Lately, Melanth had been allowing Helonia full access since their interaction with Absinth. The situation didn’t do much to ease her anxiety; but, they’d made some sort of breakthrough. A probationary period to which was given to Mel to gain their sister’s trust. Something she took with a grain of hope. Not wanting to be overly optimistic about a future she knew held no true value. Until proven otherwise.

With Helonia resting after their last encounter ending in a tiresome rendezvous. Memories of a certain violet male flashing like lights before her eyes coming to life. Melanth decided it was time to focus on more important things. Such as finally getting to the knowledge of this place herbal collections and remedies.

Dainty, soft paws wandered over the softened snowy landscape. Such beauty of this area nearly took her breath away. The hovering branches, which curved down as if weighed by life itself, displayed before her. Their tendril like leaves swaying in the winter’s warming breeze. Spring clearly coming soon from the sun’s high placement in position above. Reflecting the entire tundra in various colors.

Mela took her time observing the area. Nose checking to see if any other were hiding about. And when none came to, a smile claimed her lips. Allowing her gaze to sweep along the grounds in hopes of finding certain items to create a durable satchel. It would start the beginning of a long process. Collecting, gathering, and organizing a perfect den to store all of her possessions. This just so happen to be a perfect time because Helonia was sleeping somewhere in the depths of their mind.

How lucky was she?

A soft hum came to be heard. Using a paw to dig at the small huddles of melting frost to find fallen, bendable twigs. Which she took for braiding later on. Some vines coiled around a few closer branches that soon were added. Though, they did not go without a fight. Tugging quite viciously in order to snap them free from their hold.

Somewhere in the distance, maybe in the current tree she was working on, a familiar sound reached her ears. Their pointed positions now seemed more alert. Than their recent relaxed posture. Could it be? She sworn Rakia killed her old crow friend. Yet, there she was, now coming eye to eye with those two dark black holes. Once more swallowing her into them.

Well. Well. Well.

Absinth followed her ravens with purpose, her eyes narrowed and her steps deliberate. The familiar caws of the birds were a constant, comforting reminder of her own cunning and the network she had built. Now it included the ravens of her children, and more she had been raising. Though not omnipotent, they served the uses she asked of them.

Why was she here today? She had warned this sister of her’s, to prove she was true about simply wishing to reconnect. As she approached, the sight of Melanth moving through the landscape caught her attention. The delicate, almost hesitant movements of her sister seemed out of place compared to what she had witnessed of her at the Syndicate border before.

The ravens circled above, their cries growing louder as they signaled her presence. But she sent them away, opting for a quiet approach instead. Absinth smirked, her cold, calculating mind already working through the implications of this moment. It seemed… The other, the Helonia persona, was not in control. How long did that last? When did the switch occur? Absinth’s mind held all sorts of questions at that moment. She itched to know the how, the why, the when.

“Melanth.” Absinth's voice called out as she took in the scent before her, her roguish voice carried a hint of mockery, “Oh sister mine, a crow?” She stepped closer, her gaze never wavering from her sister's form. “The smaller corvid sister to my ravens.” Though she was less than friendly, she was much more amicable now that she was not pregnant and ridden with hormones.

Absi is a mature character. She's very vulgar and volatile. Discretion advised.

The quietness stretched like the never ending flow of a river. Filling the space between that of she and the crow. Whose focus did not once waver from the monochromatic woman. It brought about a smile to curve the structure of her black lips. Gaze beginning to waver as another’s scent invaded her captured senses. One that was familiar; yet, distant within that of her memory.

She’d been told that she would be sought out when she was ready. This didn’t occur to her that it would be anytime soon. As blood liquid eyes drew upward to cast their visual on Absinthe. That expression she once wore now dropped from view. Observing the difference in their appearance. Where Melanth was curvaceous, slender and toned, Absinth held muscle, scars and a balanced body. Clear sign as to who was the oldest between them.

"Ah. Isn’t that quite… interesting.”" Her attention flew t’wards the lingering ravens who’d taken refuge within the trees. Behind her own, several crows had gathered on the opposite end. The one she’d been staring at now perched a single shoulder. "What brings you all this way, dear sister?"
