Alaric's black nose was glued to the ground as he sniffed out the trail of prey. His large cane corsos, Maul and Cinder, were right behind him. Their tails were up, their cropped ears perked and alert. They were helping their companion seek out the prey animal Alaric had caught the scent of, while also keeping alert for any potential dangers. Alaric could smell the prey animal getting stronger and he stopped in his tracks, placing them to a quite halt. "Maul, Cinder" He whispered to the dogs. "Stay low and out of sight." He asked the canines as he prepared himself to track down the prey animal more. He didn't want the dogs to accidentally spook off the prey. So he watched as the two Italian mastiffs trotted away a respectful distance and sat down on their hinds.

Massive brown paws followed the curious monochrome male as they set out hunting together. Their quarry had taken them to a lush vibrant garden of spring green. He lifted his nose to scent the air for the massive rodent. He swore he had seen it head this way.

He side-eyed the other male telling his servant dogs to sit low. Probably a wise move if they couldn't be trusted to hunt with them. He squinted his eyes at a bare patch of ground. A track marked into the mud.

Ultyr gave a soft chuff to the other, trying to keep their sounds low to avoid flushing their prey too early. He pointed his nose to the obvious track in the mud for the other to see. Ultyr slunk close to the ground along the tracks.

Alaric's ears swiveled to the sound of Ultyr's chuff. He debated ignoring the male altogether, but they were hunting. So he had no choice but to tolerate the so called 'god' as of now. He moved over quietly towards the brown male, lowered his head and sniffed at the tracks. "If I run the thing to you, will you finish it off?" He asked quietly, his voice a mere whisper. It was a fresh track. The animal was nearby and they mustn't spook the thing. He would wait for a response from Ultyr before starting the hunt officially. They needed a solid plan and patience. He only hoped Ultyr would be cooperative in this endeavor.
