Things appeared to be looking up, at least to Beauregard's knowledge. Bellatrix had emerged victorious and mostly unscathed from her battle for the pack and now they had a home once more. But the feeling was somewhat hollow. Tan and the others… they were gone. It was Blind who told him that they had left with Button, and the man felt a heaviness in his heart knowing he never got to say goodbye. But while his mates and two children had disappeared, he still had Trixy, Imogen, and Nolan to tend to. He hadn’t been as present in any of their lives as much as he’d liked since the fall of Norad. Part of that had been due to his and Lucette’s kidnapping… but still he had a heavy heart knowing they had grown so much without him. Now young adults in their own right, Beauregard could not be prouder to know they had survived. Walking into the herb filled territory Trixy intended to call their home, Beau tilted his head and called for Imogen. It was time they spent some time together. "Speech," 'Thought.' |
Yesterday, 10:56 AM
Almost immediately after the challenge Imogen had tried to find Jiro since she'd technically abandoned him in Boreas but unable to pick up his trail near the strange monuments she'd made her way back down to Auster for the time being. It wasn't surprising really, after all there had been so many wolves there and she knew he liked to wander just as much as she did. He'd turn up, she was sure... Even if some part of her wanted him there for this, to get to see her finally get some semblance of a home back, all of this having nothing to do with the night they'd spent in Boreas curled into each other... Nothing at all with how she couldn't seem to get the feeling of how protected she'd felt cuddled up next to him, while the earth had shaken beneath them, out of her head.
But for now she would make sure she was there to support what little of her family remained. There would be time to find her closest friend once things were more settled. If there was even a need, Imogen was certain he'd turn up. Like he always did.
All this to say she was nearby when her father's call had gone up and the girl picked up her pace to trot towards him. A grin splitting her face and tail wagging so hard her whole back end seemed to move with it as she rushed up to him, aiming to push directly into him, forgetting for a moment that his leg may still be sensitive. It wasn't unusual for her to forget those sorts of things when emotion overtook her. "Hiya dad!" She chirruped gleefully.
