They couldn’t keep it down. Their lack of appetite had frustrated them all, Tan felt miserable. They sneezed, coughing once in a while too. How awful on top of it that their daughter was missing. They couldn’t think straight with these stuffy symptoms making him feel like they couldn’t breathe. While all they wanted was to curl up next to Beau and just forget this all ever happened. Their home had been taken from them, and while they had their lives there was still a sense of immeasurable loss. Tan sighed, coughing again in a few fits before they lowered their head.

They had curled up near the falls. Paws dipping into the water in a mere attempt at a grounding mechanism. During all this they should probably seek a healer out. Certain that with the help of some herbs they would slowly get better and could continue their training. Their seemingly perfect life had been thrown out. They couldn’t help to wonder if their mate was doing alright.

Tani was out to get water to continue making more poltices and concoctions. Her mother was likely in her own den while Tani had moved to a den not too far off. A hollowed and dried turtle shell on a rope was grasped in her maw as she came to the pool by the falls.

She was well acquainted with the smells and sounds of the area, having been born here and grown up not too far from the falls. Though today another scent had the girl stopping. Her nose worked for a moment to sort out the scents. Earth, water, and wolves were the normal smells but another had stopped her. Jack having run into her hock with her sudden stop sent into a slew of curses at Tani's distraction. Her ear turned to it but the other was pricked.

Her own scent washing with herbs and with that of earthly things. Blindness didn't stop the girl, and she lowered the collection shell to the ground as she determined the scent to hold a smell that sang of illness. "Just for us yes?" she snorted at the voice in her ear. Of course it was a patient for her. How dense could the spirits be?

"Hello, would you like some help?" she sat where she was, uncertain the exact direction the holder of the scent was, so her voice was sent out to every part of the area. She would have to have the pour soul follow her back to her den, though it wasn't far. She was thankful she had set up a few nests of fur away from her own she had made. Having her sicker patients live with her until they were better was a smart idea to contain any kind of sickness outbreaks.

She waited for a response though as her hare moved forward and looked directly at the other wolf so they might understand Tani was talking to them.

Maybe they just needed some help out of this funk. They could admit they didn’t interact much with ethne compared to their own packmates when they were an alpha. That had been taken from them too and while they were thankful everyone was alive, except Mia button, there was a sheer crushing disappointment of their rank being stripped from them. Since when did they become the ambitious type?

Tanelans thoughts were interrupting when a wolf approached them. They could have sworn they’d seen them at a meeting but really didn’t know her name. They coughed trying to make is ease down before they spoke. "Sorry, yes if you would. Im Tanelan from Norad." surely the pack wolves in ethne had been briefed on their situation. Not that Tan minded explaining the harrowing events.
