After closing her eyes briefly, she embraced the peaceful atmosphere around her, interrupted only by the gentle waves caressing the shoreline. The wind gently tousled her coat, causing a smile to form on her face. Her ears perked up, catching the various sounds carried on the breeze. Sitting back on her hind legs, she began to sketch in the sand, watching as each stroke was quickly erased by the tide.
She stood up and walked into the water, observing the shimmer as it danced along her paws and lower legs. A gentle laugh escaped her lips as she enjoyed the moment, feeling content. However, her peaceful state was interrupted when she caught a whiff of another presence nearby, causing her to startle. She offered a quick and friendly greeting in response. "Greetings stranger." As her voice floated on the breeze to an unfamiliar passerby, a smile slowly crept across her face.

his legs carried him where the sand met ocean water-, a beautiful scenery that he ultimately did not expect. and in it with him, stood a lithe female who seemed to be enjoying herself. from afar, his brows wanted to furrow- as if angry that she looked so carefree and happy. but he caught himself, willing to take off his brooding mask for just a day so that he too.. could feel the warmth of the sun on his face.
he presses on until he's in her aura, slowing his pace as he met her head on. in a way, the woman was plain in her yellow dress. but her energy was refreshing. erebos was not met with a sneer, nor a rumble of disdain. in fact-, she looked happy to see him. when did that ever happen? upon closer examination, erebos found her to be a simplistic beauty; draped in a blonde pelt with white accents and vibrant emerald orbits.
intrigued, he stepped in the water, as if following her lead. he kept some feet away as he let the water wash & lap over his large paws. and in that moment, he sighed, binary eyes coming to kiss her own evergreen pools with a newfound ease. "Greetings." naturally, a smile began to seize at his inky lips- giving way to his dimples. there was silent and calming air between the two. one that began to satisfy him, internally. "Érebos. And you?" he turned to her, awaiting with peaceful patience.

they both were in the water, but she stood further in. enticing him forward, he stepped a few feet nearer to her side. the way she spoke his name made his body relax; setting deeper ease into his taut muscles. as she offered her own name, he was somehow not taken aback by her rather formal calling. identification. he thought on it, and wondered why she was given it. nonetheless, he took it & made it noteworthy, pondering of their next meeting because he intended to see her again.
she spoke as if they did not reside within the same space. her perspectives felt whimsical and unrealistic-, refreshing and awkward to his stark rigidity. truly, these two were opposites in the flesh. "I rather not.." he admitted. not even sure of the meaning. he took on too serious of a role in life to play. but.. no one else was near, right? he looked about, as if checking before turning to her. "How does one's inner child come out to play?," he nearly whispered over the sound of soft ocean waves that foamed at his chest. rather large, the water did not drown him out like it might've done her. "please be careful." he could not help but be doting, his strong urge to protect her seeping out through his aura.

He was different, though. She was now set out and show him how to relax and play and have fun. Twin peaks shifted forward upon her cranium as listening to his tones. Does he really not know how to play, and allow his inner child out? A soft giggle released from her maw. Yes, it was time. She spoke out. "Well first dear Erebos, you first relax. Allow yourself time to enjoy everything around you. Don't be so uptight all the time." She whispered in a light reply. Poor guy was tense and uptight.
Fic seemed to dance with the waves, going the way they went into shore, dipping her skull down only to bring her one paw up out of the foot of water to splash the liquid at the rugged male. Dancing upon her paws playfully. "It's not hard, just listen to your heart!" Stating a little louder, as she raced a few feet away from him, grabbing a shell and tossing it into the air, spinning around and watching it land peacefully into the sand.
Finding herself once again trotting over to him, nudging his thick nape before giving a soft nip at his muzzle. Edging him to come play, it was the only way she known how to show him.

her influence was significant-, the effect of her washing over him without yield. she turned his world bright and colorful while instilling within him a peace that could be shared. was this 'letting loose'? intrigued, he wanted more. 'don't be so uptight all the time'. he gave a deep breath in then out, visibly letting the steam of stress dissipate out. he gave himself permission to relax. "like this?" he asked with a deep voice, head tilting in question.
his face relaxed, his inky lips pulling into a soft smile as he watched her dance in play. a wondrous sight that still confused him. she seemed to create her happiness out of nothing. as if she saw color where he could not. erebos was determined to learn. she truly began to open him up- a thing no one had done yet.
she came to touch his nape, nudging him and giving a playful nip that encouraged him to join. thus the brute leaped forward, making a large splash as he gave his own unforced laugh; a rather deep cackle that vibrated from his chest. he swam further in now, aiming to meet identification closely as he caught his breath. "This feels.. good," he panted.
erebos was here with her, in this moment. where peace and harmony engulfed them whole.

This moment in time seemed to freeze even for the smallest of seconds, witnessing the stress melt away from Erebos so genuinely it wasn't hard to mistake his entire body become relaxed. It wasn't hard to spot within his sky and chocolate pools. It was truly lovely. Nodding tenderly to him, as if stating a greatful and simple Yes, just like that. She smiled.
Tonight she was allowed to witness such a sight of a once uptight masculine become carefree and allowed for possible the first time ever to enjoy everything around him. Life wasn't easy on him, anyone could see that. But tonight - they would both enjoy each others company.
Water from the ocean sprayed her, giving her own much smaller splash to him, a loud but soft laugh errupted from her deep within. Her tail dancing around causing water to dance and spray all around, this moment would last a long time with the woman. "See Mr. Boss. Anyone can relax and enjoy life and the little things." The nickname was brought out of no where. Surprising herself.
Peace and harmony was something that was shared with the duo. A time that could not be stolen from them, she once more dipped down and rose her muzzle quickly to make a splash form around the both of them. The moon now claiming it's full throne in the skies. Identification did not want tonight to end, even though they had about six hours remaining before the sun would begin to rise.
Shaking the thought from her head, she wouldn't allow that to steal her from right here and now. No, not at all..

they spent hours together. spending the night around one another and bonding so. she was a genuine woman and a kind one. so many things other women in his were not. where could he keep this goodness? it must remain hidden from the world, he thought. the urge to captivate it and lock it away for himself flared, but he remained composed. reminding himself to pace his whims.
he looked back at the shore then at her emerald eyes, a hint of concern in them. "I must go for now. My duties await me." he sighed, hoping she would take no offense in his abrupt departure. turning, he began to swim to the sand. emerging out, his fur slicked back to reveal his muscular body, his ends seeping water. he turned for only a brief moment, looking back at identification with a longing glare before speaking, "I hope to see you again." and with that-, he trailed off, back to insomnia and to the tending of widow later.

Should she deny him to leave. She couldn't, Identification known that. They lived seperate lives, she felt upset sure she did. Looking to his own gaze, locking with him as she trotted out of the waves, the sun rising slowly up over the horizon.
"Will I see you again?" Fic blushed, she did want to see him again. Longed that this wouldn't be their only meeting. Dipping her head to him as he moved back the way he entered from. Her heart wanted to race after him, plead with him not to go. But she couldn't.
