The northern winds viciously threw flurries, blasting his ivory pelt, forcing him into the caverns, forcing him away from the bitter winds. The horrible weather didn't help his horrible mood, not in the least, snarls and curses flew from his maw with every step he took and he moved into the caverns. Shaking himself violently, water repelled from his coat, and he moved deeper into the cave, low curses leaving his jaws. A snarl decorated his jaws, hackles raised, his temper seethed, as he lazily followed the scent of another deeper and deeper into the folds of the cave.

His mind raced, red clouding his vision. He couldn't even remember the source of his foul mood, where it all began. A hissed sigh left his jaws, the air forced between his clenched teeth, fury radiating from his every pore, his bodice nearly shaking with the source of it. He hadn't been this angry, this blind-fully rageful in such a long time. To a lesser creature it would be terrifying, but to one like he, it was a feeling he welcomed with near open paws, near open jaws. It was an amazing feeling, it awakened it. Fury. Rage. Anger. Hatred. Only a severely unlucky creature would come across him at this moment, and that creature would pay. The scent he had been following, led him deeper into the winding tunnels, where the walls of the cave narrowed, biting into his pelt, the pain releasing endorphin's, that almost relaxed him, though they did nothing to ease the snarls that slipped from his jaws.

Argent was ready to run; and yet she couldn?t help but step foot in the North one last time, the last time for what would be months. Perhaps it was foolish of her; the pregnant woman needed to get to her intended destination, to run now and worry later, and yet she couldn?t help herself. She dared not to venture near Glaciem, but she could swear she smelled the sweet scent of her children, and her heart throbbed. She thought of Glaciem as she limped into the caverns, ready to settle down for the night. Her toes ached fiercely from too much travel, and so the silver knight picked up her foot. She missed Isardis, missed Eris, missed the presence of a warm body when she slept, the feeling of duty coursing through her veins.

And yet, this was her bed, this was the fate she?d created for herself, and there was nothing else she could do. She would be damned if she let these children be killed, a fate that would certainly befall them if Isardis knew of their existences. Perhaps many would call her heartless, but the black-smeared woman could never hurt her children, out in the world or not. Being separated from her brood with Isardis stung fiercely, just as she knew it would sting as badly to be separated from these children when they were born and transported to Tortuga, but there was nothing Argent could do about it.
They would have a much better life with Taurig than they ever would with her.
She did not pay mind to her surroundings, too caught up in her own thoughts, too preoccupied by her own musings and heartbreak to worry over the lingering presence that she was unknowingly walking by.

"But she was a princess all the same - feminine,"

Perhaps it would be his lucky day, that the elusive scent of a dame filtered through his nostrils, the scent carrying to the very fiber of his being. Perfect. The light here was dim at best, but he could just make out the fine detailed shadow of the dame who's smell had captured his interest so. She didn't seem to notice the danger she was in, or his lurking presence. A snicker left him, rumbling from deep within his chest. Stepping from the realm of the shadows, he would move towards her, his ivory hue illuminated in the dim cavern light. His pace would be confident, easy going as he moved towards her, his head high, hackles raised, exposing the delicate ivories that had delivered so much fate before.

"Well, well, what do we have here?" He nearly purred, his tone sultry, easily flowing from his maw, kissing into the dark cave. "What an interesting position you seem to have found yourself in, my sweet..." A sliver of laughter peeled from his jaws, sinister and dark in nature. He was going to enjoy this, waiting for her response, his shoulders rolled back, as he stood relaxed, his plume hanging gently at his hocks.

The voice made her jump, paranoid, ears pinning back and lips picking up to reveal deadly teeth. Once, she had stolen eyes and ripped through flesh, and those days were not long behind her. There was still a light in her eyes, a fire yet to be washed away, and the silver knight?s hackles raised in defiance. And yet she was weary, afraid of too much strain upon the life in her womb. She remembered the lost first litter, the strain battle had put upon it, and she refused to face such a pain again. Argent would not be in these children?s lives, but it would make her feel better to know that they were living happy, wholesome lives. "I?m just walking," she snarked back, tail wavering dangerously behind her.
She felt vulnerable, exposed, and she did not like it. For so long the crown upon her head had fueled her, granted her power, and now what was she? A traitor, a whore, little more than a rogue. It was dangerous to be alone, and she knew it now more than ever. Her heart pounded heavily with fear, uncertainty.
