There was a spring in her step born of relief and optimism as she set out to look for her older beta. It was strange that she hadn't quite known how much tension she was under, how much it felt like the whole of the pack's fate rested solely on her shoulders, until some of that weight was taken off her. Cloud volunteering as her beta had helped, but added the worries that she was putting too much on him when he should have been enjoying his retirement. Now she felt some sense of equilibrium returning with another there to take up part of that weight so she didn't feel so guilty burdening Cloudburst. Now she had to find him, let him know to coordinate with Alarr, that they'd be sharing the duties of the betas together. Giving up when she didn't find him immediately, Corbie raised her muzzle to call out for him.
