Alaric was in the boneyard with Maul. The two were in search of a sparring partner, but Alaric had yet to send out the call. He was inspecting the bones currently, looking them over with a curious gaze. How did so many get here? He'd never stop to smell the metaphorical roses before. Maul was trying to chew on one of them, to which Alaric rolled his eyes in a somewhat loving manner. It seemed the cane corso was wiggling it's way into his cold, apathetic, heart. He felt a little less alone with the beast nearby. A little less...lonely.

Atreyu wasn't sure what to make of the bonfire festival she had attended, from her understanding, it was meant to be a peaceful affair. No sooner than she had placed a small bundle of herbs on the pyre to pay her respects to all those in her home pack that had passed after the betrayal and attack. The alpha that had nearly wiped out her old pack was still out there, and as the new matriarch of what was left, it was up to Atreyu to find any like him and destroy them. She had to make her new home a safe one. For her loved ones.

Traveling from the Starlit Plains, where the bonfire brawl had been, to the Boneyard. She managed to avoid pack territories along the way, not willing to risk trespassing at the expense of adventure. This place looked almost familiar, giving Atreyu a sense that she had been there before even though she had never stepped foot there. Her paws were silently cupping the earth as she walked, though the light, bell-like jingling of her bangles would give her away. Her collar was firmly in place, and the pink leather adorned with one-inch spikes helped her feel a bit more protected as she walked through the bones littered here. A darker wolf might have loved it here, but Atreyu could feel only reverence. There was something else there too, not fear exactly, but caution.

Moving along, those unique eyes of hers landed on another. This one had a massive dog with him and she was close enough to see the loving eye roll the stranger gave to the dog chewing on some of the bones. These bones belonged to the dead, and while the owner of them felt nothing, maybe their loved ones still came here to grieve and mourn him. Some creatures, like elephants, used these places as graveyards. There was a bit of outrage in those mercurial lavender eyes, black sclera making the holographic nature of her iris stand out that much more. She said nothing yet, simply watching the interaction between the two for a moment. Atreyu wasn't sure what she was waiting for, but she would know once the time came. Her face was a stoic mask that showed not one iota of her inner seething, but her eyes held all the outrage she felt.

Open your wings, Evil Angel!
'Thinking.' || "Talking." || 'Hearing.'

Atreyu can be rated M or X, not always, but expect it to pop up.
Her companion, Bigs, is assumed to be with her unless otherwise mentioned.
As her betrothed, Azriel is allowed in any of her threads, regardless of tag or label.

Alaric cared not for the dead. He cared for the reverence of it all, the ceremony, the afterlife. No, such thoughts of a potential god or afterlife would filled him with a bitter rage. He was once a devout man, a devotee to the God named Ohros. Then, his small village was attacked. He was enslaved. And Ohros was nowhere to be found. He prayed for years as a child for the God to free him, to help him, for his family to return and free him from his chains. Nothing ever came of it. So when he was old enough and strong enough, he killed his slave master Oberyn when the man's back was turned. He cursed the skies and the Gods shortly after, vowing to never worship or bow to another again. Not God nor mortal. Only himself. He was deep in reminiscing when the sound of another snapped him out of the flashing memories and the rage that had temporarily surfaced due to them.

This stranger was watching them. Although her face was calm, Alaric could see the rage in her eyes. What was she so angry about? He cocked an eyebrow and called out to her. "Do we have a problem here?" He asked the girl, flicking his tail. He couldn't quite grasp why someone he never met before was gazing at him with such anger. Especially in a place like this. He looked over to Maul, who had stopped chewing and was simply staring down at the stranger in a protective gaze.
