The Alpha boy was becoming accustomed to his paces in Covari, to checking the borders and ensuring all was well within his pack. He knew he didn?t have full power over Covari, could not deem that a person had worked their way into a higher position as it was not his power to give, he was temporary alpha in Covari. He loved Vi, and he adored the pack she had created but he was beginning to like the responsibilities laid upon him, not the power per say but the ability to make a difference in a pack. To decide pup training and who had worked their way through the ranks.



It was a thought that was still barely forming, his loyalties to Vi where rock solid no matter where his heart might lead him. Vi had found a way into his heart, in a way no family or lover had before. They weren?t together, so the power she held over him was strange, and indescribable.
The boy shook his head free of Vi as he continued his rounds, his thoughts where building up to something but he still couldn?t quite say what it was that held its power over him now.


"Speech"

It had been forever since she visited Covari. Russet limbs would carrying her towards the range, a small smile playing on her lips. She would pause briefly at the border, verdant gaze sweeping the familiar lands. A bark would leave her maw, announcing her presence before taking a slow step into the range. She knew that Vi and her had an agreement about entering each others packlands, a right that was reserved solely for them and a few others. A familiar cologne would fill her nose, pulling her in an entirely different direction. Paws would press silently into the ground as the Queen followed him silently. Thick plume swayed idly behind her as his familiar pelt came into view. She would follow silently until he noticed her presence, no matter how long it took. A smirk continued to play on her lips, tattered ears standing at attention. If he took too long then she wound bound forward, aiming to bump her shoulder against his hip. She had missed him, and hadn't seen Cru since the cure was found. She had heard Vi made him Alpha, but hadn't come to congratulate him until now. "Talk" "You" Think

He wasn?t near the border when the familiar howl sounded out from it boundaries and head would raise to listen to the call. Tail would begin a light wag behind him and a smile would take his form as he recognised the voice that uttered it. Sibelle was an old friend of Covari, of Vi and of Crucifix himself. She was a woman who would always be welcome within these borders despite now being a proud leader of another pack, a sister pack to this one in fact.



He would begin to head in the direction she had sounded from, prepared to give him a welcome into Covari. He would slip right past her before he noticed, with her light prowl as she stalked him through the terrain that was familiar to her as it was to him. It would be her scent that gave her away as he realised with confusion that it was all about him now. He would turn to find her form stalking his own. As he met eyes with her she would move forward and bump his shoulder and a soft chuckle would escape his lips. ?hello Alpha of Arcanum? he would tease her.


"Speech"

He would turn, a chuckle rolling off his lips as he teased. A grin creased her lips as she stepped forward to bring herself beside him. She would laugh softly with him, aiming to bump her against his neck. "Hello, to you too." She would tease him back lightly, more amused than anything. "Its been to long." Winter still had a hold of the land, snow still blanketed the ground, though it was slowly warming, but the only thing that didn't fade was her heat. The sweet perfume still clung to her pelt heavily and surrounded her like a bubble. But no longer was her mind clouded by desire and uncontrollable need. At the time, it was the farthest thing from her mind, though she knew Crucifix would notice. The Queen would smile, words teasing him lightly. "You haven't come to visit yet." She would feign and pout briefly, feigning hurt feelings. "Talk" "You" Think

The two had gotten along since the very start, her teasing nature had worked well with his own.. which had led to an interesting night. Some things had changed, like their stations and places in the world, but the rest of it was still the same. She would bump gently against his neck and he would in turn rub his check against her side. He would shuffle himself onto his hunches before her now, tilting his head and eyeing her playfully as she spoke. ?it has? he readily agreed, his tone warm and welcoming.



The woman would make a show of being upset with his absence and he would shake his head with a grin. ?With recovering from the sickness and being thrown into babysitting Alpha it?s been a busy while? he would admit, before leaning his own head closer to her and brushing lips against her ear. ?But I am sorry ? he purred, the intoxication of her scent bringing out his playful side.

She would follow his example and recline onto her haunches, he would agree briefly, and she would smile. She couldn't really be mad at him, she had known that he was sick, and now he was ruling a pack, even it was temporary. He would lean forward and she would welcome his proximity, even as his lips teased her ear, and his breath tickled the fine hairs. She would smile as he apologized. "How will I ever forgive you?" She would tease him back, her words a gentle whisper. Salmon tongue would snake out to sweep across his cheek. He had always had an intoxicating presence, one that often brought out her playful side. Slowly the stresses of ruling slipped away and she found herself just enjoying being in his company. Momentarily forgotten was troubles of starting a pack under a new ruler, forgotten was the stresses of making sure everyone was fed and healthy. The russet Queen leaned into his every touch, her tail subtly swishing across the ground happily. "Talk" "You" Think

The taste of her was on his tongue and burning his throat, of course the winter season was yet to end and the burning intoxication of her heat, even if it was waning with the season was still a presence about her. Her grin would invite his touch and he would gently lip the top of her ear, tugging it gently between his lips before laughing softly through his now partly opened jaw. It had been her words that had brought on the laughter, he would speak in low tones, his breath teasing against her cheek with each word. ?I could think of a few ways... to bring your forgiveness? he purred. Her own tongue would sweep his cheek, and her body would lean towards him as through seeking his touch. He would not disappoint her, but swish his tail gently against her rear, and brush his shoulder fur against her side until goosebumps would rise beneath his own fur. ?Lets forget the world today? he whispered, his own duties as alpha forgotten, pushed aside in her presence. Every single touch set her skin fire. His breath remained hot on her face as his suggestion sparked a flame of desire that flared wildly in her belly. A needy growl would vibrate in her throat softly as his tail thumped lightly against her. The promise to forget the world hung between them, and then Queen wasn't about to pass it up. A seductive smile curled her pale lips as she would rise, twisting to curl around his chest, her skull tipping up so that she could place her jaws next to his ear. "Then make me forget." Jaws would part as she gently nipped at his ear. Her tail would sway behind her, excitement rolling down her spine as impatience settled in her stomach. She didn't know why he had such a power over her, or why he had this affect on her, but he did. And probably always would. For now, they were just two wolves, playing lovers until the sun would set and a new started, only then would they be forced to pick up their duties and part ways. Her body would quiver as she rubbed against ruthlessly, demanding that he take her away from this place, and into world of bliss and pleasure. "Talk" "You" Think

There would be a heat between them and his toungue would loll freely from his lips as he rubbed his cheek against the girl. The fire of her scent was warming his blood and his breath would be hot against her fur. He knew his body craved and wanted this, Sib was a very attractive girl, and one that seemed to equally crave his touch as much as his body craved hers. His eyes would skim across her form, taking in the vibrantly dark tones of red as she moved forward and in turn nibbled at his own ear. The gentle tug caused the boy to gasp and a soft purr escaped his lips as he rubbed his cheek again her own, enjoying the gentle tug of short fur there that caught against her own.



He took in the scent of her again, the heavy mix or hormones and excitement. His lips would part gently and he would draw it into himself. His eyes would partly close and her red would swim in his vision, become brighter, more vibrant and alive and all he could think of was raspberries...



The boy would draw away quickly, a beat of sweat against his forehead where before it had been smooth and his breath would gasp out of him. He would shke his head to free it of the vision but it was too late, it had taken hold. His excitement died and his expression would become apologetic as he tore his gaze from the earth and back to Sib. ?I feel dizzy all of a sudden? he said with a half laugh.

Everything was going perfectly. He returned her kisses, and leaned into her touch just as she did the same to him. Desire clouded her mind and pulled heavily at her limbs. And suddenly, he would jerk away from like a plague. Confusion would sweep across her features, she would take a step back, feeling momentarily hurt. What happened? Was there something she didn't know about? But he would gasp, his gaze dropping the ground. A half laugh would follow his words as he claimed to be dizzy. An almost inaudible sigh rolled off her tongue. "Have you eaten anything today? Or had something to drink?" She wanted to make sure that he was okay, she didn't want something to happen to him. "Do you want me to get Orchid?" Concern filled her verdant gaze, though she didn't take a step closer. Her body still quivered with unsatisfied desire. "Talk" "You" Think

God, the boy felt even worse when Sib responded with concern, and offered to fetch their healer. The boy would let a soft sigh escape his lips, wonder how he got himself in such a mess. Who was he to say no to a good time after all? And this was Sib, a woman he admired for her beauty and her powers, he could scarcely believe himself that he was pulling back from this. Yet, there was something else, a thought tugging at the back of his mind that he couldn't either fully identify nor dismiss. This thought would remain, and he would not be able to find it in him to return to the playful games the pair had been at a moment early.



?No, I wont trouble Orchid with it? he would say, after all there was little the healer could do when it was subconscious, of the mind and not the body. ?I guess your just too hot for me to handle? he would tease and would move forward to bump his head against her side in a more friendly gesture rather then romantic. ?How are you holding up Sib? he would ask, not just to direct the questions away from himself but because he cared, cared for more then just her body, but for actually for the girl as well.

His thoughts seemed to travel else where before he answered, stating that Orchid would not be needed. He would try to crack a joke and lighten the situation, but he would only get a half hearted smile from the woman, a smile that she attempted to make look genuine. He would change the subject entirely, clearly stating that they were done. She would play long for the time being. "I've been managing." She would never admit to him the loneliness that tugged at her heart most nights. She hadn't even shared it with Vi. The Queen would begin to carefully pick up her battered emotions and place them in a box, readying to have them tucked away until she was alone. "How have you been doing?" She was a Queen, she was well versed in small talk. The question rolled easily off her tongue, though it lack the same exuberance. She would recline onto her haunches, keeping the distance between them. She would remain balanced on her legs easily, not entirely relaxed. Her body struggled to calm down and relax.
