The wedding had passed and Sparrow had manifested the two of them some privacy. The cool nothingness stretching beyond now that Sparrow wasn't concentrating on making a setting. She let her mind rest a bit and flopped down on whatever ground there was. She turned to Recluse- her wife- and opened her arms. "How does it feel to be a newlywed again?" she asked, a smile murmuring on her lips. "All of my girlfriends are gonna be so jealous, you know..." By all of her girlfriends, she meant all zero of them. There should have been more. She was a catch, damn it. But there was only one wife. Wife... Sparrow couldn't quit smiling over the thought of it. Her, married, and to a ghost no less.

Recluse felt like she was floating... Okay well she didn't exactly feel like her paws connected with the ground quite right anymore but it was a turn of phrase. As the pair drifted away from the wedding Recluse found herself almost doubting that any of this had been real. Though considering she was pretty sure she was dead reality was probably not really her worry anymore. As Sparrow flopped onto the ground and beckoned Recluse easily moved herself into her wife's (wife!) embrace. "I think I liked it even better the second time." Recluse grinned up at Sparrow and she smirked. "Much less stressful when you don't need to do any planning." She was teasing of course. Recluse had been riding a high since basically the moment she'd been pulled into wakefulness. She leaned up to gently kiss her wife's (wife!) cheek, almost shyly, like they hadn't done things much more intimate than that before. "Damn right they will." Recluse did not press on any details, on if Sparrow actually had any partners in life or not. Recluse's first marriage had been open and considering her state she had no intentions of keeping Sparrow to herself. Any woman would be lucky to have her. But that was not what she wanted to focus on now, all she wanted right now was to keep her joy going. All she wanted was to hold and be held by her wife... Her Wife! "Right now, you're all mine!" More primal desires weren't typical when awake, she was never hungry, never thirsty, never even felt pain. But as if on cue she felt something quite familiar indeed. "Poisons" & Venoms

Recluse- Sparrow's wife- settled into Sparrow's embrace and said she liked her wedding better the second time, which earned a satisfied hum from Sparrow's chest. Sparrow cobbed her wife's cheek affectionately as she joked about it being easier when you didn't have to be the one to plan. The wife, Sparrow's wife, kissed her softly on the cheek and the larger woman murmured sweet nothings into her fur. There wasn't exactly the weight or warmth of being alive, but it was definitely warm. It was the half degree separated feeling Sparrow had often felt with substance use and she knew how to navigate it well enough. Recluse (The Wife!) mentioned that Sparrow was all hers and the pirate king chuckled and pulled the pale woman closer, the ethereal quality of their bodies meshing. Sparrow pivoted, pulling her wife Recluse to lay above her, chest to chest. She alternated between soft gazes and lavishing the woman- her wife- with kisses and words of adoration. "Right now, in both life and death, you're all I need," she mumbled sappily, rocking Recluse up so she could give her neck some soft attention, pushing down the memories of it ripped open and bloodied. That wasn't her reality now. This was: tender kisses and her wife above her, undivided attention in their love for one another.

Recluse wanted to pull herself closer, wanted the feeling of not quite touching fully to go away. Wanted it to feel as real as touch had been in her memory. Wanted it for Sparrow more than even herself.  But not even this could put a damper on her mood. Recluse giggled softly as Sparrow reacted to her teasing and couldn't help but lean into the woman's touch, wherever she was brushed by breath or lips or anything else felt pleasantly warm, like a fire was slowly moving through Recluse. And she couldn't say she disliked the position Sparrow manoeuvred them into, gazing down as her wife with a playful grin. The words Sparrow, her wife, spoke were like a bolt of lightning, for a moment Recluse felt more real than she had in a long time, felt like for the briefest of moments the strange force that lay thinly between them was gone. But it was hard to focus on that with the way Sparrow had pushed her muzzle into her neck. A soft murmur escaping Recluse, a sound of desire and enjoyment. Recluse leaned forwards, brushing her lips close to her wife's ear, her voice breathy when she spoke: "I want to give you everything." Her tone wasn't exactly subtle and she nibbled at her wife's ear. "Poisons" & Venoms

Sparrow would have been happy to remain there under Recluse for eternity, and maybe one day she would, but right now she was racing against the clock that would inevitably pull her away. The cursed thing was living in a world without your wife (her wife!) because your wife was actually a dead ghost that you somehow visited in the not quite afterlife. Pulling herself back into the current reality, Sparrow smiled against the warmth of Recluse. She wrapped her paws around the women- her woman- and when she said she'd give Sparrow everything, the behemoth couldn't help herself. "Then I will take everything," she said, a challenging tilt into her otherwise love-dripped words. She shifted under the ghostly woman, prepared for everything. -- FADE --

How euphoric to feel so wanted, to have gotten married. Recluse was torn between wanting to spend the rest of eternity with her wife (Her wife!) and knowing that would require Sparrow's own passing and she wanted nothing but for the woman to thrive. Wrapped up in Sparrow's embrace Recluse could only feel joy. Well maybe not only. Recluse chuckled as Sparrow seemed to accept the challenge, offering her own in return. She grinned at her wife. "Think you can handle it?" She was teasing a little bit, maybe. But then she shifted slightly, preparing to offer her wife... Everything. -Fade- "Poisons" & Venoms
