beginning to the end Faolan was in a playful mood that morning. He was out and about, chasing after his brother and sister when they left the den after breakfast. Faolan made sure to not chase Ara too much, but rather gave her more affectionate nuzzles before doting on his parents. His tail wagged so fast, it was nothing but a long blur as he showed his love for each member of his family. With his level of affections shown to each one, Faolan told Silent and Bronze where he was going and off he went. The silvery-furred pup slipped through the familiar underbrush that separated the 'front yard' of their den site from the occupied forest that surrounded them. The foliage he had gotten past was now curling up and away from a small opening that had been made through it. It was now evidence that the pups slipped out and about through that brush whenever the urge to wander took hold. Faolan didn't mind it if his parents knew where he was going. As a matter of fact, it was a source of comfort and he kept it in his heart as he made his merry way to his destination. With bright emerald eyes - so much like Silent's, but getting lighter with each month - the five-month-old carried himself to a part of the woods that hadn't been touched by any wolf. It was a secluded area near the river, with a dry bank and a few trees whose branches hung low for protection of the rain. Their leaves were changing colors and Faolan's fascination in them drew him to this secluded piece of the world. He trekked lightly through the untouched foliage, leaving his scent on the smaller branches and leaves that brushed his fur. He looked around to see if there were others nearby. No one else was there. He let his guards down then and began to happily dance. Faolan danced on the tips of his toes, head arching up to try and nip at the colored leaves. His balance wasn't the best when he leaped from his hind legs, but he maintained it for a short time as his tippy toes kept him up. Faolan wasn't tall enough yet to reach the lowest branches, but the effort he was using made it all the more rewarding. Happy yips escaped his form, through his light lips and up into the air. If anyone happened to come across him in this secluded area, he would be surprised. Puppy Talk foreverFAOLAN ARADCOR |

She was supposed to be resting in her den, recovering from the illness that had left her crippled for the most part, but now Amalia was feeling slightly rebellious. With little coughs stopping her along the way, she slowly made exploration of the Seracian territory, learning her home as she figured her brothers had been. The russet-kissed child grinned brightly as she looked around, finding intrigue around every corner, discovering new things, and as it turned out, new people as well.
He seemed to be filled with happy noises, little yips that escaped into the air, and Amalia giggled at how very silly the older boy seemed. The small girl approached without hesitation, her extroverted personality demanding that she seek interaction. It was how she fueled herself, after all, and how she dealt with the illness that kept her chained down. "Whatcha doin?? she asked him, tilting her russet-kissed head to the side as she observed him curiously. Sapphire-liked orbs shone bright, the expression on her face curious about who she had just come across. So far she?d only really made conversation with her family, or others while her family were with her.
Today, this stranger would be the first pup outside of her brothers who Amalia would talk with. She was not nervous in any sense of the word, instead curious. What sort of fun did he know how to have? The little light-pelted girl wished to know! If he was having lots of fun doing something, she wanted to have lots of fun too! It only seemed fair!

beginning to the end His sense of security from the seclusion that surrounded him was definitely breached when he heard the words of another. Ears automatically perked and his attention was diverted from grabbing onto the ever changing colored leaves to the pup standing perpendicular to him. Faolan's balance became wobbly, so the male accidentally fell back onto his rump with a soft thump. Surrounding dust from the ground rose into furls around him, but they quickly faded with the brisk autumn air. The silver male didn't pay attention to the gentle throbbing in his hind legs as he rose from his seat to approach her. She was a pretty thing, that much was certain. At his age, however, Faolan's mind didn't delve into the detailed emotions that could come from noticing such features of the opposite gender. Instead, he was more excited about meeting another pup that didn't look like his siblings. He enjoyed varieties, and having that chance to meet others with different pelts and personalities brightened his small six-month world. Her frame was tiny, but that was all right. It was another positive observation on the boy's part. Light emerald green eyes twinkled with a merry light as he answered her question in mid-step. "Trying to grab those leaves," he reared his head to point his nose in the direction of the lowest branch. "They are too far, though, so I thought I would try getting them a different way than just standing on all fours." He turned his gaze back to the stranger in front of him. Faolan's nose twitched and he caught the familiar scent of two pups he had met earlier that fall. Maybe that would come up later. "I'm Faolan Aradcor. What's your name? And do you live in Serrrracia, too?" Puppy Talk foreverFAOLAN ARADCOR |
