She had ventured from their home, taking the afternoon to explore new lands. She had never been within these lands before and everything was new. Ebony kissed the earth, pulling her towards the mountain range. It had been pleasant, under the distant sound of rumbling assaulted her audits. It brewer closer and louder, and then suddenly the ground was trembling beneath her paws. Her lean bodice swayed, ears pinning against her skull. Limbs would spread, trying to stabilize herself. The mountains stood before her, the pass within her reach. The rocks groaned, shifting, grinding together. Her gaze would lift, widening with fear. She didn't understand what was happening, she had never experienced anything like this before. Pebbles would tumble down the mountain side, causing the girl to take a step back. Boulders would shift before plummeting to the earth. A desperate cry would roll off her tongue as she scrambled to get herself free of the downpour of rocks. She would scramble back , desperate to avoid the boulders that crashed down around her. A whine rumbled in her throat as chaos erupted. The earth screamed its rage, shaking violently, forcing more rocks free. A howl would force its way out of her throat, desperately calling for Ares. Rocks continued to build around, quickly blocking her path, locking her in a stone prison against the mountain side. Panic swelled in her chest as she frantically jumped around, trying to seek shelter. Talk like this

He had watched as Devya wandered from their new home, her luscious form disappearing towards the mountains. He had no choice but to follow her, the whole day he had felt a wrongness in the air and he didn't want her too far out of his sight. The large alabaster male would follow, but had decided to explore on his own. Finding his way into a cave the man had continued through it, his path lit by bioluminescent moss on the ceiling. Suddenly the ground would begin to rumble around him, the walls of the cave shaking and moving with the quake. Panicked he would rush towards the bit of sunlight peeking into an entrance. He would come upon Devya, her alert form dodging boulders that would threaten to crush her. The cave where he dwelt seemed stable, not a stone has come loose. He would roar over the screeching earth, "Devya, here!" he would coax her into the cave, his fur bristling as he saw rocks continuing their slide down the mountain. He was ready to spring, to push her out of the way if it was needed. She only had to get herself to the opening.?

Her name. It would echo in her skull, shifting her attention briefly from that chaos and onto Ares. Relief flooded her as her blue and green gaze found his lavender one. She would race towards him, keeping her bodice as low to the ground as possible. Panic kept her heart racing, her eyes wide as she collide with his pale form. She hit him hard enough to lose her footing and stumbling, tangling herself up in him and possibly knocking him back. Jaws parted, her breathing rapid, she sucked in air in small gasps, not removing herself from Ares. The earth had quieted, stopped its trembling, and slowly the mountain followed suit, boulders building up outside the cave. Slowly she would peer up at Ares, her body trembling lightly as she attempted to calm herself. Talk like this

He'd never seen such a relieved expression upon her face as her offered salvation from the crashing of loose boulders. Her reaction would be swift as she pushed on, keeping herself low and sprinting for the entrance of the cave. She was quick, and before anymore of the deadly rocks could fall she would collide into him. They would tumble into the cave, legs intertwining as he made an attempt to grasp her within his arms. She would not leave him as her panicked gasps would reach his ears, her heart was racing as was his. He knew how close he had come to almost losing her. She would tremble as her dual toned eyes would fall upon his own and he would push himself closer to her, to completely embrace her and keep her safe as the earth fell back into its slumber. "It's okay Devya, you're alright." he would nuzzle her as his relieved voice would whisper to her, "But I don't want to be here if it happens again." he wouldn't move until she was ready, but he hoped his reasoning would be enough for her to leave with him.?
