However lost she still felt the guilt pressed harder. No matter was Remus said she would always be responsible for the fall of Ashen and for her family’s scattering. Most had migrated to Elysium, but she didn’t think she could deal with their stares of disapproval. Or facing them in general, so they were slowly making their way south. Her father knew about failure, surely he would welcome his failure of a daughter.

However, as they journeyed the strange happenings began. Ike could easily put away her woes as she watched the world fall apart around them. The unstable quakes, the midnight sun, the strangeness all around them. She and Remus wound up near the Shimmering Shore, though it wasn’t really on the beach where the labyrinth appeared. Surprised and curious, she felt a deep need to explore here.


"Kiyohime Shuriken Oritsu Klein"

As he and Ike began to make their way into Auster–unfortunately during the southern continent's cold season, it seemed–their trip to her father's pack was very quickly derailed by strange quakes. He was an explorer at heart so the moment that Ike showed an interest in getting a closer look he was quick to encourage the idea and head that way with her. As much as he wanted to dive in head first and see what was causing all of this, he held himself back a bit because Shuriken was with him. The last thing he wanted was to put his wife in danger no matter how curious he was. He stepped up to the edge of the labyrinth of tunnels, always making sure to say slightly ahead of Ike as they went. He could smell the scents of the other wolves that had already explored these openings so he knew they weren't the first to look into these sudden tunnels, but that didn't stop him from wanting to see them himself. "Stay close, okay?" he said, glancing back at Ike to make sure she heard him before he went any further.

"Remus Armada"

The once crown princess was uncertain what to make of the unnatural occurrences going on during their travels. Like the turmoil within it seemed the earth moved to match her trepidation. The cold weather wasn’t too uncomfortable with Remus at her side, at least they could snuggle close together for warmth. With the strange happenings though, Shuriken hardly noticed the cold with the midnight sun, the earth shakes, and the strange scents in the air.

The ground seemed to open up before them, Shuriken’s silvery eyes followed the tunnels as Remus whispered for her to stay close. They were both fully capable wolves, but Ike still felt good that Remus was there to care for her. "What do you think is down there?” She asked quietly, as if her voice would cause more of a cave in.
