Alone again, this was not well. She was doing fine in Ludi, if it weren't for her lust to explore these lands and now it was getting dark. The small dog had her tail between her legs as she stumbled across the sand. Until her snout hit water after tripping over her own paws. She gave a whimper, opening neon pink eyes in the dim light as she raised herself. The water was less than it usually was, seeing as there was little drought going on. The warm air hit her like nothing else, she shivered clutching her front paws together to try and find some sense of comfort.
She hated being alone, in a world of wolves she was not meant to be here and yet she was. Sha had only gone so far with the gods, and who knew if they took pity on her or not. She was shorter than the shortest wolves here, there would be no one shorter than her unless a companion or possibly of another dog breed which she had yet to see. What a horrible dream, what a horrible fate for the amnesiac tiger dog.

The quite of the approaching night was a shroud of peace that wrapped around the Valhalla brute. As with the presence of water he also loved the nights, listening to the sound of owls in the distance, the feel of the cooler night wind and the soft murmur of life that counted as silence in the nightly forest. He could hear the tinkle of water before he saw it, could smell its freshness on the wind. He had not caught the scent of the other creature near the water of yet, did not know of her presence until he could hear her frantic movements, hear the sound of her stumble and her whimper. Until the whimper he had thought it a creature of prey, had crouched, with a swish of his tail behind him as he considered his hunt. He had kept to complete silence until he had heard the lupin-sounding whimper and knew it was a canine he approached.

He stilled his movements, he was not within sight, the moment he thought her prey had kept himself down wind, but he ceased all such action against her now, listening intently to what had caused the whimper. He could see no source of her discomfort and so without approaching, so as not to startle he called out to her.

[color=silver] ?Young miss, is all well?? [color]

He still did not approach, simply cocked his head to the side and waited for her reply. He was ready to jump to her aid if she needed it, but he was not sure her pain was quite that external.

The small dog raised her ears, turning them curiously to the man. Oh great, hopefully he was nice, because it nearly looked like he was stalking her. She shivered though, and gave a sharp gasp before sighing. Oh great she was doing it again. The neon pink eyed dog made full contact with her. "N-Not, entirely." she said trying to smile through all her fear. Why did she had to be afraid of the dark. It was the most stupid phobia to have. Specially when she was alone, that was when it stroked.
"I...Um....do you mind staying?" Her eyes darted to two different directions. Company was all she needed until morning, and then she could return home where things would be better. This was the last time she did this alone. She needed to find a companion of some sort. Maybe like the other wolves she could gain a companion another animal and that'd make things better. Maybe.

He was closer now, he could smell the fear drifting off her and he took a moment to glance around, wondering what had startled to her so. Puzzled at finding nothing, he brought his gaze back to her, and noticed the strong, pink eyes that she levelled on him.

He heard the quiver in her tone, and his heart went out to her, something clearly frightened her.
?Of course I?ll stay, dear?
He said gently, and he moved a little closer, slowly so as not to startle her further into fright. He stopped a couple paces away and sat down, keeping his gaze on her, struggling to think what troubled her so. She didn?t look as though she had been attacked, there was no scent of another wolf on her, no sign that he could see of recent injuries. He looked into those troubled eyes and blinked, surprised.

?It?s the dark, isn?t it??
He was astounded; he was at home in the coolness of the night, with the silver light of the stars above him. He couldn?t imagine anyone being afraid of the calm serenity that came with the night.
?There?s nothing here to fear, I?ll stay until morning. I?m Alpine, what?s your name??
