She was a yearling now, and the world was now her oyster! No longer did she have to wait for her mother or father to take her places, but she was free to go where she wished on her own! While her sister was more introverted, Avalon was eager to go out and about and meet others. Make new friends. Learn more things! She had been afraid for so long to stray too far from her parents, especially with her father having been sick for some time, but he was on the mend and her mother had said he would recover. Though she had been hesitant at first, she knew the inevitable would happen someday, and it took a lot of convincing from both of her parents to get her to live how she saw fit and to just...get out there. They hadn't meant to hinder her, but she just didn't feel right doing as she pleased when she hadn't been sure if her father would pull through or not. Now that things felt safe enough for her, she found herself wandering around the perimeter of the castle lands, occasionally peering beyond the pack lines, curious to know what else was out there beyond the safety of the pack. Perhaps someday soon she would find the courage to go out there, but for now she was content exploring and discovering the secrets that The Hallows lands had to offer. "Speech"

Lately Sota was beginning to feel more and more his age. His stiff joints in the morning weren't helped by the chilly weather that had settled over Auster, though usually by midday he had stretched enough so that it wasn't quite as noticeable. Today in particular was a comfortable day, at least compared to the normal soggy ones they endured as of late; the sun was just beginning to peek out from behind fading rain clouds, and the warmth was invigorating to the old wolf. He too was out wandering near the edge of the castle. A walk would do him good, and he was glad to partake in something as simple as patrolling the castle borders. A content sigh fell from the tiny man's lips as he walked, rounding a corner and noticing someone up ahead. It was one of The Hallows yearlings, a wolf he hadn't had the privilege of getting to know yet. Of course he knew her name though - if Sota was anything, it was observant. A smile touched his lips as he picked up his pace slightly, aiming to intercept the young wolf's path and hopefully join her for a moment. "Avalon, isn't it? Lovely day for a walk, I was thinking the same," he chatted idly.
