Rarely was the boy seen beyond the den, if it was not quite perfect yet than how could he be expected to deal with the imperfections of the world beyond? On top of that he just knew the knowledge of the disaster that was the den would distract him and call him back until he gave in. Still he had to leave every now and again, and he supposed now was as good a time as any. He was still very much a stranger among the pack, he didn't tend to stray too much and meet even fewer wolves and those he did it was just in passing.

He was out now though; still he didn't want to be gone from the den too long, he was eager for his work to be done.

The lady made her way through the island carefully. Seeing as she was much a stranger herself to these lands, to these people. She wanted to do her best when it came to listening to others. But what she was confronted with, was a young pup, looking to only just be old enough to be a few feet away from his den. He smelt like Azalea, was this one of the children that she spoke of having? Vahva knew his mother, and as such she didn't know who his father was, but meeting them was all the more experience towards herself. As the motherly lady made her way to crouch a few feet away from him, her blue mane brightly shining within the light.
"Got bored of the den little one? She asked with a smirk, trying not to alarm him. She had her own pups, so she had dealt with the young ones before. Though in a much harsher environment though. Even so, she thought they all needed the benefit of the doubt, no matter who they were. Regardless of their family ties, the youth were important. Always with the pack.

Sephiroth

Out and about he had gone in his daily patrol of the island. Sand clung loosely to his paws, but slowly left his fur as he walked deeper into pack territory. So far, everything was safe. Quiet. Serene. He only hoped that a repeat of their old home would not happen again, he wasn't sure how his pack mates would take to it, but he knew he would fight again. Then again, from the vantage point of one of his two dens hidden within the jungle trees; one atop a small cliff overlooking the shores towards the mainland, the other under one of the large trees where pack meetings were held. Sephiroth took it upon himself to ensure their home was always safe. Day and night, he slept little just to make sure the pack was well and safe in the darkness as well as the light. He had trained his mind well during his time with Valhalla, as well as during his training at his old home with Angeal. Sephiroth knew all there was to know, but he was always learning new abilities and skills and hopefully, would one day teach it to his own children and members of his pack.

It was then that the scent of a young familiar crossed his nose, the other someone he had not yet met. Curious, Sephiroth moved quietly through the trees and foliage. Nearing the sought out scents, they would soon come into his sights. Aquamarine eyes gazed at the young pup as he came up behind him, then fell upon the woman who lied in front. Wary was he, and he always would be of those that he did not trust or know. It was something that was embedded in him. He had learned not to just take the word of another that they could be trusted. They had to prove it. Many a time he had seen others in his old home claim trust, only to turn on one another. Sephiroth had trusted, and was abandoned and turned on. Never again would he make that mistake again. Very few here had gained his trust, and those few were close to his heart. Chrysanthe, Seraphine, and Angeal were the only ones that Sephiroth would ever claim to trust for now. And although Valhalla was built on a level of familial ties and trust, he was still skeptical as to who could actually be trusted.

"Good day young one. Out exploring I see?" Sephiroth offered a warm smile to the child. Knowing about his heritage, he wanted to make him feel welcome and not shunned due to the lineage of his father. Although the father of the child was Valhalla's greatest enemy, the child was innocent. Sephiroth would ensure that the children were treated like anyone else within the pack like family, because he too knew what it was like to have hated lineage. But it was not the child's fault...it was never the child's fault. Casting his gaze towards the woman, he stared with guarded curiosity. "And good day to you as well, stranger." He kept his tone even, hiding the wariness he had with this stranger being so close to the pup. Of course it was natural for him, he didn't know her after all. And seldom did he makes friends, the only ones being Seraphine, Leon, Caerul and his family, as well as Imena and Chrysanthe.
