ooc: Novella needs to meet some non-Destruction Ludicael wolves!
Novella wasn't exactly worried about speaking to the other wolves within the pack, perhaps more a little ashamed that she hadn't really made an effort. So caught up with finding her family and bonding with them, she hadn't left herself any specific time beyond her lessons to actually get to know anyone else within Ludicael. How to start now she wasn't overly sure, though it would probably be best to pick her moments a little more carefully than her meeting with Magnus. She was fine of course, though still thought it had been a little intrusive of her really.
For now she sat alone at the top of the Sunset Falls hillside, enjoying a moment of peace as she gazed across the view. With the Summer here now the days were stretching out for longer and the lands had warmed up and the storms that Spring had brought seemed far behind them now. The afternoons were were perhaps a little too warm though really, and Novella found herself rather thankful of the various trees on the Ludicael land, offering plenty of shelter from the sun's hot rays. She was making the most of them for now, and with the calm that the rather lazy afternoon had brought her, the wondering of how she could become better acquainted with her pack mates had been pushed to the back of her mind as she became further relaxed, laying down and sprawling out a little.
Quietly the babe would make her way up sunset falls, following the river that slithered its way towards the cliffs. Stomach was already showing signs of pregnancy, almost heavily so and though she didn't know when she was due she hoped it would be soon. Pregnancy had been fun when the world was all sunshine and butterflies but now that she was beginning to loose her slim figure and she was starting to be tired all the time she was done being pregnant. Her usually joyful prance was replaced with an almost sluggish trudge, head hung low and tail licking easily at her ankles. There was no interest or purpose to her walk, simply a need to walk. Her paws were sore and yet she felt restless and in all honesty it was probably the worst combination ever.
Lanteren eyes rose from the ground before her as the scent of a pack member drifted towards her over the strong scent of water. They settled on the seemingly sleeping form of an oddly familiar form. Though Vi didn't know her name she knew that she had seen the female a few times around the pack before. Drawing herself more upright she walked towards the female, not bothering to hide her approach and drawing to a halt a short distance away where she cleared her throat and tipped her head. She would wait for the woman to stir before turning her best 'friendly' smile she could on. It wasn't her most well practiced expression. "Hello, have we met?" She asked easily, word flowing off her tongue with practiced ease.
Fortunately Novella was rather even-tempered, she hadn't been all that bothered at all by Vi's interruption. Her main goal had been to escape the heat of the sun, a task that she had achieved to an apparently more relaxing standard than she had previously aimed for. Still, she didn't really need the rest, the company was certainly welcomed, it was about time she got to know some of the other members of the pack a little more.
"Any relation to Song?" Surname of course wasn't the only thing the pair shared, there was certainly a resemblance in appearance as well, from the white fur and eye colours. Novella gave a nod of her head in response. "She is my sister." She explained simply. It was a fact that Novella certainly had no shame in admitting, she was proud of each and every member of her family, even the new ones that had yet to arrive. It looked as though those ones might well be growing up with Vi's children too, though Novella did not comment upon that fact.
"I'm Viridiana Sovari though most usually call me Vi. Have you been with the pack long?" Time had certainly flown by since she had originally reached the Ludicael borders about a year ago and first met with her sister, though that moment hadn't been when she had joined, it was merely the point that the idea had begun to form in her head. "A while now, a little less than a year. What about you?" She couldn't recall having seen Vi around the lands before, nor was her scent that strongly mixed with Ludicael. How new Vi was though Novella wasn't too sure and she thought that she might as well ask.
