Hala felt an irresistible pull to venture into Boreas. After a long and arduous journey, she found herself in a captivating area. Numerous hotsprings. The beauty of the area was undeniable, though she was all too aware of the dangers that hid beneath the deep dark shadows. A strong urge to flee surged within her, compelling her to run and not stop. But she questioned, what would that really accomplish?

She was constantly fleeing from herself and a haunting past, never settling in one spot for long. What reason did she have to stay? Darkness lingered with unseen threats. A low snarl escaped her lips, revealing stained canines. The moon high within the sky allowed its lunar rays to cascade down threw the lands; it was the only certainty she knew. As she walked along the borders of new lands, lands unseen and unknown to her.

Fiery pools stretched towards the horizon, where the lands changed into a thick forest, from meadows and gulley's.. Nearby, a few deer grazed then spooked and darted into the shadows of the night. She flicked her tail in irritation. When would she finally find the peace to escape her thoughts? The weight of her past trauma lingered, a burden she had inflicted upon herself.

Collecting her thoughts, she gazed into the water, noticing the numerous scars on her nose and the ragged edge of her ear. "Who's there?" she called out as gently as she could, her voice rough from countless sleepless nights. She couldn’t remember the last time she had experienced a truly restful sleep. The nightmares haunted her relentlessly.

She was bound to stumble any moment now. Her rosy tongue flicked against her nose for a brief instant. A shiver ran through her as she caught a glimpse of movement behind her, making her jump. Hala climbed into one of the springs. She however was struggling to suppress her choking feelings.

Her throat throbbed from the jagged scar that Achyla had inflicted. She found herself questioning when her father and siblings would arrive, but the sensation of isolation weighed heavily on her. So she slipped into one of the warm pools as water circled around her. It's been calm for the woman lately, silent in ways no other could imagine. Although the nightmares still haunted her. And that no one answered, she relaxed even more. The moon high in the sky above her. Maybe for once she'd be allowed to relax and take in the relaxing surroundings?
