She had decided to return to auster for the time. It would be a sad reunion with her parents she knew. After all she'd left not too long ago to seek out her sister and to shoulder alot of responsibilities. She had promised to be able to find Button but so far she had done no finding of her. She at least knew she had tracked her to Boreas, but there was a point she had lost their tracks. It was a sad realization that her sister had been unable to be located. She'd failed.
She padded further into Auster, not ready to return to her parent's new place. She wasn't able to call it home. It wasn't home to her. Home was in a little hut in the woods at the falls. She was a bundle of emotions right now. Anger at herself for failing, fear of Button never being found, sadness at the fact that she would disappoint her dads. There was alot on her plate and resting on her shoulders.
She had been so lost in thought when she came to a stop. Surprise colored her face for a second, the backside of the hut at the falls in her vision. When did she turn off of her chosen path? The night had fallen long ago, but tonight a light shone on the land that Trixy wasn't used to. It bathed the land in all sorts of colors, mostly greens, pinks and blues. It was a pretty phenomenon. But there was another thing that surprised her.
There in the distance, was that a cloaked wolf? Weird. The only wolf she'd seen in a cloak had been Gav. Was it him? And if so what was he doing out here? It took her a moment to find the words without yelling, after all she didn't want to stir up the lands. "Gav?"

He had headed back home with Beauregard as Bellatrix went about setting things up with her pack… but they had lingered here, in the place that had once been the home of Norad. Beauregard seemed to be filled with bittersweet memories of the place… and why wouldn’t he be? He had raised his family here, and had begun strengthening Trixy’s skills here. Gavroche understood his sorrow, and why he would miss this place. The cloaked male told him to take the time that he needed to grieve, and had settled somewhere near the base of the falls, listening to the water as it cascaded down below where it would continue its journey.
Gavroche had been doing a lot of thinking. Of the harm his aunt had received, of the trouble between them and the Raiders… more than anything he wanted to do better, to be a better defender for his home… but right now he feels useless. He had failed his brother Baecette… and that loss still weighed heavily on all of his family. Gavroche lets out a soft sigh, ears falling flat as he glances up through the trees at the night sky.
Tonight things are different within it, a wave of colors wagging back and forth above the trees. It is beautiful, greens and blues, purples… it reminds him of his dear friend Bellatrix almost. A sad smile comes to his face… would her having a pack mean it was goodbye once more?
Then, almost as if the world can sense his question, a call is made. Gavroche lifts his head and turns it toward Bellatrix as she calls to him, and the cloaked male lifts a paw and waves it at her. “H-Hey… your dad is off looking at some stuff so I’m killing time here. What brings you back this way, Trixy?” He asked.

Find me where the wild things are He turned to her and she gave him a sad smile. She was failing everyone right now wasn't she? She moved towards him, and without thinking she was tucking her head up under his and pressing her body against his. Her breath coming out ragged as she lets out the hurt, the shame and those raw emotions she usually bottled up. She doesn't care that he has no fur and that she is showing things she shouldn't to anyone but herself and those closest to her. He speaks but she has no real answer. Why was she home and not doing things she is supposed to be doing? Her only answer is to let out a quiet sob. Beau was somewhere near, and she knew what he would find. A ransacked hut in the woods that was in disrepair. It only added to those hurt feelings. She let herself cry for some time. She didn't care that this wasn't the Trixy she showed the world. Gav was her best friend and wouldn't use this night against her. "Distract me?" her voice was small. A whisper of a question. A distraction would be good right now. She needed to refocus and not think. She pulled her head back and used the back of her wrist bone to wipe at her now wet tear streaked face. They both had hurts that might never heal, and he was her best friend. They would both benefit from some kind of distraction. The lights in the sky were pretty but were the only otherwitness to her finally breaking to these feelings. Anger, hurt, sadness, disappointmen in herself, they were all running rampant in her lately. And all that alone time had only given her alot of time to think about the things that hurt. Bellatrix came closer, and Gavroche did not deny his friend as he wrapped a foreleg around her in a hug. He wasn’t sure what comfort he could give, but if he could do anything to chase away her hurts and doubts he would. Gav’s ears fell and, in those moments of holding his best friend, he realized just how angry he was that her pack had been taken away. He didn’t understand these rules of packs at all. They fought each other and hurt each other… but he just wanted to do what was ‘right’ and help others! Wasn’t that the way things should be? Or was he living in some other world, a world where those who wanted to protect those they loved were met with challenge after challenge?
At her request, Gavroche pulled back, a thought coming to mind. “Spar me.” He drew away from her, walking a couple feet away before dropping into a defensive stance. “We’re going to make sure we both get strong, so no one can hurt our families again. We’ll make sure they know that being little doesn’t mean weak.” There was a fire in Gavroche’s eyes as he set his defenses, a bit of a grin coming onto his lips. “Besides, wolves wear armor and stuff all the time! My collar isn’t much of a threat, or my dagger, but this cloak I have on could make grabbing me harder. It can be good practice!” He didn’t want this to all be serious, after all.
“Come on, show me what you’ve got!” He barked, the lights from the skies above shifting and reflecting shades of purple, green, and blue upon his coat. He dug his claws into the soil, offering his friend the first move.

Find me where the wild things are Gav was quick with an idea and she gave him a nod. A spar was definitely a good idea. Both could use a refresher on fighting. She stood and gave gav a small smile. She pulled her defenses forth, mirroring his, only she didn't pull her lips. No dagger would be drawn. "My vest will offer you a good challenge, since its so snug." not to mention warm. Her tail gave him a wag as he gave her the first move. Her toes flexed into the soil for a brief second. Then she was erupting towards him. Her aim to close the gap he had created, and then her jaws were seeking to grab onto the hood of that cloak. He didn't need that with her. Time she got rid of it. A paw aiming to wrap around his nape in the same instance. The lights above painted them in a beautiful light. Greens, blues, pinks, purples danced upon them and the landscape. A landscape she had missed dearly when she went into boreas. Walk, "Talk", Think |

Gavroche braced himself, preparing for Bellatrix’s attack. Claws bit into the soil and the furless male fixed her with a narrowed green gaze. His cat eyes narrowed his pupils into slits, body tensed and ready to intercept the attack she was to make. Bellatrix was quick to try and close the distance that had been made between the two of them, which was only natural after all. The color reflecting in her eyes from the skies showed Trixy’s determination. She wouldn’t let this be an easy victory. Gavroche kicked the ground as she got close, moving with one of the waves of the aurora borealis as he reared upward on hind legs.
Forelegs were thrust forward, wrapping up toward Bellatrix’s shoulder and neck. Meanwhile her fangs found purchase not on him, but in the hood of his cloak. He was no longer able to see as she pulled, moving the fur up over his head so that he was blinded. Gavroche growled in surprise, hoping to use his gripping digits to grab onto her vest and wrestle her down. But had Trixy already got the upper paw in this scuffle? At this rate he was going to lose his cloak!

She got a good hold on the cloak and her lips pulled in a smirk. Gav's paws got a hold of her and she let him push. Cuz in that moment she used the momentum of his push to pull hard and fall backwards. Hopefully the offending object would come off with the momentum of the movement. She let herself go to her back, aiming to press her back paws on Gav's chest at the same moment as her going backwards. That cloak was gonna either come off or she was gonna lose.
Her forepaws tucked against her chest to keep him from going for the ties on her vest. Her eyes narrowed with determination and excitement. She couldn't help the wag her tail did behind her. Her hackles weren't raised though, obviously this was friendly so she really didn't need perfect defenses.

Gavroche was struggling to get free, pushing against his friend to try and get her to release her hold, but no success was found there. Trixy fell back but the hold on the cloak remained. With the momentum of the fall and some additional pushing with her back legs the cloak was off. It was pulled over his head and Gavroche stumbled back, a squeak of embarrassment leaving his lips as he abandoned his own attacks. Heat immediately rushed to his cheeks, coloring them bright red as he sat and hunched down toward himself. He looked, and felt, ridiculous. He was completely naked, lacking fur or feather, and the young male averted his gaze as he shifted uneasily on paw to paw.
“I uh… I guess you win, T-trixy…” The sudden exposure to the air had made it feel as though Gavroche’s skin was crawling. The yearling cleared his throat. “Can I have my cloak back…?” He really didn’t want her to see her like this. The first time she had caught him was bad enough, but the longer he was like this the more awkward it felt. He didn’t have these feelings when his mom checked on him, but there was a big difference from your mom seeing you in an embarrassing state than your best friend seeing you that way!
