Azoula

As the sun began its descent behind the horizon, casting long shadows across the landscape, Mila settled herself beneath the protective cover of a dense shrubbery, keeping some of her body visible just so she was easy to find. Her eyes scanned the unfamiliar surroundings, taking in the sights and scents of her new home. The gentle rustle of leaves in the evening breeze provided a soothing backdrop to her thoughts. She was told to stay in this spot as directed by the tigress, Mila understood the boundaries set by Azoula and would abide by them. Nevertheless, she felt a mixture of apprehension and curiosity swirling within her.
However, Mila couldn't quite shake the anticipation of what lay ahead. She had been taught many things by her previous masters, there were skills and knowledge she had and was eager to apply in her new environment when necessary. Yet, she also understood the need to adapt and learn the ways of her new pack, to navigate the intricate social dynamics that governed their interactions.
As the evening deepened, Mila's thoughts turned to Azoula's return. With a quiet resolve, she awaited the tigress's guidance, ready to fulfill whatever expectations lay ahead. In this new home, amidst the unknown, she would find solace in the certainty of her duties, a steady anchor in the ever-shifting currents of pack life.

Beneath a backdrop of orange and red hues that cast out across a twilight sky, Azoula moved through the Polar Sound with predatory ease- silent and calculated as she stalked through the underbrush, returning back to the area she’d left Mila. Having separated the girl from Delaeni, she needed to brand her with the reality of a Sidi’s purpose. The agony she would endure, to satiate the sadist of their home. In truth, she’d lied to her the day they met- and ever since, the tigress has been building a mock foundation of trust with the girl- weaving a web of deception, trapping Mila in its center to ensure she had no means of escape. Azoula wondered how Laney would react if she knew the extent of her ploys- if she’d feel betrayed, knowing Azoula recruited Mila as a Sidi from the start.
These thoughts gnawed away at every corner of her mind, contorting her features into something akin to a sneer as she emerged from the underbrush. Her posture was different in the absence of Laney- previously, she’d been kind to the girl, offering her aid and keeping her safe. But now, she had a look of indifference that bordered in the lines of disgust- lips pulled above her massive canines, as she peered down at the girl. “Mila,” She’d croon, in that sickly sweet, domineering voice of hers. A predatory gleam flickering in her eyes- one that gave insight to the hunger gnawing at her. “Do you understand your purpose?” It was a broad question really- one that might hold many meanings. But what Azoula wanted to know was if this girl had any inclination of the expectations of her new role in their kingdom- and if she was going to accept it or defy it.

Mila felt a shiver run down her spine as Azoula emerged from the undergrowth, her demeanour markedly different from their previous interactions. Gone was the warmth, replaced by a disturbing aura of indifference and something darker, something the girl couldn't quite place. As Azoula's voice broke the silence, Mila's heart skipped a beat, her eyes meeting the tigress's with a mixture of apprehension and uncertainty. The question hung in the air, heavy with implications that she could only begin to fathom.
"I... I think so, Azoula," Mila replied tentatively, her voice betraying a hint of hesitation. She had a sinking feeling that there was more to Azoula's question than met the eye, but she couldn't quite grasp the extent of it. "My purpose is to serve the pack, to contribute in any way I can... Isn't it?" There was a flicker of doubt in her eyes, a subtle plea for confirmation that she was on the right track. But deep down, she couldn't shake the nagging feeling that there was something darker lurking beneath the surface, something she wasn't quite prepared for. But for now, she pushed those thoughts aside, determined to maintain the facade of obedience and compliance.

Each step Azoula took was predatory; the rolling of her shoulders exaggerated, while those rounded, saucer-like ears stood at attention, honing in at every subtle change in Mila’s exterior. Apprehension overpowered her expression, feeding into Azoula’s lust for power over the canine. Mmmm, it was a bittersweet moment. Mila would come to learn Azoula’s true nature, and the depravity that festered in the shadows of her mind.
But this was merely the calm before the storm; a palpable atmosphere of unease, apprehension, and fear building between them, as Azoula closed in. She would stop once she is a tail’s length from the girl; her massive body looming over her like a shadow- possessive and domineering. “You think so?” She echos Mila’s words, lips curling into a tighter sneer that conveys her contempt. “Correct- you’ll serve the pack in any way that you can.” There is a minacious undercurrent to her words as she confirms Mila’s statement, feeding into the doubt that’s flickering in her eyes. “But I’ve brought you here for a specific purpose.” The tip of her tail is writhing back and forth, giving insight into the sinister ploys swarming in her mind. “You’ve been with a male, yes?” She wastes no time beating around the subject; she needs to know if Mila knows how to satisfy the depravities of the Saxe males. Hell, maybe the Saxe females too.

Mila's heart thumped painfully in her chest as Azoula's shadow loomed over her, the tigress' intense gaze boring into her. Each word Azoula spoke seemed to weigh heavier than the last, confirming the darker undertones she had begun to sense. The air around them felt thick, almost suffocating, as Mila struggled to maintain her composure under Azoula's domineering presence.
Her voice was barely above a whisper, a stark contrast to Azoula's commanding tone. "No, I haven't... not in the way you mean," Mila confessed, her eyes glancing away briefly before returning to meet the tigress's. There was a vulnerability in her confession, a raw honesty that she hoped would assuage Azoula's harsh scrutiny. "I... I've been close to others before, but it never went... beyond that," she added quickly, hoping that her words would not arouse Azoula's anger or contempt.
Mila's voice trembled slightly as she continued, her mind racing with thoughts of what might be expected of her now. "I'll learn what I need to... I don't want to let you down," her gaze was serious, pleading for some semblance of understanding, or even a hint of the kindness Azoula had once shown her. She swallowed hard, trying to steel herself for whatever the tigress's response might be.
