Senka twitched her ears, amusement her first reaction to the male's comment. She wagged her tail lazily, a controlled smile crossing her features. She almost managed to look flattered, with her tail wagging and her smile, but Senka really was hardly reacting to this male's words. Which wasn't his fault, really, considering how numb Senka was to the world. "I do agree with that," Senka mused, pricking her ears attentively towards the other. Her gaze locked on the white male as if he were the only thing of note in the area, though surely there were more interesting things to be found.
The male's words continued to fall from his maw as if he didn't have to put any thought into them. There was no audible hesitation, though Senka had to wonder. "We do seem to have that affect," Senka began casually, thinking wildly even as she spoke. She didn't want to be the one who looked obviously out of her league when it came to flowery comments and praise, which meant that she had to reply swiftly, but eloquently. "We could outshine the sun." Senka really had no idea what she was doing, but she was feeling it out as well as she could.
Flirting had never been something that she had been taught before, not like fighting and hunting had been. Ignis had never trained her in the art of seduction, and neither had her mother. What was one supposed to do? Ah well. The male lead the way well enough, and Senka was content to follow along, allowing him to shape the conversation as he saw fit. She was a chameleon - she could handle whatever he threw at her. And all the while, as she thought, Senka's gaze remained transfixed on the white male before her.

{but you can't escape the second attack} Though his compliments were flowery and eloquent, Senka didn't feel particularly moved by them. They were both playing a game, and while each half knew only their thoughts, they were both a little out of their league, it seemed. Senka was as cautious as ever, still feeling out the waters of this type of conversation. Flirtation would never come naturally to the gray and white female, she was confident of that much at least. "Senka. Just Senka," Hmm. Ray of light, huh? It was an interesting nickname, though Senka didn't particularly mind it. Still, now that he knew her name, she rather hoped he'd use it. And oh crap, there was something that she needed to say too, wasn't there? Curses, this would never come naturally to her. "And yours, handsome stranger?" Senka questioned easily, tone warm as she addressed the other wolf. She was curious about the identity of the stranger that she had so awkwardly flirted with. Perhaps this would serve her well to have experience with, however. That was the only thought that kept Senka even trying to stay afloat in this foreign experience. She was struggling, but she felt like she was getting a better grasp on it - or at least, she thought so. There seemed little else to say while Senka waited for the stranger's reply, and so she remained silent, not sullying the peace with wasteful words. |
