He had yet to decide on whether or not he'd join up with his father, return to the Raiders, or go elsewhere. Truth be told, he was likely a more solitary beast, but he hadn't been alone long enough to really figure that out. He walked beside the river, listening to its rushing waters as he contemplated life. He wasn't quite sure what to do just yet, but he supposed he had time to figure it out. It's not like he had anything important to work toward...or did he? He snorted. Probably not. He was driven, but his ambition was lacking. He didn't know what he wanted. Which honestly, only angered him more. He needed a goal...he needed something. He just didn't know what that something was yet.
Focused on the sight and sound of the river, he wasn't aware that he was encroaching on the path of a rather big bull moose. At least, it wasn't until he heard an angry snort and the sudden pounding on the ground. Looking up, his eyes widened as he suddenly (and barely) dodged to the side, paws splashing in the water as the panicked split decision forced him to jump the wrong way. The bull moose had charged him without warning, and of course he was alone for the time being since his dogs had gone off to find a meal. Snarling, he whirled around to face the beast, crimson bristles on end and his teeth bared. There was absolutely no way he'd be getting away from this uninjured...or worse. Not on his own, at least.

Spotting a large male moose and than a greyish black male with blood hued hair, staying hidden within the tall grasses and cattails, it did little to no good keeping her hidden. However she needed to help. Not that it was really needed. She wanted too. Her lips curling up into snarls as cotton candy pools locked onto the moose. Her eyes widen as witnessing the male move out of the water, causing water to splash. That's when the woman snarled coming closer into the line of veiw of the beast to give the male some time to gather his baring's. "Are you alright?" She spoke never letting her attention completely leave the angry moose. Knowing that one wrong move could seriously harm the duo.

she heard them, but she saw them prior. the duo that found themselves blissfully unaware of Soleste's watchful eye. she spotted the moose before they all did but she didn't help. no, no.. she waited to see it unfold as she watched the beast of a man find himself at a mercy she could buy in. another girl, dark and pretty joins him as they keep tabs on the herbivore. save them both? tsk.. but
her arms sprawled as she shot into the air, interjecting the moose in their trail as she latched on with a robust collide. a crazed cackle leaving her maw as she rode the angry thing. it bucked and kicked but she was unmovable, staggering it while it slowed some. "first one to knock it down gets to keep it's skin!" she laughed, chin rising up in the air as she continued to hold onto the moose's nape, her tufted fur wavering in the wind like a high rider goddess in battle. excited by the thought of danger.

Crimson gaze remained on the angry bull moose as it cornered him against the water. He had nowhere to go unless he wanted to go for a swim, and he hated the water! He snarled and snapped as he squared off with the moose, but before he knew it, someone had arrived. A stranger to him of course. Asking if he was alright. He lifted his lip in a snarl, "Tch," Of course it would be his luck that a girl would be coming to his rescue! How embarrassing! Before he could answer further, however, the moose kicked up its forelegs and threatened him, forcing Diablo to startle as he snarled again. Well this was fucking great, wasn't it? Not only was he being bullied by a goddamn moose, but there was a witness to it as well. If there was one of many things he hated, it was being saved by a girl! Gods if his sister were here, he'd never hear the end of it, he was sure.
As he hurried to gather himself, a sudden burst from the grasses behind the moose gave way to yet another girl as she leapt atop its back, causing it to start bucking and kicking as it sought to try and throw her off. He was surprised to say the least, but also even more irritated than he was before. Not just one, but two girls now? Ugh! But it was the words of the second girl that brought up a growl, along with the now added challenge of trying to bring the damn thing down while it bucked and kicked! Still, she had managed to bring it to slow down, so perhaps he could work that in his favor.
The midnight male circled around the other side of the moose, opposite of the first girl as he waited for an opening. Once the moose stopped struggling for a moment as it tried to catch its breath, that's when he lunged. Diablo rushed in, teeth closing around a hind leg as he sought to drag it out from beneath the beast. If he could force it to lose its balance and bring it down, that would be all the better! He briefly let go, grabbing onto it with a hand. "Grab the other leg!" He yelled to Mae as he did his best to overextend the leg he had in his grip. An idea struck him then, as the moose tried to kick out rather unsuccessfully. He was close enough to its exposed stomach. So naturally, he uttered a savage snarl as he threw himself upward, his horns and sharp bristles gouging its tender flesh in an effort to cause as much damage as he could and bring the damn thing down as quickly as possible. Its hooves clipped him a few times, but a small price to pay for an even bigger reward!
He could feel the warmth of its blood seep slowly at first over his head, and the more he tore with horn, tooth, and claw, he could feel it quickly build and the warmth of it would pour over him, practically bathing him in it. The stench of blood, guts, and gore permeated the air and filled his nostrils which only fueled him further. It had been far too long since he had torn something apart in such a manner, and all the past rage only fueled him further. His past frustrations with his father. His life. Everything that he had been carrying on his shoulders, he was taking out on the bull. At this moment, nothing else mattered. He had even forgotten about the two others that had come to his rescue (though he would never admit that!) While they did what they needed to do to bring this stubborn beast down, he would relentlessly keep up his attack from underneath. Already he could tell it was about to go down, its strength waning and its legs shuddering as he kept at it.
As much as he would never admit it, he knew the work of the other two girls helping him was definitely helping a great deal. He was neither a strong fighter nor a strong hunter (again, not that he'd ever admit that), so he was begrudgingly grateful for their appearance. Of course, should anyone ask, he had brought the damn thing down all on his own. If his father found out he couldn't even manage this, he was sure he'd be an even bigger disappointment than he already was. Of course, he had no idea how difficult it was to bring down a moose by yourself.
