She led the group to the North lands, Erebos and Red on either side of her as they drew closer to Syndicate lands. The party had rested nearby after they traveled throughout the night, and although the sky was still painted red from the strange phenomenon happening, she was sure it was closer to dawn by this point. She knew Grim was here, but there was not much she could do at the moment for him. Not while they were in the midst of a raid, and although she was generally the type to derail a whole plan, she couldn't do that this time around when so many others were involved. Besides, it was Grim. He'd be fiiiinneee! Or so she hoped. And if he wasn't? Well...they'd find out sooner or later. Still, she was determined to fight despite knowing she was brewing pups in her belly. She was a seasoned fighter, however, and not even that would stop her from this. She would not be the first nor the last to fight in such a state, and should something go awry, she had three healers within the group to help. Turning to her wolves, she grinned. "Okaaay~ Like Medusa said, do your best. Fight as fiercely as they do, mkay? Or do what you want, Medusa doesn't care. Except getting killed, don't do that please!" Turning her attention toward the sparse pines and the marked borders, she cackled as she led the charge into Syndicate territory. She reeaallyy hoped they could get some sheep this time! |
As her mate and *ahem* protective detail, Erebos may crash her threads at anytime!
Please note: Medusa is a wildcard! While she is mostly kind, friendly, and eager to help, she can equally be cold, aggressive, and eager to murder you depending on how you treat her! She refers to herself and often, others, in the third person (illeism), and occasionally has tics due to her Tourette's and may giggle and laugh at random, and may twitch here and there. She is a blood & gore type of character, and is not above killing, maiming, or other such violent actions if she's given a reason to do so. It's often in your best interest to not cross her or get on her bad side. Ya never know what she might do c:
Redrum’s muscles twitched as he stood to the side of Medusa, his gaze flicking between the wolves surrounding them. The strange red sky cast an eerie light on his golden eyes, narrowing as he processed his mothers words. His breath hitched, mouth parting slightly as his head tilted toward her with a low growl rumbling deep in his throat. The scent of impending violence stirred his senses, and despite his body quivering from the tension, a surge of excitement coursed through him.
His lips curled back to expose his teeth in a half-snarl, half-smile. “To victory.” He twitched again, claws flexing into the earth. His tail lashed behind him, his throat bubbling with a rumbling growl of barely controlled impulse.
He moved closer, pressing in that predatory way of his, ears pinning back. He inhaled sharply, a low huff escaping as he drew forward into the Syndicate. The tension in his body only grew, rippling through his muscles like a coiled spring. His golden eyes flickered toward the borders, and he let out another growl, more a sound of impatience than anything else.
Redrum speaks in third person, known as illeism.
He deals with neurological issues from head trauma,
Causing disruptions in speech and movement,
Making him appear twitchy, with uncontrollable tics affecting every muscle.
Assume he isn't wearing his skull mask unless specified.
Absinth’s sharp gaze flicked to the sky, where her ravens cawed a warning, their voices a symphony of chaos on the wind. Her lips curled into a sly smile as the tension in the air thickened, her ivory fur bristling with anticipation. She could feel the excitement crackling through the pack like wildfire, ready to consume everything in its path. Oh… how delightful.
Her ravens were never wrong, and the scent of blood was already sweet in the air. With a throaty chuckle, she released a howl, not merely a warning but an invitation—a wicked confirmation for her packmates. Come play. Moving with predatory grace, Absinth closed the distance between her and the others, each step deliberate, slow, like a panther toying with its prey. The earth beneath her paws thrummed with life, the pulse of the forest dancing in time with her own dark anticipation. Her voice slithered through the tension like silk, a low purr of danger and amusement. “What do we have here?” she asked, her words dripping with playful malice.
Above, her ravens circled, their dark feathers catching the eerie red light as they sang of more than just battle—they whispered of strategy, of traps waiting to be sprung. Absinth’s mind was already ahead of the game, weaving webs of deception and death. With a seductive tilt of her head, she signaled her ravens, sending them to scatter through the trees. Her breath came steady now, each inhale brimming with the thrill of impending violence. Her claws flexed into the earth, savoring the moment. Who would challenge her?
Unlike Absinth, Kaino wouldn't wait. Perhaps it was her Saxe blood, but outsiders having the balls to tread on her lands... it wouldn't be tolerated. Having heard the call, the lavender and smoke fae quickly donned her armor. Companions at her side, she made her way quickly towards the skirmish.
Mint and ice eyes landed on a bit old bitch. She seemed to be the one barking out orders to the rest and so, wouldn't you know it, she would be Kaino's target. The bob-tailed woman made no effort to hide her approach. She rushed straight in, ears back and eyes narrowed. A fossa darted in from either side, quick and agile. The fossa's dove at the woman right as Kaino moved to slam her chest into that of her opponent. Jaws opened wide and she curled her neck with the intent to sink her teeth into the neck of the intruder.

Enyo’s heart thrummed in her chest as she stalked through the pines, every step deliberate and predatory. Her armored body gleamed under the harsh sun. The scent of battle was thick in the air. The promise of bloodshed just on the horizon. Her daedric armor hugged her muscular frame, the dark metal plates clicking softly with her movements. Each sound was like a song of war, a hymn that stirred something primal within her.
Her eyes gleamed with anticipation, scanning the terrain as the wind carried her forward, bringing with it the familiar, acrid scent of Syndicate. She knew the scent well, having caught it on Flare’s coat before. It clung to her memory like the ghost of a past betrayal, stirring a vicious hunger to settle old scores. She would see to it that the wolves of Syndicate bled today. Nothing personal. This was a hunt for resources. She would provide.
Her two birds soared above. Foberos circled wide her sharp cry cutting through the air, while her owl, sleek and silent, glided like a shadow over the forest. They scouted ahead, watching, waiting. Their presence only heightened Enyo’s excitement, every feathered signal a promise of chaos to come. Foberos knew well what the woman was capable of.
Her muscles coiled beneath her thick pelt, hidden beneath the armor’s weight, but she welcomed the burden. It was a familiar companion in moments like these. Battle was not just her duty, it was her joy. The thrill of domination, the ecstasy of sinking her teeth into an enemy's throat, the moment when strength and cunning aligned in perfect harmony were the only things that made her feel truly alive.
Blood would spill today, and she intended to be the one to draw the first drop. Every fiber of her being screamed for it. The weight of her past humiliation still lingered, but here, on the battlefield, there was no place for shame, only strength.
Her breath slowed, steady and deliberate, as she scanned the land ahead, her eyes burning with excitement. This was where she belonged at the front, teeth bared and claws ready. Every step forward felt like destiny pulling her closer to the one place where she truly thrived: amidst chaos, blood, and bone.
The time was near. Soon, she would unleash the storm, and nothing would stop her from basking in the glory of domination.

She followed dutifully behind her mother as they were led towards Syndicate's borders. They were essentially told to match their energy, and Rue would do just that. Especially when they were holding her brother captive. While Grim had been aware of the possibility, it still stirred something within the woman. She skeletal marked babe was ready for battle. Eager to wet her teeth upon those that dared come at her. The tension was thick in the air, Redrums words falling heavily upon them. Victory. Yes. She hoped so. Although they were simply here for resources, she would not hold back against them. It wasn't a war that required the strength of each and every member to succeed, but damn would it feel good to shove their faces in the dirt and let them know Insomnia wasn't the type to merely sit in the background. She parted from her mother as she made her way across the borders, hair raised in anticipation and the infamous Mortem grin upon her face as she listened. Watched. Waited for them to come slinking out of the woods. Her owl flew silently ahead while her Mandrill moved beside her. Her claw caps captured the red tint of the sky, taking on an eerie red tone of their own akin to blood. The first would arrive, but Rue was not in close enough proximity to really care enough to consider an attack on her. But then another arrived, charging at her mother with ferocity. The first of the battles to begin. No doubt Medusa could handle herself, so she kept moving forward, tasting the scents of those that lived here...and lingering somewhere in the air, she could detect the faint scent of her younger brother. While they weren't taking him home today, they would be back for him. Of that, she was certain. |

The time had come for them to march on Syndicate's doors. The hunger to fight stirred within him, and despite his age and failing hearing, it wouldn't stop him. The Crimson Demon crossed the borders with a predatory hunger, blazing red eyes watching Redrum for a moment as his newly found son uttered his words. The scents that lingered in the air here were many, but there was one he could easily pick out among the rest. Aresenn was here. How long had it been since he'd seen him? Time was a fickle beast...it had been some time since he had seen them, but he was glad his son found somewhere he belonged. Would he come out to meet him in a fight? He was eager to see him, of course. And if he didn't get the chance to see him on the field, then maybe he'd get the chance afterward.
Moving ahead, Ignis moved purposefully through the trees, searching. Watching. Waiting. They were beginning to emerge from the trees, one by one. And already one had decided to engage with The Bone Queen. Hackles rose as he anticipated a fight of his own, the scarred beast eager to tear into flesh. "Rip them apart..." He heard that whisper of a voice steadily growing in his head. Yes...he would do just that.

They swarmed Syndicate land. A land she had visited before and was vaguely familiar with, but that had also been some time ago. Seymour surveyed the ground as he circled overhead, ready. Waiting. As soon as he saw them begin to approach, he issued a warning call. Medusa saw her as she emerged from the trees, a grin plastered to her lips as she cackled wildly, spine tingling, surging ahead to meet her opponent head on. Quick on her paws, the skeletal marked queen met Kaino with equal force. The first pair to shed blood. She was a bit disappointed that it was neither Rhazien or Sephiran, but this pretty little number would have to do! Snarling, she aimed to slam chest to chest with the other woman, undeterred by the little creatures. Her Wolverine would take care of them with equal fierceness. Raising her head, Kaino's bite would land between her shoulder and chest, giving her the first taste of blood. Now it was her turn! Lunging for her own bite, Medusa reached forward and sought to grab the side of Kaino's neck in a vicious bite, unwilling to relent in her attack as she simultaneously sought to shove her back, her left forepaw seeking to slam on top of Kaino's forepaw in a bid to cut her toes and pin her in place. › they arrived in the north parts, in sparse pines. it was cooler here and the syndicate held a terrible stench that made his nose flare. the sting of newness making him on edge as it awoke his senses. his large muscular body stepping through the scene with eyes hungry, vigilant as he made his way near medusa with red on the other side with his hawks in tow. as more insomniac's gathered, some syndicate members did too.
Érebos needed no reprimanding-, no pending encouragement or reminders of what he's here to do. medusa may of came for sheep, but Érebos did not; her lackadaisical personality was starting to become more of an issue for him, politically speaking. a talk for another day. And although his wife set the tone, he ultimately would reject her ideas in mind. match them yes? surely she knew the first impression would make a lasting ripple. for as he watched medusa engage in an initiated maim, Érebos would abruptly move with thick muscles that coiled and churned beneath his thick pelt as he attempted to slam into the other syndicate female. a snarl announced his agitation, ears falling slick as his powerful body lunged forward- his sturdy arms flinging forth metallic claws that desired her flesh. his metallic mask with horns aiming for the girl's side all the same and eventually, aiming for her flanks. no intent to take it easy now that his pregnant wife was on the line. instead, Érebos intended to leave a scar. this was no friendly raid for the dunamis anymore, and these wolves were not pack alliances by any means. ‹

He knew the target he desired, and he moved towards her with purpose. Picking up speed as he aimed to slam his weight against that of the Insomnia wolf. The soreness from the incident had faded from her bones, though the repercussions in her head weren't yet... handled. Iscariot would push the thoughts from her head as best she could, swallow the shitty feelings, and cope. That's all she's ever done, right? Cope. Though her roaming had been slowed, sleep only restless, waking hours strange... she'd cope. She always coped. A raid? Enough to keep her mind off things for a bit. The girl comes to life, springs into action, and darts to the Pines. Gaze sharp as she takes in the scene bursting to life before her... good. Ears pinned flat to her skull, Riot throws herself at the first target that looks reasonable. Let the others deal with the physically larger threats for now. Chaos and Calamity taking flight over her shoulders, Riot hones in on her target. The smallest opponent on the field, still nearly double her height. It hadn't mattered, she'd bested bigger foes. Launching herself at the girl's flank like a furry missile, Iscariot would try to throw her balance first. Snapping and snarling, trying to find purchase with her teeth. So much ferocity, wrapped up in a tiny package. "Riot"---"Kai"

With that she turned on her heels summoned for her hawk to scout ahead and took off towards her “sister’s” call. It didn’t take her long to arrive at the scene. The sounds of battle already echoing like a dark melody around her as she stepped out of her spot in the shadows of the trees and began scanning the site before her.
It seemed that her pack mates were already engaged in battle with the others. Tensing her muscles to she stood waiting and watching for a challenger of her own now.

They started coming out of the woods as expected. She had no doubts these wolves would fight viciously to protect their resources, though she had a feeling they were the type that would fight just as viciously even if their resources weren't being threatened. Good. The Syndicate had a reputation to uphold, after all, and now that Insomnia was coming out of the woodwork more these days and no longer quietly sitting in the shadows, they too, would have a certain reputation to uphold. Crimson gaze scanned the field as her packmates engaged in fights, and now it was her turn. Her owl companion alerted her to the approach of her opponent, ears slicked back as she listened for those footsteps getting closer, but with the chaos of the rest of the noise, it was a tad more difficult. She whirled around the moment she felt the smaller weight rocket into her flank, teeth scraping her hide, earning a snarl from the pagan princess before she launched an assault of her own. Her opponent was smaller, but Rue knew a thing or two about smaller wolves. She twisted around like a cat, tearing herself away from the others teeth, her own jaws open as she sought to grab her opponents scruff and sink her teeth in. Everything springs to action at once, and Riot buckles down. Her time to shine, right? The last raid left her with two wins under her belt, and this should be no different. Confidence? Sure. Hubris? Maybe. Who gives a shit about that? Everything about the girl is sharp as she engages the taller creature in close combat. Though teeth find her scruff, she jerks away from the sharpened claws-- hell, those are cool, maybe she should take some notes here. No time. A snarl rips from the diminutive girl as she dives to wrap her jaws around her opponent's foreleg. Control the foot, control the claws attached to it. If Riot could find a grip, then she could force the girl to the ground on the next round. Another one, done and dusted, with any luck. "Riot"---"Kai"

Enki follows closely behind Medusa and the two men, keeping a keen eye on the group as they make the trek north. His father’s bear skull fits perfectly over his pale features and a pang of grief knifes through his heart as he remembers the dead man for a moment. But they are crossing into the other pack’s territory and he pushes such wistful thoughts from his mind as attackers suddenly materialize from the shadows.
Nostrils flare as he pulls in the scent of the gathered wolves, blue gaze searching for an opponent in the opening moments of the raid. A shorter, monochrome wolf catches his eye and Enki takes off toward her, noting that many of the fights around him seem vicious as if they wish to take some flesh for the simple trespass. Part of him does not wish to harm the stranger horribly so he decides to keep his attacks painful but without leaving long lasting effects.
Legs gallop across the distance that separate the pair as Enki approaches her from head on, bear skull covered head lowering as he seeks to slam headlong into her for his opening move. Bright blue eyes watch her intently as he tries to gauge her reaction to his attack.

Routine. Each day had been filled to the brim with the same old, same old; patrolling, hunting, keeping mostly to himself so that he doesn’t rip into any of his pack mates by accident. It breeds complacency, boredom and, most of all, it has slowly been driving Ezekiel insane. Ely, his sister, his one true love whose mere sight drives the knife of betrayal deeper into his heart. Yet he does not show the hurt, the utter rage that simmers just below the surface for the man that she has chosen to love.
No, instead Zeke plays the doting brother, helping to care for her children and spoiling them when he can as any good uncle would do. Yet, rage burns inside, threatening to explode out at any moment and consume all those around him. So, when the challenging howl of a raid rings through the territory, the purple and monochrome man is excited to answer. Paws carry him swiftly into the fray where the scent of blood is quickly filling the air and immediately seeks out someone to hurt
Duel-toned eyes land on a huge red male who is littered with scars and grey hair. He doesn’t think of the height difference or the fact that his opponent is old; no, instead, Ezekiel thinks only of blood. Charging the male, coming in from his side, Zeke seeks to get right up to the red male as his teeth attempt to find the flesh on the stranger’s flank, wanting, no needing to feel their blood in his mouth. A growl rolls from his lips as he goes.

The Insomnian Beta snarls through flesh and fur as her opponent jerks her head away from her claws only to close those jaws around her forepaw, stopping her from raking her sharp claws down the side of her face. Very well. That just meant she'd have to readjust a little. With that in mind, Rue forced her paw back toward the ground, dealing with the pain that came with the teeth that held her, but at least it would provide her another opening. Spreading her hind limbs, her tail lashed out for balance as she threw her opposite forelimb over her opponents shoulders, toes flexing her sharpened claw covers into the skin in attempt to cause discomfort and perhaps even pierce the flesh. Her jaws briefly releasing the smaller wolf's scruff as she then shot a little higher up, fangs looking to grasp just behind the base of her opponents skull. Her goal was to grab and force the smaller wolf's head down toward the dirt, risking whatever damage that was necessary to her forepaw. She would tend to it afterward, but for now, the light of battle and the taste of blood was all that was on her mind. The Syndicate wolves were determined to shed blood, and Rue expected as much. Okay, so he had completely ignored Medusa's order for him to stay home. Instead, he had convinced Batty to let him take his place. No way in Hell did he want to miss a raid against the Syndicate, especially after they decided to keep his shadow. Honestly though, it wasn't surprising that Ripper didn't listen. It was known that he seldom did. Why should he get to miss out on all the fun?! He raced his way North until he reached them, hearing the snarls and sounds of battle as he drew closer. His fur bristled in excitement as finally arrived on scene. Ready to rumble, he raced past the borders, bi-colored gaze frantically searching the field for an opportunity, but alas, none awaited him. "Aaawww!" Drat! Everyone was engaged in a fight already. Well, except for Red it seemed...pouting, he slunk his way over toward his brother, and waited with anticipation, practically vibrating as he waited for his turn. |
