"speech" Cold…everything was so cold. Why? Why was it so cold? Winter…? The girl’s memory hazily seemed to recall. What was this winter? Was it something to fear? Was it something natural? Or was it some sort of monstrous being? Teal hued eyes danced to and fro as the she-wolf tried to take in her surroundings. Water. Rocks. Snow. All were words that clicked in her brain but for some reason also felt completely foreign to her at the same time. Wait…where was she? As the girl’s vision began to clear she realized she couldn’t remember where she was. Slowly, her chocolate and cream body stood up - stumbling a bit as a wave of dizziness washed over her. Simultaneously, she winced as it felt as though her head had been struck by lightning…yet another phrase that she understood but also felt somewhat foreign. Curious, she ventured a glimpse of herself in the nearest puddle and she saw a bit of crimson staining her fur. Blood. Eyes then ventured to the rocks surrounding her. Had she fallen and hurt herself? Was that why she couldn’t remember anything? Why had she fallen? Was it a mere accident or was there something more sinister that happened? Many questions swirled within Isara’s pounding head, but despite her desire to know the answers she could only grasp at faint memories that became ghostly and intangible once she gained even the slightest bit of handle on them. With nobody nearby that she knew of, she highly doubted that she’d even get her answers from staying here though. Perhaps it was time to move on to another location…but where? |
Trigedasleng is based off of phonetic english/english slang. Feel free to have your character infer/realize what certain words mean if you'd like!
Powerplay that does not result in major injury or death is okay. Otherwise please ask.

It was rare that Jay go this far from home, but today was an exception to that rule. Usually she liked to stay within a quick sprint from home, just in case something went wrong... her parents were getting older, an ever-looming thought in her mind, though that wasn't the only reason she didn't like going far from home. Though she hadn't been quite old enough to participate in the last raid against Avalon, she remembered how it made her feel - a little helpless, and afraid - and now that she was older she didn't want to feel that way again. At her core, Jay was a protector; she didn't ever want to be so far away that she couldn't protect her family or packmates. Never again.
Surely a short trip away from home wouldn't align with such a disaster though. She was much too far to hear a call from home if one came, so she'd just have to push those worries from her mind as she made her way south.
Jay had never seen anything quite like this fjord before. The steep cliffs were dotted with snow, which seemed to grow more sparse toward the water. Navigating slowly down the somewhat treacherous slope, she slowed her steady pace only when the faint smell of blood hit her nose. Ears swiveled as she searched for anything she ought to be aware of, but she heard nothing out of the ordinary.
Up ahead she saw the female's figure, mottled brown and white, difficult to discern from amongst the rocks and dirt and scattered snow. Letting out a friendly bark, making sure her posture was nonthreatening, she headed toward her slowly. "Hello! Are you okay? I smelled blood," she called out to the stranger, wondering if she could be of any assistance. She was no healer, but maybe she could help her anyway.
