after investigating the snack table with Ig, Spider leaves the little slave to mingle and wanders off by themselves, gait still unsteady from their earlier indulgence. the food had helped soak some of the alcohol up, but that light-headedness has yet to completely leave them. but whereas before the drink had put them in a sullen mood, a new giddy sheen has descended upon the gathering, casting everything in a strangely amusing light. Spider finds themselves fighting a giggle as they push through the crowd, lips quivering with suppressed laughter. it probably makes for a bit for an odd sight, but it’s highly preferable to their earlier melancholy.
