Watch the sun rise
Reaper (and/or) Hellborn
It felt wonderful to go on an adventure, but she was scared in a sense. It was growing much colder within Auster, a lot of the land was frozen. And not knowing the cause was kind of making her worry more than she should have been. She was needing to find something out, in fact anything that would be the cause of it. Surely, tempatures changed with the seasons. But it was only a matter of time that it would get worse, by far.
The slate woman had taken naps through out her journey, making sure to not cross over any claimed territories the woman followed. The ground gave strong quakes. A growl flew from her throat, causing her lips to curl up even if no one was around to see it. The way the sky was completely covered in reds, fading out further out, her outline seemed to glow in the red that radiated from the sky.
Keeping her head low, she sniffed at the terrian as she continued on. Soon large spires stretched from the cracked earth. A deeper growl left her, fur standing on edge as soft watermellon orbs looked up one of the spires, beginning to wonder where they had come from, Mae had become cautious. Not knowing if she should be here or if she should turn around and head back home.

The sense of danger soon washed over the woman known by Mae, especially to those that she loves and cares about. And honestly Mae had no idea about Reaper following behind her as eyes turned to the large spires that sprouted from the cracks all across the land. It had to happen last night. During the dead of the night. She heard Reaper call out her name. Her heart picked up pace, stuck somewhat almost in a frozen stated.
Mae unfroze and rushed to him, nudging him away from the spire. "Reaper, darling." Shaking her head then looking to the spire then to her boyfriend. The one she loved. If something happened how would she ever forgive herself? "Please, please don't." She pleaded. "We don't know what they are, or what powers they hold. I don't want anything to happen to you." Mae had stated.
"What if they are poisonous? I can't bare the thought of loosing you..." She looked down and then back to him, looking over his paw quickly almost as if she was panicing.

Widow found it difficult to leave this place for too long. Sure, it wasn’t exactly close to Hellborn, but it was a threat nonetheless and Widow wasn’t going to let a threat go uninvestigated. There was no doubt the other wolves within the pack were interested, curious, and potentially worried as well… giving her even more reason to keep frequent tabs on the new location that seemingly appeared over night and changed their skies to an ominous, foreboding red. Widow wasn’t unfamiliar with strange phenomenon’s, but this was nothing like she had experienced before.
As she was arriving at the Prominence again, she wasn’t blind to the familiar feeling she always got around this time of year. She only hoped that whatever all of this was wouldn’t affect the children she could feel growing inside her like it had affected Cryptis.
Snooping around a different spire, Widow was studying the strange inscriptions before familiar voices caught her ears. Turning towards the voices, she spotted Reaper and Mae looking at one of the many spires, seemingly having a discussion about it.
“Reaper, Mae- have you discovered anything new?” she asked as she trotted over, hoping that they had some new information for her but with as many times as she’s surveyed the area, she was doubtful… that didn’t mean that they hadn’t speculated though, and any idea as to what this place was and why is was suddenly here would be more than welcome.
"Nothing feels right here." Mae admited, ears flattened against her skull as watermellon pools landed upon one of the spires and how Reaper had said about the writing upon them. "They are old, and there's this." She moved closer to a spire lifting a paw and tracing the writing upon them. "Reaper noticed the writing, I don't know if each one is different, but...there's something definitly not right My Lady."
Although she told Reaper not to touch one, here Mae was lifting a paw run against the stone.
