The newly made Alpha had a lot of work to do ahead of him, with refreshing the scent border and ensuring all was well within the pack territory. More than this, he needed to meet the wolves of Covari. He wanted to know who had found a home within this pack and well he wasn?t certain how longer he would be Alpha here, he would still be a high ranking Beta when Vi returned from her travels. He would make his way into the heart of the Range, and did so without running into another soul. Uncertain what called on the attentions of the others he would settle himself on his hunches and let a soft howl sooth against the air about him.



His cool was a general one, a howl into the day that might encourage other wolves to seek him out. He was curious to learn about his wolves, to know what ranks they were in and how they went about making Covari there home. His call welcomed all and any to his side.

"Speech"

The lady laid asleep in her den. It was a hollow tree. Her back was pressed up against the cool wood. Her tail was fluffed up against her brittle body. She was cold, but not freezing. Her thick winter coat was at its fullest. Deep ebony hues invaded more then ever. Yet, when she heard the baritone call of her temporary leader the bitch let her metallic eyes pop open. The beta gathered herself, letting forth a long luxurious yawn before standing up within her tiny den. Herbs and bones resided within the cavern. She dug it out a little bit to meet her liking. Though, she stepped from her home and breathed in the brisk air with delight. Her nose twitched and her eyes shut for a few moments as she embraced the chill. Svanerna then let her tired body take her to the man. It was a very welcoming call for the darker boy. She was curious, as always. But, it was her duty as the beta to meet the calls of her brethren. Though, as she padded up the girl had her little grin spread across her inky lips and her tail swayed softly upon her rear. With a dip of her head she greeted him softly, "Hello, Crucifix." She sat to the side and waited for him to announce why he called her there.

His call would be meet with an answer, and none other than the Beta would be before him. A grin would welcome its way across his muzzle as he watched her approach. This was perfect, he didn?t know the Beta very well and this would beta perfect chance to get to know her. He assumed he would be returning to Beta when Vi returned, and would once more be her equal. Partly for this reason and partly for her superior age over him he treated this woman with respect.



?Svan, it?s good to see you? he would say warmly as she took her seat to the side and waited a moment in silence, in which another grin would false across his muzzle. ?This wasn?t a formal summons, I was just curious to better know Covari? he would easily admit as he shuffled his seating to fully face her. ?How are you finding Covari? Any changes or input you would like to suggest?? He would continue, keeping it informal but also embracing what knowledge she might have.
