With Novel pregnant and Canta currently with Song, Dutiron had decided that it was time to for him to call a little hunt for the younger members of the pack. He had gotten Frith involved to give him a slow introduction into pack hunts as well, it would also be a chance for the young man to spend some time with someone other than Novella, Dutiron hadn't yet seen him socialising with the rest of the pack.

He would lift his head and let out a call for Frith and his grandchildren to join him. Hopefully they would all show though he had a suspicion that one or two might not be so keen on the idea of this group thing, especially with their parents not accompanying them as well. He didn't intend to push them too hard though he certainly hoped that they would come out of their shells a little more. Some of them even made the younger him look rather confident.

Dark paws would carry him towards the sound of Dutiron's voice, it had only been but a few days since he'd spoken to the man. In that time he'd confessed his love to Novella, but neither of them had thought to tell her parents just yet. He'd bathed himself in the falls after their night within the cave, the scent that clung to them had been strong. He had no intentions of alerting anyone to what had happened in the cave just yet, hopefully this hunt would put him further into Dutiron's good graces before the news was let out.
So he would heed the call, quickly finding his place by the alpha, though far enough away to give him respectable distance. Frith was still not overly confident in his skills, but he hoped to prove himself today. He could hunt on his own with no problem, how he would do against larger prey with the pack, or a bunch of pups, by his side would be a different story. "Good day sir," He would nod respectfully as he wondered if Novella would be expected to attend as well.

The first of the children to arrive would be none other than the younger Dutiron. His mother had mentioned the lessons that he would begin at her final meeting though various things had gotten in the way as of late that meant that the Destruction child hadn't yet had a chance to have any formal lessons with his siblings or cousins. It was a fact he wasn't overly pleased about though wouldn't halt his learning in any way, still the questions, the search for knowledge would continue with or without the help of the philosophers or plots of the pack.

Now though his grandfather would call out beckoning the drafts of the pack to attend a meeting or something anyway. Eagerly he would answer the call. His life had been too quiet as of late, the epidemic, the death of his brother and disappearance of his mother and one of his elder siblings. He wasn't however he discovered upon coming to a halt before his grandfather and namesake, the first wolf to arrive here. The darker male at the elder Dutiron's side certainly wasn't a familiar face nor was he a child and surely couldn't be a draft. Who was he then? Well there was only one way to find out. "Hello, I'm Dutiron Destruction, who are you? Are you new to the pack?"

Walk | Talk | Think

The days that had followed his run in with the red girl, the young emissary for the divine power of the world, had left him accompanied by moments of dazed fascination. He could still not believe someone of such great importance had thought him worthy enough to be graced by their presence. Though he knew he should not, he grew more and more curious of the other red wolves - he knew of at least one other - wishing that he could have had the pleasure to meet them all. But one was remarkable enough, and though he dared not think it too loudly he was already beginning to think of her as his own personal messenger, a physical representation that he was doing right by the religion he followed.

He longed very much to tell his mother of his findings and prayed that she might already be back and waiting with his grandfather when the older wolf called for a hunt. As his eager steps brought him within sight of those already gathered he was disappointed to note she was still absent, and resigned himself to tell her later. Likely his still-present family would have gladly listened to him, but in his mind Song was the most practiced, most knowledgeable, in regards to what they believed, and if anyone woul understand it would be her.

So quietly, harboring his secret close for the time being, the brown pup Requiem wandered over to join his brother - a courteous dip of his head given in recognition of his grandfather Dutiron - and eyed the welcomed stranger the boy addressed with open curiosity and a faint smile.

Saga was not the first to arrive; though it was unsurprising, as she was not quick to anything, her often reactions slow and calculated. Though the call was coming from her grandfather, she would not rush to reply to it. Instead, the girl found herself wondering what he possibly might want. Her mother had been absent for some time now -- was she hurt? Perhaps even dead? But his call did not have any hint of urgency to it, and yet she found herself expecting the worst.

Still no urgency presented itself to her, even as she cautiously drew closer to the gathering and made her presence known silently. Her green gaze would start on her grandfather, before finding a brown-pelted male that she did not know. Though she never expressed much affection even to her litter-mates, she was used to their company and the presence of family in general. This male was not related to her, and she found her nose wrinkling in mild irritation at his presence around her siblings.

It was them that she directed her attention toward next. Dutiron was talking to the stranger, and she found her paws carrying her to Requiem's side. She was silent as ever, wondering what this meeting was for, but also unwilling to ask.

Hearing the call of his grandfather F?licien would rise from where he lay in the sun. A yawn would leave the boy, stretching out his limbs as he tried to shake the drowsiness from his body. He had been having a good nap, but now that it was time to get some training underway he certainly had to focus. The male would blink his bi-colored eyes a couple of times, twitched his ears, and then set off. It was perhaps due to how groggy he was when he first awoke, but he arrived after a number of the other young wolves in the pack. He would look around, finding that neither of his siblings had arrived as of yet. But maybe they would arrive soon, right?

And as F?licien had hoped, it wouldn't take all that long for the first of his siblings to arrive. Sorrel as usual had been rather hesitant to answer the call, he had been on his own at the time and the young boy was still somewhat reluctant about all of this pack stuff. He was a Draft though and eventually would begin to make his way through the lands although at a painfully slow pace, hoping he would run into F?li or Cerise. Before he got there however he would come across the scent of his twin and now the boy would speed up, eventually silently joining the group which was too small for his liking. He would remain close to his brother and pray that this would be over quickly.

Frith would fortunately arrive, the other man had been a little doubtful of his own skills though Dutiron had the faith that he would learn swiftly, evidently from his success hunting as of late he wasn't a bad hunter to begin with. Hopefully the boy would learn to have a similar faith in himself though no matter how he felt, it was good to see he'd put it aside to stick with the agreement and help the pack. "And to you to Frith." He would respond.

It wasn't long before the first Draft would arrive. All were of course his grandchildren though this particular young male also answered to the same name that the Author did. He would smile as the younger Dutiron would introduce himself and begin his questions. He would allow the darker male to answer them for himself and await for the rest of the Drafts to arrive.

At last the numbers seemed to slow and whilst a couple of his granddaughters were still missing, he thought it best not to allow the gathered to miss out, it was time to begin. "Good morning all of you. We'll get the introductions out of the way first I think. This here is Frith, he is one of the newer members of Ludicael and has offered his help with today's lesson." He would glance now towards Frith, and whilst he didn't anticipate the younger man to recall every name he would introduce each of the children gathered before them. "We have Dutiron here who you have already met of course, Reqiuem, Saga, F?licien and Sorrel."

With the introductions out of the way, time to begin to discuss the topic with the children. "Today I hope that you will be experiencing your first hunt as a pack, I've no doubt that many of you have hunted alone or in pairs but a group hunt it rather different. Any ideas why a group hunt is so different and useful?" He would prompt the young Drafts to guess, perhaps they had already been told, if not he was certain that at least the younger Dutiron might have a few ideas.

He would smile at the enthusiastic boy, his greeting hard to ignore and his name even harder to forget. The second Dutiron? He wondered who's son this was? "Hi, I'm Frith. And I am new to the pack." That was about all he would get in as the older Dutiron would take the stage. He would nod to the other young members who had come to join, most of them seem rather reserved if not a bit cold. He had to understand though, he was a stranger in their family. The Author would ask question, and his tail would just wag a bit, he didn't want to answer and take one of the little guy's thunder.

Saga watched in guarded silence as two other wolves joined the group. All of them here seemed about the same age, with settled her slightly frazzled nerves slightly. Still she was wary of the older brute here, the one with the dark fur and orange eyes, and she kept her eyes locked to him for a long moment as he spoke to her brother. She felt suddenly possessive, but her jaws would remain clamped firmly shut and her body eerily still as she waited for their grandfather to speak.

He introduced all of them to one another, and she put the few names that she hadn't known to memory, eying them without a sound. He quickly moved on to what they had been gathered her for: to hunt as a group. Perhaps this would be a good way to let out some of the inevitable frustration that had grown inside her. Their mother's disappearance had not been kind to Saga, but the feelings were best kept inside and away from public view.

'And ideas why a group hunt is so different and useful?' Dutiron i would ask the Drafts, and she would think for a moment before speaking aloud without abandon. "We can kill bigger things together than we can alone," she stated, her voice giving away how dreadfully obvious she thought the answer was, but perhaps it was not the answer he was looking for?

A new member, there hadn't been too many of them since Dutiron's birth not ones that weren't family anyway as of late the number had increased slightly though those bearing the Destruction name were still certainly the main population in Ludicael it seemed. He would store Frith's name away in his memory and listen as his grandfather began the meeting, explaining first who Frith was to each of them and then why they were gathered here. A group hunt!

Saga would steal his chance to answer a question, it certainly didn't annoy the boy he didn't mind other's answering and asking things though it certainly came as a surprise to the younger Dutiron. His sister after all was normally so quiet, even more so than he and truth be told he would have guessed it to have been Reqieum or perhaps their cousin F?li who may have spoken first. Well good for her he decided, keeping his mouth shut and glancing back to their grandfather to await his reaction to the answer.

Walk | Talk | Think

The male his brother had spoken to appeared to be friendly enough, which was a good sign in Requiem's mind. Ludicael was a close pack. Everyone knew everyone in some roundabout way, and if you did not it was never for very long, but considering most everyone was family in some way, shape, or form it was rather easy to spot those who were not. Friendliness was a quick way to overcome that, to wedge your way in, and the brown youth could only assume he was making his own efforts to fit in and find a place amongst them. Certain it was not his place to make those sorts of judgments - he was still only learning things himself - Requiem left it to the others, easy enough to do as his grandfather Dutiron finally called them to order.

His attention turned to the older male, listening as introductions were made for the new male - Frith's - benefit and then as the intention behind the gathering was given. A pack hunt? That was exciting. Most of his won endeavors with hunting had been conducted alone, especially of late. Having them all together, working as one, would be an entirely new experience. And though there was some part of him that was unsure, that wondered how such arrangements worked out for the better, he was more than willing to give it a shot.

With a little wag within his tail, his grandfather posed a question for the lot of them, but before he could muster up the courage to say something before all of them his sister was the one who spoke first. He turned his head to glance her way, impressed but a little surprised considering she always tended to be so quiet, and then back toward the Author to see whether he would agree with Saga's choice.

OOC: Been a while, but wee, replying anyway~!
