Her best behavior. Not a move or word out of line, especially when away from home. Sitting still was the worst punishment anyone could think of for Selene. She couldn't not move! Her tail wiggled in the seat, her shoulders wiggled in the seat, and her paws wiggled as her parents said something ooey-gooey together.

Finally! When everyone was done being boring in their seats little Selene dashed onward to follow the crowd to file into the... Castle!

Her pink eyes roved over the stones and walls! She walked a few steps away from the throng entering the castle. Was that a curly climbing plant? It climbed up the walls so high! Wow! Was that a statue? She nosed around a stone wolf statue but then heard her name being called from the entry. What was it like inside? She dashed her way back to the line of people, her eyes still drinking in the tall towers when suddenly she felt herself crash against a soft body and she scrambled backward.

"Oh! Sorry sorry!" She quickly exclaimed! Bright orange fur filled her gaze as she looked up at the chocolate and orange pup. Who was this? She jumped up and play bowed!
"Hi! Do you live here?" She asked with exuberant excitement.

There will come a soldier He had sat through the boring ceremony, done everything he was asked and was waiting patiently. He was following his mom and Uncle Art into the castle for the thing they kept calling a reception when his hocks buckled from a weight crashing into him. A yelp of surprise came from him, causing a croak to be heard from the sky and he turned a glare back to the offender. Only he was met with a white and blue furred girl, about his size. Maybe smaller, if he was honest. She was tiny like Sprig. Hopefully she wasn't as delicate, he liked his sister just fine and heck he would bite someone who picked on her, but she looked much to delicate to play like Titus and the boys of his litter. Her words of apology had him shaking off the glare and a grin meeting her in moments. "No worries, takes more than that to take out a Carpathian." a look was thrown back towards his mom, a silent question, could he now? He just wanted to meet the other pups. Maybe find a playmate his age that wasn't so worried about hurting each other. And after she gave him a smile and a nod a silent celebration was given. Finally! He would definitely start with this one. Turning his head back to her he gave a little bounce and easily returned her play bow. Her question had him nodding enthusiasticly. "Titus Carpathias! And that's Andrei up there! What's your name?" his tail stood tall and a wag to it as he grinned ear to ear. Best behavior given to her like his mom had asked. Manners first then he could definitely play with her! He indicated to Andrei the white raven as he introduced his bird. The bird was key to him being allowed to go anywhere he liked. Mom said he could go anywhere inside the pack territories as long as he had Andrei or took Bishop with him. Easy peasy. "Wanna see the castle? I could show you around! As long as we take Andrei i could totally show you the Grove or the plains too!" make friend with her, easy. Then he could definitely make friends and show the other pups that had come with her around too! He could have so many friends and his siblings would be so jealous! But ya snooze on the friends and ya lose! Walk, "Talk", Think He will slay you with His tongue He will tear your city down

A Carpathian! What a title! She paused her wiggling tail into an easy soft wag while she watched him silently check in with his parent. She glanced at her parents but they were kinda busy. She glanced at Spider and they seemed busy too. Oh well!

He mirrored her play bow! The game was on!! She bounced from side to side as he fully introduced himself and pointed up at Andrei!

She looked up and saw her mom and dad's Peregrin falcons circling among some of the other birds. Looks like her mother's falcon, Galileo, had his eye on her!

"I'm Selene Fatalis and that one over me is Galileo!" She replied and bounced forward then back excitedly! "Yes yes yes! Show me the castle!" She replied. Her eyes followed up on the sheer height of stone and castle windows.

"What are the plants on the side of the wall? How high does it go? Does it have dens underneath?" She asked, she didn't see many vines back home, not many that grew up surfaces anyway. Could she hear the ocean a little further away? Was the other side of the castle on the ocean? All the questions interested her.

Little soldier boy She seemed to have her own bird babysitter, which meant they were free to do anything! Within reason of course. Best behavior. He really needed to make sure he did that. She said her name was Selene Fatalis. He nodded and made a mental note to remember that. And Galileo was the bird. He nodded and gave a bark at Andrei, who took the cue to glide closer and land on the entry to the castle, right on the statue. He started in the direction of the castle. And she started her questions. Ew, plants. That was Sprig's category. He was all fight and well secretly he loved a good book. Not that he could read very well yet... but he loved hearing books read to him. "I'm not actually sure about what the vines are.... my sister could definitely tell you though. But it goes all the way up in some spots. And no our rooms are up in the castle, im not supposed to go into the dungeons underneath, yet. Unless uncle Art or my mom there is with me." he gave her a small explanation. He wasn't about to let uncle art down and break rules right now. He wanted more of those sword making lessons and he definitely wanted to start training in the dojo sooner rather than later. Couldn't do that if he got grounded. He lead her into the castle, wiping his paws thoroughly on the entry carpets. He would definitely not be the one blamed for muck on aunt Briar's floors. He wasn't about to be on scrubbing duty. "This is the grand foyer, to the right is the guest area, and over there on our right, its the hall that leads to the kitchen and pantry and our forge. We aren't allowed in the forge without an adult present, maybe when uncle Art isn't busy he'll let me show you the sword I helped him make." he gave her a grin and nodded to either direction as he spoke. Andrei came fluttering in from a window offering a low croak, making it known the two were being watched. Walk, "Talk", Think Come marching home

2/3 met a new wolf

She watched as Andrei swooped down and landed on a statue.
"Hey! He looks like Ollie's bird, Eterna! I bet she's flying around here too!" She exclaimed, bouncing on her toes. She lets Titus lead her inside but of course, she hops and leaps over the bits and pieces that had fallen off the castle walls at one point.

She listens to his directions and perks up at the sound of the forge, "Oh hey! The Armada has a forge too! Mumma makes a few things and Uncle Charlie does a bunch more in it too!" She exclaims. She feels the cool stone floors and mimics him in wiping her feet on the mat before she bounds forward. The throng of folk walking in around and behind them for the reception. He looks up at the castle walls and sees how different they seem! The cavern walls of her home were all made of the same rock, smooth in most places! Here, there was a bunch of stones all stacked on top of each other.

"Can we at least take a peak at the forge? Where do you live? What's a dungeon?" She asked in another spitfire round of questions.

Little soldier boy She perked up at the fact that they had a forge and he grinned, his head lifting proudly. "Uncle Art let me help him make a sword last time I was in there." He thought that would definitely make him awesome to the other girl. She might even spread the word about how awesome he was to the other kids that had come with her. She waited for her as she mirrored him and the wiping of her paws. Good. At least he wouldn't be cleaning up after anyone tonight. She's then spit-firing questions and He paused to look about to make sure no one saw them.... IF they were in and out, maybe uncle Art wouldn't mind. He could definitely show her the forge from the outside though as well. They could peek in. "We can look at the Forge from the doorway.... but we aren't supposed to go in.... It's dangerous in there according to Uncle Art..... As for a dungeon, its a place you put bad scary guys that do really bad things." he moved, leading the way and keeping a casual profile so no one would see or think he was taking her someplace he wasn't supposed to. He knew the rules, and he wasn't gonna break them. His paws were silent as he moved, claws retracted. Easy peasy to sneak. He lead her to the forge while speaking. "There's bedrooms upstairs, I live in my mom's room for now... But soon I'll have my own room!" Couldn't let himself look uncool. He stopped in front of the door to the forge and pushed on the door, letting it swing open for her to see inside. But he seated himself outside the forge. He was not getting in trouble today.
