Strengthening Ties

With the news of the Syndicate and the threats to all the packs, Kotori had taken time to consider his ties to other packs.  How long had it been since he’d been to Elyssium and worked on strengthening bonds?  He knew hardly any of the wolves he was willing to defend by request.  His lips twitched at the thought of any wolf fool enough to risk those Kotori chose to protect.  

He’d gotten clearance from Avacyn to visit and Kotori crossed the thin strip of a bridge onto Alias Island.  The bridge offered some excellent defense if ever needed.  It would be hard for enemy wolves to sneak in when it was one way in and one way out.  Kotori was in no rush, taking his time to look over the scenery and see who he met.  Would he run into Iki?  How would he feel about that?  He had his own Queen now but the memories of his time with Iki were still precious times he treasured in his mind.
