Bleeding love[epidemic thread]

He could feel his pace slowing the closer they got to Covari, unintentionally he was slowing down. Why he didn't know, but he could feel his body tiring more than it should have. By the time their forms were visible to the border he was walking. Exhaustion apparent as his tongue fell from his lips panting. Looking back for the first time at her form, breathing labored. "This is Covari, where you will belong." he'd sit back onto his haunches, letting his head back and summoning Orchid and Viridiana. He felt an awful chill go through him as he ended the call. It would push him to the ground. Suddenly he could no longer see, his vision became blurry and his eyes would begin to sting. He'd never cried for anything before, but from his optics liquid would pour. They were not tears of water however, red rivers of blood would run down his eyes as his form continued shaking. He was suddenly alarmed because something was very wrong with him.?

The woman had obediently followed the man back to the borders on his home. Silence had filled her the entire journey, for she would not speak unless commanded to. He raised a call for two wolves whom she did not know before introducing the lands as Covari and she was directed that it was her new home. She simply nodded in an obedient understanding. It was then that blood started to pour from his eyes and she nearly jumped out of her fur. "Master?" She let the words plead from her lips. Was it the same disease that took her former master? No, her former master had not bled from his eyes.
Her multicolored fur was flat against her back, she cowered slightly as she looked to him. as a slave she had learned the basics of healing so she might be able to aid her master in his times of sickness but she knew no herbs for what she was witnessing. Oh no, would she be accused of making such terrible things happen to the master?

A howl would call her to the border ? not any normal, boring call from a stranger but the one from her brother asking for her and their leader to meet him at the border. She was quick to obey, fisrtly grabbing a few basic herbs in twirling the leaf that carried them into her fur as had become her habbit. This done she bounded to the border to find her brother. Her steps light and happy as she thought of the boy that was her world, and thought of all she needed to tell him of what she had learned ? not the mention the herbs to boost his immune system that she had already decided upon after hearing news of the epidemic.
She arrived before him, with a shocked expression of horror to her pretty face. She was too late.. she had failed him. She blinked rapidly as she took in her brother, her eyes almost missing the stranger hovering near, and their sibling as well. The healer dismissed them all in the wake of this emergency by. ?Dont touch him? she snapped, her self hate manifesting into anger in her tone, they weren't entirely certain if it was contagious where where beginning to suspect it was not, but either way, this stranger was not touching him.
?Scorpion... my Scorpion? she whispered, crouching before his face and taking in the full extent of it. ?I don't know the herbs to fix this, all I can offer are herbs to boost your immune system and to ease any pain you might be feeling? she murmued gently to him.

The dame had mostly been brooding around, her swollen belly a heavy weight for her to carry around. She was still not too far in, but her stomach had protruded enough that she got looks from everyone else. She was part of the pack, but she tried to keep as much distance from them as possible. It was only when Scorpion's howl sounded out that she perked her ears, taking note that something was not right. A whine slipped past her cream muzzle and she ran for the sound, ran to see what could be affecting him. There had been wild whispers of a sickness spreading through Alacritis, but she had believed them to be just rumors. Nevertheless she was worried, the emotion displaying itself in her violet eyes.
By the time Othello made it to the scene there were already quite a few wolves. There was Orchid, and a strange male and female. The male smelled of Covari, so she wasn't too concerned. But the female, the way that she was standing by Scorpion made her hackles stand on end. She was about to growl when she finally took in Scorpion, how he was laying and the scent that hovered around him. No... Blood caked under his eyes, his beautiful golden eyes clouded and blurry. A sharp whine came from the mother to be and she trotted over to him. The dame was about to reach out, but hesitated. She so wanted to touch him, to comfort him, but the concern for their pups weighed on her mind. Taking in the other wolves around her, her ears lay flat against her skull in her unease. "What's going on here?" She asked, her vocals soft and full of worry.
The dame glanced over Scorpion, wanting to whine but swallowing the sound. He was supposed to be her protector, to watch over her. She didn't know what to do without him. Lifting a paw, she hovered it over his head, longing to touch him but something made her place it back down on the earth. Looking at Orchid, she licked the dame on the ear. They had seemed to grow a bit closer over the duration of her time here. "Can I help?"

Orchid was kneeling before her brother, concern etched into her expression. She was a silly carefree thing these days with her new job as healer within the pack. All of that washed away in the face of her fear for her brother. The wolves around here where crowding her, stressing her and she was just about ready to snap her jaws their way ? another thing that was far out of character for the timid little girl.
She was beyond stressed as she looked into the bloody eyes of her dearest boy, the only person in her world that truly made sense and mattered to her. A touch to her shoulder would make her realise she was shaking, and it would do something to calm her. She switched her gaze quickly to her other brother, her eyes meeting Sol's with a shaky smile of thanks before her attention returned to Scorpion's form.
Scorpion himself seemed unfocused, unable to fully grasp the situation as he told them about the 'slave' that she was for Orchid. Her brows furrowed and she made soft shushing noses as she moved her head closer to him. ?I'm going to give you some herbs Scorpion, and it would please me greatly if you ate them? she said softly.
Othello was next to intrude, she opened her fangs to warn the pregnant damn off, to yell at these wolves for crowding her as healer and her brother the one in need of her assistance. Instead, Othello would gently lick her ear and offer her assistance. ?Yes? she said quietly to the other, already knowing exactly what she would ask to get the woman who cared her brothers children away from this sickness before she could endanger her young, and it was something that orchid actually needed. ?Get Vi, ask her if she can meet us at Scorpions den ? she's seen this before and I have not? Despite the soft tones she scowled at her own reminder that she was out of her depths here ? she hated that. She stuck her nose into the little leaf twirled into her coat and brought out some herbs, to boost his immune system and to make him more sleepy and at peace. She nuzzled his mouth gently and tried to feed them to him from her own tongue. Weather or not he accepted, she would then proceed to place herself beside her brother, her eyes flicking to her brother Sol, and their slave. ?One of you take his other side, we are taking him to our den? with two wolves holding him up even if he was totally out of it she was sure they could manage,

He could barely see orchids face through his clouded vision, however what he could see of her was starting to melt. "Oh, god, Orchid. Your face. Is melting." despite the awful feeling the sickness gave him Scorpion found himself laughing at the concept. It was a creepy breathless laugh from a wolf crying blood. But it was totally a laugh. He'd support the weight of his head, bringing it up so he could look at his sister better. He'd look to where the other voices were coming from. Suddenly there were three more Orchids. "Orchid, why do you have so many twins." too much exertion would cause him to fall back to his sister's paws. She would move his mouth, somehow with her melting face, and he was suddenly chewing. He didn't have any idea what it could be but it tasted fancy. "Orchid, this tastes amazing..."?
