Shaking Off The Rust

Grimoire

On his way escorting Ansem back home, Grimoire made a little detour to the battlefield. It had been some time since he had engaged in a spar, and since it was on the way back to the Armada, he figured he'd try to get a little practice in and shake off the rust. He made his way across the battle-torn plain, ears flicking at the sound of fighting in the distance. He swore the crimson sky was keeping more of the summer heat in, but perhaps it was all in his head. His thick northern pelt stifled him, but there was little he could do beyond taking a dip in the water or getting back to the North lands where he hoped was still cool enough despite the summer heat. He paused when he felt he was in a decent enough spot, molten gaze searching the landscape for a moment as his eagle flew circles above his head. He took in a breath before tilting his head back and calling out for an opponent.
