The morning sun shined brightly over the beautiful lake. The beaded dew was still fresh on each bead of grass, crickets still restless from the night played their sad violins quietly as the sun slowly rose in the sky. It was a thing of beauty, a scene that however beautiful Krylanceo would no longer see. It had been some time since he lost his sight but at this point in his life he had accepted it, embraced it even. His sense of smell for example had allowed him to sniff his way to this large body of water even with the scent of other wolves masking it. Raisa came upon the man on the lakes shore slowly, ears forward and eyes intent. He seemed calm at first appearance, so she felt no reason to become hostile. She was well used to foreign wolves encroaching upon her territory by this point; the lake was a popular site. As long as they meant no harm and did not poach her lands, she supposed she didn't mind. The man was very still, and did not seem focused on much of anything. As the queen approached, she made sure to create enough ruckus to be noticed. Some wolves, she'd found, were aggressive when startled and that was not something she felt like dealing with right now. Krylanceo heard the ruckus from afar and slowly turned his head in the direction he ears had picked up on. Though he couldn't see her, his nose found her scent. He was right to believe this was the territory of another pack and before him stood their queen. He didn't know it yet but he could feel her graceful presence radiate. " A strange one." Lapsus spoke in a high pitch which made Krylanceo slightly wince. As she greeted him he felt warm inside, he had not spoken with another wolf in sometime and the greeting excited him a little but he kept a calm composure in front of this new wolf. You are cursed to be alone in the darkness! The creatures words troubled him slightly but what troubled him more was his sudden statement. The man's demeanor was strange and took Raisa somewhat aback. There was something off about him, but the Queen could not place it right away.
