance to be pulled into another fight–especially one where he would be on the attacking side rather than the defensive–but he wouldn't allow his family to charge off into danger without him. He might still be green when it came to healing, but his knowledge was better than nothing when it came to immediate triage after a fight. He walked away from his garden to join in on the meeting, arriving well after a bulk of the pack's fighters had already arrived–including their mother. He questioned whether that was a wise decision given how her actions had changed the tone of the previous raid, but if that's what his sister wished then it wasn't his place to intervene. He ended up settling next to Alexander, forcing a bit of a smile as he gave Haydée his full attention.

Lucette heard the call, had expected it after the last meeting. She rose, wanted nothing more than to help see her family through to get their chickens back. She had packed herbs for emergency care of their wolves in the event of a maim - she didn’t expect that their presence would be welcomed. Lucy also didn’t expect Bae-Syl to take kindly to her going, but after what had happened with Gavroche last time, and the aftermath of it all, she wanted him to be home and away from the danger. Away from those that could hurt him. Away from those who were going to hurt their family. They… couldn’t risk more injuries defending him. Not against this pack. She arrived, tipping her head to her sister before moving up to Bae-Syl. “I need you to trust I will run before letting them take a piece of me, but I need to go.” She whispered to him, looking up at him with a gentle gaze. This was a true test of their strength as a couple. She could count on Bae… but would Bae be able to count on her?
Lucette has two companions - a kodkod and a saw-scaled viper. Unless otherwise mentioned IC, assume that they are close by.
Bae-Syl, as Lucette's bestie, guardian, and mate is welcome to invade her threads at any time regardless of how they are marked.

As Haydée’s summons fades into the early morning air, butterflies flutter uncomfortably in her stomach. There are so many unknowns staring her in the face when it comes to this raid and, while she feels completely justified in seeking to take back their chickens, the worry that one or more of her pack members will be maimed in the process, lingers in the back of her mind. The first to appear is Dagrún and her eager questions has the Leader barking a laugh and dipping her in agreement as she says, “Oh yes, it is time to get the chickens back! Try not to take all the good fights… okay?”
A wink is given to the older woman as Hay teases Dagrún and a huge, excited grin tugs at her features while her eyes sparkle with mischievous intent. The worry that had been gnawing at her stomach flees as others begin to filter in. Bellamy appears and she beams a smile at the woman while her mother moves up to her to deposit a beautiful bracelet before her. Emerald eyes track down to it as she quietly traces the colorful wing feathers of Gavroche’s and sorrow tugs at her heart. After all this is said and done, she knows that she needs to seek the boy out and have a heart to heart talk with him.
Lifting her gaze once more, she softly says, “Thank you, mom.” and returns the nuzzle with enthusiasm. Slipping the bracelet up over her right leg, Haydée makes sure it fastened tightly while the rest of the raiding party arrives. With the symbol of her family now attached to right foreleg, the young woman turns her gaze out those who gathered and takes note of the ones who seem upset. Taking a deep breath, she lifts her voice and says, “I have called this meeting to get back what was taken from us. Today, we will descend on the Raiders Hollow and show them that Ethne is not such an easy target. Today, we will get our chickens back.”
With her peace said, Haydée leaps down from her rock and moves through the crowd, determination and righteous fury radiating off her form as she leads the charge toward Raiders land.
"Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.”
Haydée has a male northern cardinal named Chanson and a female fossa named Manon. They are always close by.
