Epimethius stood in the field, settled into a spot near the middle, his eyes scanning the horizon. It was midday, not too hot not too cold, the air of Boreas had begun to cool and he welcomed the change. Winter would come soon enough and he would thrive then, his thick coat would make it easy for him. He'd come here plenty of times now, having brief one-off spars with a few and then he had almost seemed to acquire a sparing partner. The brute still hadn't introduced himself but he knew the beast was related to Enyo. And then there was Genesis... The brute had caught his interest in more ways than one, he could not lie and say he didn't want to learn more. He paused for a moment, realizing he had been attracting a lot of Enyo's family, but maybe it was just an incredibly large group. He shook his head at the thought.

He rolled his shoulders, as he cleared his mind. The sight of the battlefield always stirred something deep in his chest, something feral, instinctual, and restless. It beat inside of him like a caged bird, thrashing but never quite being let loose. His gaze turned to his surroundings, this land was beautiful, even with the scars that dug themselves into the land and bore a dark reminder of all those that had come here before him.

He tilted his head back, letting out a call for an opponent. A part of him hoped it would be one of the two he had grown to become rather curious about. But even if it wasn't them, he would enjoy the thrill nonetheless. The taste of someone's blood was something he would welcome, along with the intimacy and adrenaline that came with the battle. He stared forward, alert as he watched the area around him. His muscles were tense as he lowered his head and prepared for an opponent and an oncoming clash. His body moved to settle into a defensive stance, ready to spring forward at any hint of movement. Patience was key here, and luckily he had more than enough of it.
