Ara's journey had taken her far from home. Her paws carried her to the east again. Even as a pup, she had been full of inquiry and curiosity -- never settling for the world before her, but always craving more. And while she was often more timid than most, her mind would not let her settle for inactivity and stagnancy. Her thirst for knowledge led her away from familiar lands, toward the place she had met Bhaire and had reunited with Novel. Though the landscape was very much the same, here, it seemed something else had changed.

The scent of unfamiliar wolves was strong, the markings of a border pungent in the air even before she approached it. A sigh would nearly leave her lips, as she shook her head, wondering when this had happened. The only two packs she knew of lived in different lands. She knew of Ludicael, where Novel and her family lived, and Valhalla, Seracia's dearest ally. Her interest had been piqued, no doubt -- but that was not the only reason she was here.

She knew she could run if the pack was of any threat to her, confident in her ability to steer clear from danger and make good judgements of character. After a long moment of deliberating, the girl would raise tan-furred muzzle to the sky, letting loose a gentle call to anyone who would speak with her.

So many scents rolled off of her pelt as she continued her frequent searches for plants and herbs. Lavender was what she was after this time. Marigold and lavender. She hadn't been paying attention to her surroundings... until she caught the scent of a wolf and her ears perked up. She was curious as to who could be lurking on or near their territory. The white Sola knight rushed off to the scene to see another healer standing there. She was a mix of black and white, icy blue eyes. "H-he-hello?" She asked with her usual stutter. She was nervous to be around loners and she wishes desperately that one of the Ebon knights were here, or even Raisa herself.

She was not one for confrontation so she just kinda stood there, stalks of lavender were in her mouth. She carefully set them down and sat down herself. She had to remain calm. Conceal don't feel. Conceal don't feel. Conceal don't feel. She repeated it to herself as the nerves started to get to her.

Despite having grown up in a pack, and despite knowing that packs held lands when they were able to inhabit them and defend them, it was strange to her that this place had so recently been a free land. She had been able to wander it freely, and now, here she was -- calling so warily to see if she might be granted permission to enter. It seemed much more fair to consider the world a free place, open for all to walk upon, but such was not the case. Ara was not the type to fight such restrictions, even if they struck her as odd, and so she would wait patiently for a response.

She would remained poised on the pads of her paws, ready to flee if she had to. She was oblivious to the kind of wolves right here, and unwilling to put herself in danger. She had parents to take care of -- they needed her as badly as she needed them. And yet her mind would wander as a female approached, her demeanor far from threatening. She looked nervous, almost, and Ara wondered why. "Hi," she started, tail flicking idly behind her form. Her stance was unassuming, but her eyes hardly blinked as she watched the stranger. "I don't mean to intrude..." the yearling started, hoping the lady wouldn't run her off. Ara watched as the woman set down a stalk of lavender, a smile teasing the corners of her lips. "I.. I was hoping I could speak to someone in charge?" She suggested gently.

Elsa listened to the woman who seemed to be nice enough. She was not very aggressive, she wasn't at all. She just wanted to speak to Raisa and she seemed to know that Elsa wanted to dart off by how she poised herself. Elsa gave a small and shaky nod before calling for the Queen. She howled it out into the sky. Queen Raisa, someone here wants to talk to you. She said all through her howl before looking to the girl. "I-I'm E-Els-Elsa." She said with a shaky tone, her eyes held her nervousness behind them. Conceal, don't feel.

The sun had begun to take a toll upon him, the heat strong against his frame and almost unbearable to last another minute. It also didnt help when he was cloaked in long matted fur, to help in colder days. It'd be all to soon until he begins to loose it. He would seclude himself within the shadows, his gazes picking away at a stranger fiddling between the borders upon Ebony. A youth, it seemed, and despite the thick scent within the air of claimed lands it seems shes turned a blind eye. Vaughan would watch for a little while, interested to see how it all folds out when another would enter the scene, some what nervous and detached. With a flick of his tail he'd rise to see the problem, his hackles raised and a heavy eye laid upon the rouge. " If we where not so sincere you would not still be standing, girl." He held no threat within his voice, but he lacked sympathy. " Whats your buisness with the queen? is there any way i could be of assistance?" His voice would be calm, almost understanding. His tail would be held high, wondering why she's risked treading upon here.

Ara was not stupid enough to cross the pack's rather distinct border, despite her youthfulness and slight naivety at times; she was not overly afraid of being run off the borders. The woman before her certainly seemed the last to assert her dominance, and so the yearling's stance would relax and a smile would grace her features. "I am Ara," she offered gently, her tones kind. But their meeting would be cut short by the presence of another, a brutish looking man with thick scars over his eye. Not all unlike her father, but his presence left her with an uneasiness that she never once had felt from Bronze.

He spoke, his words harsh and almost threatening. A slight frown would grace her features, but she would struggle to maintain the wariness she could not help but feel. "I am not stupid, sir," she explained carefully. "I would not dare intrude. I come seeing permission to enter, or perhaps be escorted in. I come seeking an herb that I have only found here." She was sure it could be found elsewhere, but she did not know how far she might have to travel. What she did know for certain, though, was that it could be found here. "I come from the Kingdom of Seracia. We live in the southern lands."

Her presence was far from a concern, infact it was rather welcoming. But, one should not be so comfortable with a... stranger. He'd smile, the girl was confident and yet polite, his tail would lower from his dominant position, his once tensed stance now relaxed. " I mentioned nothing of you being stupid, Its nice to see another ask for permission instead of just merely stealing." He'd chuckle, before listening to the real reason as to why she was hear. " Ill give you entry within reason, but first- why do you need this herb?" His brow would raise, knowing little about Seracia. Perhaps soon he'd have to go visit this kingdom his self to see its worth. Perhaps to seek an alliance? even if that is in the way future. His gaze would trail towards the placid woman, for only a moment, watching at what she was doing.

Elsa's ears perked up when the lady of Seracia spoke of needing an herb. Which one though? "Which herb is it you seek? I'm the Sola Knight here, to my knowledge the only one. I could fetch it from my extensive stores." She offered with a smile. Whenever the white knight got talking about herbs there was little stopping her. Her icy blue eyes were filled with excitement. This was her first real act as a Sola. Gathering herbs was great but helping others was why she did it all. Even if helping others was giving healers what they need to help others. The Ebon Knight that happened to be there was a bit irritating to her asking for a healer's reasons. That was one of the few things that really irked her.

Ara was unsure if they would be willing to let her into their home. The man that had approached -- who initially appeared rather serious -- seemed to lighten up considerably, even smiling. Her tail still hung limply behind her, showing neither dominance nor submission. The yearling was neither of these things; she simply was. "I would never intrude," she spoke honestly and seriously. She would never risk her safety over something so trivial. Except maybe if it was a matter of life or death.. for her, or someone she loved.

He questioned her then, asking why she needed it. She wondered if maybe he thought that it was some rare, highly valuable thing; it seemed strange she had come so far for a plant if it was not a dire situation. "I search for Wolfsbane," she admitted slowly, speaking to both of the Ebony wolves. "I have been here, many months ago, before your pack came to inhabit these lands. I need this herb for my father. It helps him sleep." It was a poison, too, if not used in small amounts or diluted with water. Not the safest of plants, but so effective as a sedative and in relieving his pain and anxiety and helping him sleep. Ara recognized it was a strange request, too, as Wolfsbane could easily be used to harm others. She could only hope they would not think that she was trying to trick them.

Wolfsbane? Elsa immediately narrowed her eyes in confusion as she was told what this wolf would use it for. Wolfsbane had only been used as a poison in her mind and she had never thought of it as anything else. "Just what kind of sleep do you plan to put him in?" She asked with a bit of horror mixed into her voice. Her eyes held an alarmed look and she looked taken aback. This wolf was coming to their borders and asking to trespass to get a poison that she would use to 'help her father sleep'. Elsa felt like this wolf thought she was stupid. She scoffed at the thought.

Wolfsbane was used for many things, to ease the pain of another, to poison and kill, and there where many more that not even he could name. The thing was, would she really use it for the right reasons? His large cranium would nod slowly, taking it in before letting her pass. " I do hope you only use it for the good, i wouldnt want to be made a fool." And with that said, he would step to the side, letting her enter for this time only. " I hope you dont mind if i assist you." One could never be to careful, for all he knew she could plot to attack, though unlikely- it was still possible. Wolfbane was used in there old pack to, for all sorts of things and he knew it was very much safe in the right hands. Outside of these borders are none of his concerns, and if he comes to learn of the misuse, he will not let another seek entry.

Though she knew her request was a risky one, Ara also knew she could run if these creatures proved dangerous. She knew nothing of these wolves, nor what they stood for, but thus far they were proving to be fine company.

She watched the slight fear etch itself onto Elsa's features as she admitted which herb she was searching for. "I am not planning to kill anyone," she explained carefully. Killing another with herbs went against everything she stood for. "I am a healer. I seek to ease pain and comfort, and nothing more." She was young, but learning rapidly, always hungry for knowledge. And while she knew Wolfsbane was a tricky herb, she knew a miniscule amount could bring great relief to her father. "My father is growing old, very old, and he does not sleep well. Wolfsbane is strong enough to help him rest when the pain is bad. It is not dangerous if chewed very lightly for very short periods of time, and not ingested. The juices will easily put a large wolf to sleep." Ara was not an expert on all herbs, but knew much about Wolfsbane. Of course, she would never try such a thing with a child or a very small wolf; it could easily be deadly.

Vaughn seemed much less wary of her, though still remained on guard, and with due reason. She was certain she would do nothing to alarm him or make him regret letting her entry. He suggested her remain with her, and she would not argue. "Of course," she said, offering a small and meek smile. "I don't know about the leadership here, but I do hope my appearance opens up conversation about a potential alliance with the Kingdom of Seracia." She didn't know much about politics, nor did she truly care -- but if these creatures were as decent as they seemed, it would help to have them on their side. "My parents do not hold high ranks in the Kingdom, so it is merely a suggestion..." Perhaps it wouldn't work at all, but it was worth a conversation, if nothing else. Carefully she would cross the borders alongside her new acquaintances, hoping that her words had eased Elsa's worried mind.
