Aria had found out about this place the other day from a traveling loner, at first she didn't believe him but as he described the place she got an idea to check it out. So here she was, moving through the land, green eyes scanning the place for the ravine that loner described. He said that if you didn't want to fall and break a leg then you would have to look very carefully, be aware of where you put your paw. That was exactly what she was doing, she kept her body weight back while using a front paw to press down on the tall grass. Test, move forward, test, move forward. She did this for about ten steps before her paw finally pushed forward, the echo of it hitting something reaching her ears. Carefully the female stretched out her neck, finding herself looking over a ledge and down the ravine.

After finding the ravine ledge the she-wolf trailed along it, looking for where it merged into the ground so she could walk through. It wasn't easy to find the end, she took about an hour to finally found it, standing there with her head down and taking a deep breath. "Finally." She spoke to herself, lifting her head and holding it high, moving forward. Even though it was just a ravine, it amazed the she-wolf because she had never seen one before.

jupiter illidais

when she was but a teen, nearing maturity but just not quite there, jupiter had come upon this fated ravine purely by accident, and had nearly fallen into it. as she padded toward that very location, she gave a fond chuckle of the memory despite the fact that it wasn't exactly a pleasant one. even as she had stopped her head-long sprint her body had still slid, form turning so that it was parallel to the ravine, her back legs had slipped off of the lip of the ravine, and the rest of her body had nearly gone with it. she had struggled for what had seemed like hours, but had turned out to be only a few seconds worth, before she had finally managed to drag herself back onto stable ground. she wondered where ludicael would be had she fallen to her death that day.

jupiter's nose wrinkled with tremendous disdain at the thought of pepper ruling the lands. with a pack, no less. she would have expected it to last a month, tops, before it fell apart. think it harsh, but the leader held such a thorough disliking for the lass. it wasn't because of the challenge itself (for example, she was on neutral grounds with thane even though he too had challenged)--it had been the way that she had tried to claim ludicael. the fae had walked up with that glint in her eye--that idiotic glint--as if she had discovered something. as if she had found a land that nobody lived in, that nobody called their own, that nobody cherished... and tried to take it without a second thought.

so absorbed in her musings was the she-wolf that she hardly noticed the figure growing slightly larger with every step that she took. the she-wolf blinked rapidly, lids flickering to bring the terrain ahead into focus. the creature ahead seemed familiar somehow. celestial eyes narrowed as she still walked forward in silence, and she realized that it was aria, one of the ludicael wolves. she breathed in through her nose and found a tinge of her land's scent upon the wolf's pelt. she hadn't been there long enough for it to dominate, but it was just enough to confirm her observation. as she approached, she moved some small rocks and pebbles that were scattered about to let the she-wolf know that she was near, so she wouldn't be startled.

"don't fall," she chuckled, ears forward. "i almost made that mistake before." she came near and settled to her haunches beside the lunav. smiling even as she looked down into the dangerous depths, and then glanced at the lady affably. "settled in to ludicael enough to wander, i see?" she asked, chuckling. she meant it with light-hearted intent.

crawl. crawl more. drag your hands and knees across the destruction left in my wake to the ends of the earth. there's a green light of a shining star in my sky and there will not be an obstacle i will not overcome until i cup that star in my palms. the void in my will has been filled with purpose. so crawl. crawl more, love.
because i like it when you're on your knees.

She had lost herself in her thoughts, musing over this interesting spot she ha found. The Lunav would have stayed within Lucidael lands but she had grown bored quickly just roaming by herself so she decided to stray away and check out the lands around it. Even though this place wasn't too near. Either way the female wanted to explore the other lands some more befre settling down and sticking to ehr new packlands.

Aria jumped when she suddenly heard something behind her, was she really that zoned out that she wasn't paying attention to what was around her? The female suddenly lunged forward after quickly ecovering from her slight moment of surprise, shifting her weight from the front to the back legs and twisting her body with a push, so she landed on all four facing whoever had snuck up on her. With lips pulled back and fur bristling she was about to let lose a snarl when her green eyes focused on the wolf before her, the Sol, Jupiter. Quickly Aria covered her fangs, fur flattening and bowed down to her leader. "I am sorry, you caught me off guard." She apologized, lifting her head just as the she-wolf spoke about how she had almost fallen into this ravine.

She smiled at the thought, not because she wanted to see the Sol fall and break a bone but because she thought it was a bit funny to think of somebody falling because they weren't paying attention to where they set their paws. Seeing her leader sit Aria also did, tucking her legs in and sitting beside Jupiter with a small smile, giving a nod of her head when she said that Aria was settled enough to wander from the lands. "You could say somehting like that." She chuckled, gaze drifting off and looking up at the edge of the ravine. "Just wanted to explore some more of these lands before I stuck to Ludicael lands." She answered, lowering her head and focusing on the female beside her. "How are doing today with this fine weather?"
