Traveling closer toward the more peaceful pack of Avalon, he couldn't help but briefly wonder what it was like to be so...easygoing. According to his father, Avalon was the peaceful sort. Didn't go out looking for fights, but would defend what was theirs. Corbie, apparently, was a skill hunter, and someone who had earned her respect. His lip lifted in brief disgust as the thoughts promptly went away. He couldn't imagine himself living like that. It sounded so boring! Tending to livestock and living life in peace? Blech. The chaotic life he lived in Raiders Hollow suited him just fine for now...though sometimes he swore there was still something missing, he just couldn't figure out what.

Cresting a knoll, he looked down the hills to the flatter plains, watching as a small herd of bison milled about doing whatever it was that bison did. There were a couple of them butting heads. Others straying from the safety of the herd. Some relaxing as they lay in the grass, lazily eating their fill. A bison steak sounded good...but there was no way he could take one down on his own...

Little did he know this was also the domain of a big, maned feline that didn't take kindly to trespassers in his domain...
