Olympus pack meeting! Deadline to post is June 24th! All members are expected to attend (:
They have not held a meeting for quite some time, and it is most important that they hold one. She is assured that her children are on the tracks to safety, and thus secure enough for her to not fret over them constantly. She fears that the illness that has plagued her little ones will not be the end; that the worst is yet to come. Long limbs carry the Empress onto an elevated perch, and a vociferous summons howls from within her chest. She reclines, ready to look upon her subjects warmly. There is much news to deliver, to her family and to her pack mates, and she hopes that the response to such news will be good. |

A pleased smile touched the russet woman's features when she heard her niece's call. Even in her heart ache and loneliness, it pleased her that there was finally a meeting being called. It was about high time that the proud pack that was Olympus pulled itself together and forged on now that the epidemic had been stopped in its tracks. She pulled herself onto her paws and for the first time in several days moved with a good bit of spring in her step. Ever since Conan seemingly disappeared she had found it hard to convince herself to do much of anything, but maybe this meeting would be just the thing to bring herself out of this darkness. She arrived to see her niece raised up above where the rest of the pack would soon gather. She was glad to see one of Virgil's sons was also there. She dipped her head in greeting to the both of them before settling down on her haunches, hoping that no one would notice how she had begun to thin from her lack of hunting as of late.

She had taken to following her mother by placing her nose upon the woman's rump and listening for varied footsteps. She would usually avoid most any obstacle this way and had come to learn their territory rather well. Natalya had also offered to guide her, and Gaia had accepted. The older woman had done well to boost the young princess's confidence, and it was not long before she could get around the territory on her own.
She would hear her large brother stir, and Heph would not offer to help her as he usually did. The sickness had taken a toll on all of them, but she especially feared for her kind-natured brother. Her steps would follow him as she too took in their mother's call, her paws falling in behind his path.
Ashen form would emerge, she would hear only three wolves breath upon the air as she entered the clearing. She would be drawn to her mother's side, but as the elevation of the ground increased she would halt. Taking a seat at her side, but at the bottom of her hill.

First to come is Hephaestus, and the Empress offers her son a warm glance. Next to come is Phoebe, who earns a warm yip from the alphess, despite herself. She cannot help the warmth she feels towards family, especially ones who have been long missing from her grasp. Her heiress comes next, Virgil smiling upon the frame of the girl. Oh how her children have grown; they are all so beautiful, and soon they will need to be sent off into the world.
Natalya comes soon afterwards, and Virgil offers her aunt a solemn nod of the head, feeling the grief of Hermes?s loss as well. Alas, she feels terrible that she had been too caught up in the loss of her own children to focus on how it must feel for her Aunt to lose one, but now she realizes. A stranger, albeit one who smells of Olympus, comes next. Helios soon after, requesting permission to say something. ?Of course,? she grants.
So many would come and arrive, and she would greet each, even the unexpected, with a warm sort of look and interaction. Finally, the Empress deems it is time. ?Olympians,? she calls. ?Thank you for answering. Unfortunately I do not bring you all the best of news with this meeting; one of our own, Hermes, has passed. With permission from my Aunt and Uncle, I would like for there to be a service in his honor,? she notes, offering Natalya a saddened sort of smile.
?We will all remember and miss him,? she says, and she means it. The void feels heavy within her chest, demanding to be felt. ?However, there is also good news. We have allied ourselves with Viridiana, the alpha of Covari after she provided us the cure. In turn, I will be speaking with our Oracles about arranging a marriage between one of my children and one of hers,? she informs the pack. Her jaws waver for a moment as she debates what she needs to say next. ?Ebony and Olympus are no longer allies with the departure of Raisa. If any of you have interest in alliances with other packs, please speak up. I will do my best,? she tells the crowd, head then dipping towards Helios to share his news.
