So shake him out[joining]

Pressure, it built up from the inside out, and there was no escaping it. Alec had followed the scent of his niece, that had led him to this pack border. His gold eyes shining in the dim daylight of the rising sun. His black ebony fur, tainted with whites and grays as the man waited on the border. Tail cocked off to the side he was curiously observing every detail, every fine line around him. He seemed paranoid, but then composed himself, he was patient and would not come with rude intentions. Just one's of hope of being in a position same as his family was.
His head would tilt a bit in an arch, as he then settled himself, haunches hitting the ground with a thud. The male made quick word to steady his breathing, and to still to his calm almost sleepy like tensions. Not very outspoken, if not observant of everything around him. Ears cocked forward, he patiently waited and listened with his ears closed to those who would greet him.

Erani padded through her territory, deep blue gaze flicking from left to right, in search of plants to restock her den. In Summer, or at least, this Summer, the heat was a bit more oppressive, and a great deal of the vegetation, including herbs, was wilted from lack of rain. There was still plants though. Though she was now Alpha Primary of Valhalla, she did not intend for an instant to step back from her duties as a healer, It was her main calling, and what she was best at. A scent filtered over her nose, causing her to come tro a halt and turn her head into the breeze, jaw slightly lowering to allow the full strength of the scent to run over an exposed tongue while she took shorter sniffs, blowing air out through her nose to ensure a clear reading of the scent. Male, and a stranger, though there was a similarity to Vahva?s scent. Relative, maybe? She turned, taking off at a long trot, navigating the pathways of game trails and wolf tracks through the territory, sending up a low, close range howl as she drew near. She came upon the stranger, a dark male with golden eyes, one crossed over with a single scar, sitting patiently outside the border. He had white markings, and grey paws, save for one which carried white in place of grey. Deep blue gaze swept over him, gently reserved in expression as she greeted him. ?Good day, traveler. I am Erani Adravendi, Alpha Primary of Valhalla. What brings you to these borders this day?? Velvet tones were not unkind, but held enough steel to say that if he was here to cause trouble, he?d not find an easy target. Old she may be, but she wasn?t without some fighting experience. |

He would be greeted by an elder, a white woman with blue eyes. That was which her fur was still silked in her age, and she held no signs of being elderly anyway. Her scent and voice gave it away though as the signs. His tail made a flick, but he soon wrapped his face into a kind gentlemen smile. It was rather succulent, it was warming, and very comforting in it's nature. No doubt his voice the same. "I am Alec Walker, I followed my relatives scent here I wish to reside within your pack. My niece's name is Vahva. I am her uncle and one of many walkers." he was reminded everyday of the selfish, cruel things his father did to the world and his family. It was up to them to stick together even with how indifferent he was, quick to adapt but still ever so gentle with everything around him.
"I was a lord back where I lived, a fighter, supporter and occasionally would do simple healing practices on others. Though I'd prefer to be more of a fighter." He stated, like he had gone through this all before. Though it was unclear what the obvious state of his mind was. His fluffy fur relaxed, kindly waiting for Erani to judge him with her eyes over him. As he did easily blend in, he was not the good guy in his eyes. His blood boiled with evil, after his mother had tried to kill him it was obvious. The scar across his eye a constant reminder of the day he killed his best friend.

Thus far, the stranger was proving to be a gentleman. He had a nice voice, and she listened to his introduction and explanation, ears lifting slightly as he said Vahva was his niece. ?Were you Night?s brother, then? Or Sani?s? She was curious. He held no blue mane or red eyes like Sani, so her guess was Night. His pattern was closer to Night?s in any case. Or perhaps he wasn?t related by blood, just as she wasn?t related to Chrysanthe by blood. That Alec wished to join the pack also pleased her, and as he listed his abilities without being told to, she analyzed what he said. They could use able Gammas. Her eyes did indeed sweep over the male, noting musculature and posture. His lack of readily noticeable scars save for the one over his eye could mean either one of two things: He was a good fighter, and good enough to avoid bad injuries in a fight, or, he was lying and not a fighter at all, and thus unreliable in a battle such as a siege. Her deep blue gaze locked with his, and it was one of those piercing, deeply searching stares that seemed to run in the female side of her family. After a moment, she cocked her head, smiling. ?Welcome to Valhalla, Alec. I will be setting you as a Gamma, though wolves of each facet are expected to learn the other two skills as well as their main job. You, as a Gamma, are expected to learn Healing and Hunting as well. We are a family, and family works together.? She turned, her slow movement an invitation to walk alongside her for a ways. ?Allow me to show you a bit of our land?? |
