Back and forth, back and forth. She padded along the very edge of the Seracian territory, nearly to the point of wearing a track in the ground. She would reach the edge of the lake that sat on the eastern side of the territory and would then turn around and retrace her steps till she reached the opposite shore of the lake, making the C shaped semi-circle again and again. This is how she had been spending her days for a while now. Her thinking was that if anything interesting was going to happen it would be at the border, where new wolves and visitors would appear. Not only that, but the constant movement was helping to tone her growing muscles which could only help if she was ever going to be a warrior like she dreamed of being. She reached the edge of the lake once again and came to a halt at the very edge of the water with a sigh. As much as she liked her version of patrolling, it was getting a little boring. She hadn't seen anything new or interesting in days! She turned her vivid green gaze out toward the lands that weren't claimed by her pack. She had yet to venture outside of the pack and wondered what it was like out there... The small pup sat back on her haunches and looked out curiously toward the horizon. If only someone could tell her about what was out there, or better yet, show it to her. Speech Thought Others

Once again the boy had wandered off by himself. His sisters quarreling about who was stronger, only sent the boy to find his own source of entertainment with a roll of his eyes. Why did girls have to be so complicated? Didn't girls usually talk about girly things and whose fur was prettier? Certainly not his sisters. They were so different, but then again he had been the only one to meet their father, and he wanted to grow up to be a great warrior and leader like him. One day he would, and he would work hard to get there! Sooty grey paws brought him to the far reaches of the Southern land. Somewhere he had not been, then again he had just been wandering. Stopping, he looked around. This place was certainly different then what he was used to towards the Eastern lands. He wasn't quite sure where he was, and hopefully he would find out soon. He moved forward again, cobalt form slipping through the shadows of the trees and scattered bushes. Soon, he came upon a lake...something he had not seen often. Scents would begin to swirl around his nose, and he was not aware nor familiar with any of them or that this might be pack lands. Soon upon approaching, he smelled a stronger scent nearby. And wondered if he should track it down to find out who it was, but decided perhaps it would be wiser to keep his distance. However, that plan would be quickly invalid as he would find the source of the scent. Snowy blue eyes found a grey figure not too far off, and though he was hesitant he decided perhaps he should make himself known lest he get into trouble. Carefully, he walked over to her, swallowing back some of the apprehension that gripped his belly. Would she be nice? Chase him away? He hoped not...he wanted friends so badly. Someone he could play with and talk to. His sisters never wanted to do those things, they were always busy fighting or trying to dominate everything. Releasing a deep breath, he stopped some feet away. "H-hello there.." "Speech"

Her train of thought was interrupted when a soft voice suddenly grabbed her attention. Her bright green eyes found the gray pup a short distance from her and her gaze immediately turned curious. Jendai was sure she had never seen him before, but that wasn't saying much. She had yet to meet most of the wolves of her pack. "Hello!" she replied with a friendly tone to her voice. She guessed that she was at least a season older than him, but it was hard to tell sometimes since she was smaller than most pups her age. She padded forward, closing some of the distance between them. She stopped maybe a foot from him, plopping back down onto her haunches. She had been wishing for something interesting and here something was! She leaned forward and sniffed him curiously. "Huh... you don't smell like my pack. Does that mean you're not from here?" She gave a small gasp of excitement at the realization, her tail wagging excitedly behind her. "Where are you from? Do you live out there? What's it like?" She watched him curiously, her eyes glittering with wonder. She had never met a rogue before and she wondered how much he could tell her about the world outside of Seracia. Speech Thought Others

He was noticed rather quickly, tail wagging when he was sure that the other was friendly. Judging by her enthusiastic greeting, he was sure she was nice! She got closer to him, stopping a foot or so away and began to sniff at him. Likewise, he took a couple steps forward and stretched his neck out, nostrils taking in her scent as well as they were nearly nose to nose now. Standing with his tail wagging, he'd tilt his head to the side as she began to spew questions at him. A giggle escaping his tongue as he gazed at her with curiosity. Slowly, he'd shake his head. Ears perked as he studied her. So she was a pack wolf? She smelled different then his fathers pack had, so that meant every pack had a different smell? He wondered. "Haha, no I'm from farther away...I'm not even sure where I am now, but it sure is pretty." He laughed more as her excitement began to rub off on him, had she never been outside her lands before? Sitting down in front of her, he looked with bright blue eyes. "I'm from um..the East, I think. There's lots of tall trees and different things, and the weather is always warm. There's lots of things to see and explore! On my way here, I found a small pool of water with lots of neat things in it, wanna go see? It's pretty close!" He barked excitedly, hoping that perhaps she would wanna play with him and that he could show her some of the things he saw as well. "Speech"

Jendai listened to her new acquaintance eagerly, absorbing the new information like a sponge. Then the darker gray pup offered to take her to an interesting pool near by and she was more than happy to jump at the chance. Always curious, Jendai couldn't resist. She took a look behind her to make sure one of her family members or even a pack mate that might tell one of her parents that she was sneaking off was watching before looking back at him and replying, "Yeah! Lets go!" She let him take the lead, trotting along beside him as they made their way toward this pool that he had spoken of. It suddenly dawned on her that she had been so excited about meeting someone new that she hadn't even bothered to introduce herself. Or even find out his name! She spoke up, wanting to immediately fix this problem. "I'm Jendai by the way! What's your name?" She hoped they got there soon. She was excited to find out what these interesting things he had talked about were. Speech Thought Others
