The morning sunlight filtered through the entrance of her den, the sound of trickling water reached her ears and she watched the slowly waterfall crashing back into the stream, its power blocking the entrance to her den, Neo had adored the fact that his new home was behind a waterfall, however small that waterfall may have been. Something warm and soft was pressed against her chest and belly and she blinked back her sleep to focus on it. Neo. The small pup she had deemed her own, stripping him of the Adravendi name. He had taken to her like a duck to water. He adored her and she knew it, but today, he needed to be strong. Kaien needed to meet with him, Kaien needed to speak with him. Gently she nuzzled him, licking the top of his crown in a gentle caress. "Neo... Neo..." She cooed to him softly, words gently begging his dreams to release him. To return him to her. "Awaken sweetheart, today you will meet Kaien, our Alpha." Luce purred to him, willing him to awaken, at some point, her tail had coiled around his body and now it tightened around him, drawing him from his sleep with gentle touches. "Five more minutes." He mumbled softly, burying himself deeper into her body until the name he now worshiped touched his ears. Luce had filled his head with marvelous stories of his new Alpha, some seemed almost surreal compared to what he had come to expect from leaders under Cairo and Collision. With a loud yawn he stretched out his long body and rubbed the sand from his eyes. He smiled up at her drowsily, his tail flicking with torpid excitement. "Lets not keep him waiting then." He said with pure determination. He'd finally get to meet the alpha! The legendary Kain that the great Cairo had grown so terrified of, or so he had been told. He ran his head under the waterfall, soaking the remaining sleep out of him and stepped out of the den, making sure that there was enough distance between him and his guardian before he shook the moisture from his fur. He stood boldly in the warm sunlight, his chest puffed out, his back strait, his tail at half mast as it should have been. He was a model of potential and health, and he'd make sure Kain was aware of it today more than any other day that he served under him in the future. "What are we waiting for?" She nudged the bundle of fur pressed against her, willing him to awaken. He groaned, shifting deeper into the warmth her body provided and she almost chuckled. So bemusing was her charge. She hummed softly too him, her chest vibrating with the gentle noise that escaped her larynx, willing him to return to her. She had never pictured herself the motherly type but apparently she was not so terribly bad at it. She had told him a great deal of Kaien. Kaien was a stoic ruler who did not express a great deal of emotion, but he never toyed with his subjects, never promised them falsities. He was honest and to the point, promising only what he could in fact keep. The pup was the tender age of one, but well deserving of a rank, Kaien would give him one. He stretched languidly and Luce joined him, rising to her pads and stretching out her spine in a very feline arch. By the time she had straightened, his exuberant words had already reached her and he was bounding towards the waterfall that hid her den from view. She chuckled lightly, running her own body beneath the falls and shaking several paces from him. He chased in circles, excitement overpowering him and she beamed. he would make a fine warrior of Tortuga. She was certain. "I will call for him now. Will you tell him what you told me about Collision?" She would not force him too. She, herself would tell Kaien on the side if he did not wish to strike the final nail of betrayal through his old home. It was solely up to him. After he had answered, she nodded, accepting it, before she narrowed her eyes at him playfully. "Just don't make fun of my howl love its got a bit of my accent on it." She winked at him playfully, showing him she only kidded before she arched her neck in a delicate curve, the howl a soft soprano, sliced through the air and did indeed carry the slight twang of her accent. "That and more." he said proudly. He was ready to give up his old life, cast off his so called family and live as a warrior in Tortuga. He had yet to tell her everything, of just how weak Valhalla would be without Collision. Just how much they were without at this very moment. Kain would be more than pleased.
