The Unraveling - It Rises
Nelu struck true, the sharp stone piercing the creatures underbelly only to release a grotesque ooze, that rolled from the wound, and along the stone. Nelu quickly dropped it and scrambled back to avoid getting the strange fluid in his mouth, though in doing so he accidentally placed weight on his injured paw causing him to yelp. This was bad, this was definitely bad but it was encouraging to see the damage. More mucosal like fluid was rolling down the worms body from wounds higher up. Spying a piece of drift wood that had been fractured by the falling rocks he grabbed it in his teeth. Steadying himself, Nelu forced his mind to think past the pain. Kicking off from the sand on his three legs he whipped his head to the side, the drift wood between his teeth aiming once more for the worm's underbelly. He would just continue to poke as many holes in this beast as he could til it finally fell. Then he could tend to his pain.
They could do this, they had to do this.
Everyone was attacking the strange alienistic bug creature, yet it was seemingly doing little damage. Even the stick he threw was useless, and quickly turned into a weapon against him. Although he was able to dodge the stick at the last minute, he could feel as his foot hyperextended and twisted beneath him. Pain surged through his wrist but it was manageable, unless he put weight on it anyway. He tested it once before knowing that he would be limited to three legs for now, and given the pain he was uncertain if it was broken but since it wasn't hurting when it wasn't bearing any weight, he was hopeful.
However, how was he supposed to attack it now? It would be difficult to throw anything without being able to stand on both of his front legs and he certainly couldn't get down there for a more physical fight. He needed to fight though, to help the others get rid of it. Others had far worse injuries than he, so he decided to just deal with it and use it at least for balance to throw more shit.
This time he grabbed a rock and hurled it at the monster, hoping that this one hit instead of used against him and ignoring the pain in his wrist as he balanced.
he is crude & he will flirt with you.

Hala's Speach - speech
As she finishes up with the injured man, she booms a summons for any others who are injured and wished for healing to come her way. Since none immediately seek her out, Seere shoulders her medical bag, makes sure it was secure, and charges back toward the edge of the cliff. Anger burns hotly in her veins as she thinks of all the dead wolves that lay dismembered down on the shores edge and of the one she had been unable to save on this very cliffside.
They had shoved the dying wolf from this cliff and he had plummeted to his doom, swallowed up by the ocean to die afraid and alone underneath the water. The mere thought causes her to scream out, the sound feral and filled with sorrow as she bounds toward the injured and possibly dying, creature. A sizeable rock catches her eye and Seere gathers it in her maw as she moves, rolling it with her tongue to gain a better grip.
Small paws take her toward the edge and she winds up her shot, letting loose the hefty rock with the aim to strike of the dark, beady eyes that stares at her. With a shout, Seere seeks to retreat in the hopes of avoiding any of the worm’s attacks that might follow after her attack.
Seere has a male Pallas's cat named Paunch and a female barn swallow named Aisling. They are always nearby.
On the ground level, the soggy worm still doing a number on the world around him, Vendrick tries to steel himself. Gathering the courage he can in his guts, staring up at it angrily. Gaze sweeping back to his brother, coming to the boy's side. He'd already picked a piece of driftwood, and Vendrick was hot on his heels with another. Picking it up with great effort, and trying to send it into the beast like a massive javelin. This shit is hard, but he's doing his damndest. Panting, lungs aching, bones rattling beneath his coat. Shifting in the borrowed armor hastily grabbed from the castle, it's... it's doing its job. Barely. So is Ven.
You're not feeling so well...
