Perhaps he would have been dead by now, had his mind not been so ever-determined to remain. Through the violent shaking of his fevers and the rolling sweat that had began to rot within the creases of his pads, a demon of vibrant health and writhing determination would shake and slap at his dwindling soul; flicking chilled waters of hatred upon the weaker body it felt so entrapped within, fighting it for a shared consciousness. Whispers had pried him from his den, his infection now ceased thanks to the tending of Eris; though the wounded capsule of his body still fought for its previous vigour, not quite the man he was those few weeks ago. Brow was furrowed against the dulling light, lips parting as a seal of dried saliva had formed against the cherry surfaces, brittle within the lack of practise of his speech. Though even still the ghoul would manage only the sweetest of utterings, a call for his queen that was as pure as a babes cry for his mother?s love.

ooc; Sendoa, and one or two (no more!) relatives/close-known members.

The call would bring an ache to his heart like no other, his brother who he so dearly missed had called for Sendoa but still as it be he wished for an audience with him from pure worry. An emotion savored for few within the man's heart, such as Sendoa. And of course he was certain while he had not seen his brother since upon joining his sister would have shared his coming with Isardis. There was no way she wouldn't, the joy he had would not simply be replaced. The tail-less monster would rise himself and head towards the call. Muscles rippling underneath his frame as he stood a few feet away from the man's den. He was not nervous, standing tall, he saw the albino frame of his longed brother. Who maybe remembered him from younger years the pup who would follow him around in awe. He sincerely hoped Sendoa would have told him about Etern.
"Isardis." The words would leave his lips ever so delicately, like a simple red glass flower that he was afraid to drop otherwise it would break. His paws pressed on as he longed for a simple touch, to be granted to press his snout to his brother's cheek. It could easily be rejected, and in which he would throw not fit over. But these feelings of worry would not be easily drifted away. Isardis was family, just like Sendoa, and they had done him a service he could never repay. So hopefully he would be accepted with open arms.

The heat of sickness was strong. And Sin knew the status of his father since his brief appearance in the last meeting they had not too long ago. Was his time coming to leave this world? Or would he not bow down to the gods and fight back like the warrior he claimed to be? Sin had not seen his father fight, and so the claims began to appear as nothing more then old wives tales. Nonetheless, the male would decide to see his father, however much the albino beast distrusted him, Sin was still loyal to blood when he wished to be...no matter how much he loathed it at times. With a sigh of annoyance at his ever changing mind, the beast would pull forward and follow the scent of sickness and decay, his amber gaze falling upon another figure he knew to be a relative, though he hadn't really met him. Bloodstained figure would stop a few feet away, preferring not to stray too close to Isardis for the want to remain healthy was strong within his mind, as well as the preference to avoid the albino's personal space unless otherwise instructed. He had not seen his father in some time, save for the last meeting though it had not lasted very long.

He would stop a couple feet from the other male, venomous glare as harsh as ever, though that part of him could not be helped. Tail flicked behind him for a brief moment as he observed his father, wondering if he was close to death or fighting the reaper for his life. If he himself were in that position, he would fight with everything he had, until he was ready to leave the earth willingly...or if someone ripped out his throat, which he knew many wanted to do. "Father.." He would say no more then that, unsure as to what his father was calling for. Although he knew that Sendoa would be arriving soon, she was usually never too far...Then again, she was quite the busy woman now that she ran the pack alone.

The weathered Queen had been just a bit off her rocker lately. At one point she had thought herself so capable of leading that it would be nothing short of breathing and looking the part - now, she was not so sure. She had only imagined it would be a few weeks at most and then Isardis would take the helm once more, but it had been nearly a season since the King had worn his crown. Would he ever stand before them again? Sendoa gave a gasp as his voice rang out for her, pleading for her presence. Immediately she would hasten to his side, precursed only by Etern and Sin. She breathed a sigh, though it wasn't entirely of relief. Isardis still looked unlike his usual self. ?My love,? she breathed. At least he was out and about. She practically flung herself to his side, doing her best to ensnare his neck with her own. If permitted, she would never let him go.

Alas, if only she had known the pain she was so willingly walking towards; a woman of strength, a woman he had trusted to hold his wishes and follow the guidance of all he had previously laid out before. No, she had woven her fingers into his trust wholly to abuse it; purely to rip apart what he had been working for for so long. Enemies were enemies, they did not become friends after they murdered your own people, they did not become trusted after the war that had waged and the blood they had shed. Had they cowered and denied attacks, perhaps they would have proven themselves worthy of forgiving (if not just of weakness), but no; they had stood to the occasion and fought, it was a choice they had made and a choice they would eternally suffer.

Sendoa probably had no clue to the knowledge that scuttled within the folding of his burning brain, even through the forgetfulness of his ailments the whispers of chosen voices had filled his ears with a burning despise for her choices. She came to him, however late compared to the hastened arrival of a barely-familiar man and Sin. ?Neither of you will be required, take your leave,? calm he was, however blunt and encouraging; watching the male duo for only a few moments before he would turn back to his queen. She attempted to shelter him, to press her neck against his own, and he allowed it; but he did not seek to lean to her as he had all those times before.

?What have you created, Sendoa?? the words began to fray towards the end of his sentence, bottled emotions that were previously shielded by his lack of health; an anger shuddering beneath bars, so desperate to break free and yet somehow restrained by his lust for her. ?Why do you tear morals apart as if it is all you know to do? Do you care so little for your people, do you wish that Vixe?s death had of been in vain?? My, the boys name had not been brought up before, but to Isardis, the youth?s serving to him, his loyal death at the filthy paws of a Valhallan was unforgettable? as much as it was unforgivable. He had been shredded, mercilessly and heartlessly, and such a crime was never to be forgotten, for as long as the Valhalla remained intact. Plots already brewed of his return, however brief it may be. If Sendoa didn?t right it herself, there was no predicting the wrath that would do it for her.

The Queen knew very little of what she'd walked into. Granted, she had some idea that Isardis would not be thrilled with the things she had done lately, but in his absence there had been decisions to make. Decisions that she would have to stand upon - or falter completely. His biting voice filled the air, encouraging both Etern and Sin to take their leave. She shuddered involuntarily, sensing a tension that was oh so palpable in the air. Expecting him to recoil, she found herself surprised as her warmth met his - but he felt nothing like he once had. ?I-? her voice quaked, feeling a sense of dread rise up within her breast. She had walked to her own hanging. ?Being at odds with Valhalla forevermore will do little to bring Vixe back,? she voiced - more confidently this time. ?You don't know the circumstances.? You don't know anything, she thought to utter out of spite and frustration. He had left her in charge, and even if he believed she'd made a mess of things it wasn't entirely her fault. She recoiled from him, her brow furrowing and her tail lashing behind her.

He would not be granted the touch he longed for, but he understood. It had been years since Isardis had seen him, he had merely been a child. And as of now, he had bigger problems to attend to. His kingdom, and his wife, as such Etern would raise his head without any other emotion of the sort. Though he would turn towards Sendoa and give her a look as one as any saying good luck to his sister. His rump bumping her slightly since he no longer had a tail to serve as a emotional tie, to take his leave. Respect was eyeful as ever, he was not needed here as much as he wanted to catch up with his brother and hear his stories of greatness. He was not a child, and however so as he was would leave without another word.

He was disappointed down to the last string of pulsating sinew, horrified in his mind and enraged in his body. And yet he would almost appear calm as he confronted her, sickeningly so; as if something were missing from the sentiment that constructed his mind. He didn?t want her to explain, for no words she could give him would satisfy. ?Bring Vixe back?? a blind cackle rumbled from his lips, suddenly eerie and menacing, ?I do not beg of a miracle, Sendoa. I am not a man who prays for rainbows and wishes for the sun. They committed a crime to me that can never be undone, and for the suffering in our member they can deserve no less; they are the enemy and will forever remain the enemy. In ending a life they ended any hope of forgiveness, any hope of mercy. This battle will stand for as long as my children and their children are breathing, you are not the gid here; you will never undo the damage they have cast upon us, and I am ashamed to know you have forgiven them for ripping out the heart of a man who knew no less than loyalty??

But he would pause, eyes burning with a hatred of his realisation, ?But forgive me Armada, you wouldn?t have know of his departure; while our people fought for your own safety you retreated from the blaze with your tail between your thighs, enthralled by your fantasies of a boy you could not have. Perhaps if you had stood and fought as others did, perhaps if you had of witnessed the thrashing jaws of a Valhallan spilling a youth?s jugular you would have had more thought towards your selfish actions.? Hackles bristled, but he turned from her, perhaps exposing his weaknesses to her, daring her to lash at him. ?Your leadership is not needed any longer,? such a simple phrase to peel the crown from her head, she would remain his queen for now, but to hell if she?d ever see the position of a primary for as long as he were sane. He would leave.

-- exit unless Sen does something drastic. ;D We just need her to accept that Isar is primary Anders, so Athena can take over. Unless the plans have changed on the Sen side, baha.

He spat venom at her, icy venom that she wished would just kill her and rid her of her pain altogether. He hated her, she knew it, and she would never again feel his warmth. Her mind told her things, took her thoughts and made them worse, warped them into something ugly - evil. He chastised her about things he did not fully understand, and she bit her tongue - hard. He relinquished her powers, stripped her of everything she held dear, and left her bare and broken. As he turned to leave she twisted her bodice the other way, moving to flee his gaze, flee Glaciem altogether.
