RAISED ON IT
He had been planning to tell his mothers at the meeting but shit had gotten real real fast while Sibelle had tried to rip Crucifix a new one. The teen had never been a fan of violence, had never been one for fighting. He had always prefered words over physical acts but as he had watched he had realized that there would be things to fight for as he grew older. He would fight for his family, his home and his pack. And above all else he would fight for his princess. So he had waited until after the pack meeting, until after everyone had begun shuffling out and his mom had spoken to old friends. And then he had stepped forwards to stand before his moms, taking in a deep breath before forcing what he hoped was a brave smile on his face. "So... Moms... I went out adventuring the other day and met this really nice girl who was blind and she was a princess in Olympus and I'm a prince here and I asked her if I could be her prince and she said yes and now I wanna go live with her in her pack if that would be okay with you. Pretty please?" He started off slow but then as soon as he got to the adventure part he spead up significantly. He rushed to get all the words out before he chickened out. He was after all asking to leave. How would they react?
Desiree had been relaxing when all of a sudden her dear solo would blurt out a little speech all aimed about one little girl. A smile would quickly pull upon her lips in awe, though there was no denying the worrying the purple woman felt at the thought of her adopted son leaving so soon. How would Viridiana feel about this? " Solo, arent you a bit young to move home just for a girl? Who is she, it seems shes made quite an impression upon you." A small giggle would slip her lips, oh how children grow up so fast! " Will you behave? How do i know you wont be eaten by grizzly bears or.. or get abducted?" She would shake her head, though if Vi thought it was safe it'd make the purple nymph feel a whole lot better, perhaps des can go visit solo now and again. But first he needed permission.
OOC: Short post, im sorry:c
"Them grizzlies, you have got to be careful." He would snip from where he sat, keeping the mirth from his voice even though he was joking. Already Vivek was taller than the little purple woman, but she was one of the few that he respected at this point in his life. It still didn't keep his mouth in line, though. "Betchu she's a grizzly." The boy would tease his brother in the moments before their other mother showed up.
He was quite as he waited for his moms to speak, Desiree would be first to of course voice her concerns and Solo would frown in confusion. "Isn't this was princes do?" Go off and marry their princesses and keep them safe from harm. He seemed honestly confused as to why his mom would worry about him. She went on to speak about grizzlies and abduction and immediately his ears would fold back. What if he got abducted like Fia had...? But Vivek's snarky comments would banish those thought and slowly his lip would curl in distaste. How dare he speak ill of Gaia?!? Solo had never really fought with his siblings before but he was ready to throw down over this. "She. Is. Not..." His words were a hiss, each one being lashes out angrily by tongue. Nose would wrinkle slightly before turning his attention back to Desiree, trying to calm himself slightly. "She is a princess in Olympus and her name is Gaia... I told her I would be her prince and keep her safe and take her on adventures... Can I?" His words started out bold hit the last two words were timid, a child asking his mother for permissions as gaze snapped down to his shuffling paws.
Her attention had been elsewhere, saying farewell to pack members and telling others to meet with her later as they left. Vaguely she caught the rush of words slipping from Solo's lips and she would chuckle but allow Desiree to handle it for the time being. It wasn't until Vivek spoke did she turned and flash him a 'shut up' glance. Eyes would look between Desiree and Solo as the conversed and finally there was a pause she felt comfortable enough to speak in. "Actually Olympus is one of the few packs that agreed to an alliance rather then just a peace treaty. Their queen Virgil actually suggested an arranged marriage to seal the deal. Maybe this would be perfect? As well... Valhalla and Olympus share boarders so if he ever needed anything Svan would be close by..." It all seemed quite logical in her mind. Would Desiree be okay with this?
Hestia had limped forwards, closer to Solo than anyone else. She glanced back as the string of words left her brother's mouth. Instantly, her fur began to bristle and she glared at Solo through narrowed blue eyes, although she wasn't really mad. More worried than anything, really. She didn't want her family to leave. She glanced at where she thought Arisu was, but didn't find the wolf. She faced Solo again, and finally spoke. "What about Arisu? She'll be devastated. All because you fell in love with a princess." She paused for a moment. "She'll miss you, and Fiamette....I don't know about her."
The black and white female relaxed and smiled at her brother. She nuzzled Solo and pulled away. "Be careful, brother. I'll make sure Arisu will be okay. And, one more thing. Try and visit us sometime?" For a moment or so, the short temper went away, and the wolf standing there was only a concerned, loving sister.
