She moved into the boneyard, ready to spar. Frank was close behind her and she had her vest and knife strapped on. Though she had no intention of using her knife today. Her lips held a grin and she moved quickly. Her head tossing back and a howl for a friendly spar sent out to the skies.

As she settled in the spot she leveled her head with her spine, rolled her shoulders and let her neck hair rise. This as well as she squared her legs with her body and let her tail gently wag behind her. There were nothing but brushing up on her skills in her mind today.

Alaric had never been to the boneyard before. When he arrived, a howl was sent out across the vast land. An invitation to spar, a friendly invitation by the sound of the tone. He lifted his head and release a response call, accepting the spar. Then, he made his way towards the direction the howl originated from. When he got there, he noticed his opponent and their companion. Surprisingly his opponent was far smaller than and armed. He gave her a friendly nod. "That was your call." He called out to her. He stepped forwards, closing the gap between them. "How do you want to do this?"

She was answered pretty quickly and a friendly nod was given to the male who answered. She didn't let her grin fall as he spoke and kept her demeanor friendly, wagging tail and all. "I'll start. No weapons are gonna be used since this is a friendly spar, teeth and claws are fine but no permanent damaging attacks. Names Bellatrix Ravenwood by the way. Ready?"[color] she leveled her head with her spine and flexed her toes into the dirt.

Once he agreed and said he was ready she nodded. It was then she decided to show him how fast she was. She darted for his left side her right shoulder aiming for his left side of his chest. She aimed to use her speed to help her hopefully unbalance him. Her jaws aiming to have a hold placed upon his neck on the left lower side. Since that was what she could reach. Frank remained in place watching until he might be needed.

Alaric listened closely to the younger wolfs words. No weapons, no permanent damage. His eyes gazed over at the reindeer, surely the beast would stay still during the fight? He turned his attention back to her, nodding to show he understood. "Alaric Warmaw." He introduced himself. It was uncommon for him to add his adoptive surname at the end of introductions. He just felt like doing so. "Alright, show me what you got."

In the time she took to get her defenses ready, Alaric also got his defenses ready. He widen his stance to keep his balance. His paws and claws dug into the earth for stability. His tail rose even with his spine for better balance too. He tucked his chin to protect vital organs and stood still. His eyes never left his opponent, even as Bellatrix charged at him.

Her combined weight and speed managed to knock him back a few inches however they failed to fully topple him to the ground. Alaric immediately rebalanced himself and noticed the dull pain from the impact of the shoulder where it had hit. However, he would quickly turned and tried to slam a paw down onto the upcoming maws that were set on the side of his neck. His goal was to slam his paw down onto the side of Bellatrix's face and push her head first to the ground. She was quite small in height and weight to him, so he was felt confident in his moves. Maybe his confidence would lead him to mess up? He doubted it. One may never know.

Find me where the wild things are She managed to swagger him which in and of itself was a win in her book. As she went to grip his neck with her maw she saw the paw coming and adjusted her own head. Her horn now aimed for the paw, he could chose to continue the trajectory or not, though he would end up with a sharp price in his paw if he continued this course of action. The battle wasn't hers yet though. She sought to swing her hips now, to angle her body and pinch her body and his against each other, aiming to keep his paw pinned and hopefully trip him with her shorter body now. Hopefully he would topple and end up in the dirt then they could maybe have a good laugh after this. After all how many shorty girls used their bodies to trip opponents. Frank moved finally, taking his chance to dash forward with his antlers down. Though he would be stopping before he hit the male, though only Trixy would really be able to read him hopefully that he had no intent on actually hitting them. Alaric noticed the horn aim for his paw almost immediately. It was a hard move to miss and out of instinct, he yanked his paw back safely out of the way. This time, the horn had completely missed his paw by mere inches. Quickly he set the paw down and tried to restablize himself. Now Alaric's orange eyes narrowed and he sought the scruff of the female. His black maws splayed open and attempted to grab the back of her scruff. Bellatrix was so tiny compared to him that it was within his grasp, even if he had to cock his head downwards in a slightly awkward position to grasp it.

However, this attack was shortly met with the slamming of Bellatrix's small body into his. She was trying to use her size to her advantage and trip him over. His ears perked to hear the sound of hooves, that damned reindeer was charging. His gaze shifted briefly to the reindeer and then to her. Fuck it. He decided he would fall backwards, but in the process he would try to take Bellatrix with him. His forearms wrapped around her and he attempted to pull her back with him as his body rolled backwards onto his spine. His plan was to use her as a living shield so to speak. Her tiny body was perfect for protecting more vital organs such as the stomach from being gored by the antlers. He thought this move might make the reindeer call the bluff and stop the charge altogether, resulting in no one getting hurt.
