His tall form would find its way back to the den where Othello and their children found themselves fast asleep. He'd grin slightly as he pushed himself back to her side. Though he wouldn't call her his mate, he couldn't deny the amount of devotion he held for her. She had been the one worthy of his firstborns, he could never forget that. Nuzzling into her neck he wouldn't try to keep her asleep. He'd hoed her strength had returned, he knew she was improving since the birth. How much better was still debatable. For weeks he had craved her body, the closeness of laying beside her was never enough.
